Excellent - this is the 2nd time we have had Glen and his crew over to do work and we couldn't be happier with the completed project. They were quick, thorough and cleaned up afterward. We will definitely recommend and use again!

Glenn gave me an estimate, we discussed a few more things that he suggested. He came back a second time, revised the initial estimate to include things that we discussed. While doing the work he found a problem with the walls not being connected as they should have been. He did an amazing job with the repair, strengthening them, connecting the walls and coating them. I'm sure I left several things out. The walls look wonderful! I plan on calling Glenn in the future as needed. He does excellent work, don't get discouraged if it takes a few calls for him him to meet with you.

Glenn came out and gave us a great estimate and was back within 2 weeks to do the work. They tore up some of the front walkway and ground out mortar on the rest, relaid the bricks they tore up and cleaned up and put down new mortar on the entire thing. Walkway is sealed and looks like new! On the back patio they ground out the mortar and put down new and sealed that, looks new as well. And finally, they ground out the mortar on the shoulders of all the chimneys which had been damaged by overflowing water from our gutters and filled the mortar back in and sealed those as well. Total work took less than 2 weeks and we are very happy with the results. We have already recommended the work to a neighbor!

Glenn did front step repair and refacing, but needed this job done on short notice before listing house. He understood tight timeline, worked me in and got it done. He is great guy and nice. I would highly recommend him to others. Thank you Glenn!!!

We asked for bids only from Angie's List providers and received several. This company isn't flashy and frankly their communications are very courteous, but brief and to the point. As busy as my husband and I are, that is preferable in our situation. We needed a company willing to work with us without actually meeting with us one on one. They took the initiative to go by our house on their own and inspect the veranda in order to provide us with a bid which we found hand-written in our mailbox a few days later. When we compared their bid against the others, we had to read through them very carefully to ensure each provider was offering the same services because of the huge disparity in prices. Once we confirmed that Glenn Mills Outdoor Solutions was in fact bidding the same work at a cost 50% lower than their closest competitor, we offered them the job. We were warned up front that there were several projects ahead of us and that we may need to wait a few weeks which at that price was fine with us. Sure enough, within a few weeks we received a call saying they were ready to start. Because we had done all of our communication via email or phone calls, we really didn't have a feel for the people doing the work or the quality we would be getting for such a low price. It took 2 days to complete the job. When we were finally able to see the finished product we were stunned by the results. The veranda which is really the centerpiece of the front of our home looks brand new. Once we get the hand railings replaced by a contractor who does that type of work, it is going to be spectacular. The only way we can describe the transformation Glenn Mills did to our veranda is nothing short of amazing. Obviously they come with our highest recommendation.....and the promise that any work we need done in the future on our brick home will hopefully be done by them! Update: got the final bill today. Glenn came out and gave me a written estimate. I accepted the price and we agreed on a start date of 10/5/15. The morning of the start date Glenn called and said he had been out of town and had car trouble would like to start the next day instead. I said fine. The next day I did not hear from him so I texted him and he asked if he could start on Friday instead. We settled on him getting started on Thursday and finishing on Friday. I understand the challenges of scheduling for a small business and tried to work with Glenn. He did offer a discount for the inconvenience which was appreciated. The quality of the work was fine. I would have liked to seen the jobsite cleaned up a little more. There was a lot of mortar left on the yard that I had to clean up.

Glenn Mills was very prompt with our request for an estimate to remove two wing walls attached to our house that were failing, as well as filling in various cracks in our brick. He quoted a price that could not even come close to be beaten by other companies (we always do our due diligence and get multiple quotes). Work was done within days of securing a city permit. Any problems encountered along the way were handled promptly and professionally. Overall, we could not be happier with the services we received from Glenn Mills and his crew! Highly recommend him to anybody!!

The provider came out and gave an estimate real quick, but I wasn't home to meet with him. However, that was the last time I heard from him. He did not return phone calls from me and calling goes directly to voicemail every time. I have been waiting for a couple weeks for this repair and no answer. Totally unprofessional

We are very pleased with the finished product and pleased with Glen and his crew.

The steps from the family room to the patio had been built incorrectly 15 years ago by the builder's mason. One step was short & one step was very tall & difficult to reach. My husband tore out the steps thinking that he could fix them but when he got down to the footer, he realized that he could not. Glenn came promptly & gave us a very reasonable estimate. He explained what needed to be done & why. His bid for the work was excellent and he was very professional in his explanations so we scheduled the job. It has been frustrating for both Glenn & us because of all the rain we have had in the last several weeks. It rained cats & dogs some part of nearly every day. The brick was wet & the hole down to the footer was wet. Glenn came prior to the date for rebuilding the steps & covered everything. Whenever we had a sunny hour or two we would uncover things so they could dry out then recover them to keep them dry through the next monsoon. Finally a sunny day arrived and so did Glenn & his helpers. They were pleasant & efficient. They used tarps to cover & protect the patio. They worked well together as a team and the steps were completed in just a day. They cleaned up after themselves & the patio looks great. The steps look fantastic and blend in so well to the brick on the house that you would think these were the original steps. We would definitely recommend Glenn & Outdoor Solutions for any mason work that anyone needs to have done.

Glenn and his men did an excellent job. I am very happy with the fireplace and also with the retaining wall. They worked very clean and moved the furniture and left the place cleaner than it was. Very happy with the work. They came back immediately when there was a small problem with being able to get to the electric fireplace and resolved it without any trouble.

Arrived on the day agreed upon and reported progress each day (3 partial days). Glenn Mills personally handled all communication in a prompt and professional manner. His crew worked hard and were personable, answering questions. We were pleased with the quality of the work, the timeliness of the work and the price. We would have this company again for this type of work and would recommend them to others.

It went great! I had a difficult time finding someone to do a small concrete job, but Glenn specializes in these types of jobs. He removed the crumbling concrete and poured a new threshold for us. It looks like it did years ago before it crumbled.

We are extremely happy with the service provided and the results. From our first meeting I could tell Glenn was very knowledgeable and would provide us with quality workmanship. Glenn worked around our schedule and the job was completed on time when expected. The chimney looks great. We had other companies attempt to repair the same problem but didn't finish the job and their repairs were obvious to the eye (mortar color didn't match or stuck out from the bricks). I really appreciated that Glenn himself was on the job site throughout the day to check on progress and spoke with me before they left. He even helped me with a last minute repair on his way out the door. Would definitely recommend this company and use them in future if needed.

Glenn was very responsive from the start. I could call, text, or email him and he always responded promptly. He also had to work with a concrete company who was pouring a driveway around the wall he built. He did a great job of communicating with the company, and despite the challenges of weather, was able to keep to the timetable coordinated with them. Glenn and his workers were friendly, prompt, and did great work.

Job was scheduled and completed in a timely manner, my questions were answered and technique choices explained in a patient manner. Workers left the job site clean. I have hired him to return for more tuckpointing at a later date.

Adam and Paul arrived on time and were terrific in taking their time to do the detailed work of filling in cracks with concrete and making it look good. They also sprayed it down with sealant to protect it from the weather. I was very pleased with their work and genial personalities. I would call them again for a future project.
