The work was done right away with a real dedication to quality work and the needs of our project. The finished stonework looked so good, I was sad to have it covered with wood doors.

I first contacted Glenn on 7/31. He looked at the job and gave me an hourly pricing. I agreed to the pricing. I also asked him about timing and he gave me an approximate start date. He did not call back, so I called him. Once again, he gave a new approximate date. When he did not meet this date, I called again. This time, he would not commit to a time frame. As a result of leading me on, I missed the timeframe that I had for getting the job done this fall. So, bottom line is that I was very disappointed in the way Mr. Mills does business. I would not recommend him based on my experience.

We had a couple of Angie's List recommended masonry companies out to quote the job of adding onto our brick patio and Glen was the best priced and instilled the most confidence that he knew what he was talking about. I'd hire Glen again in a heartbeat and recommend you do the same. Here's why: He had a couple of months worth of work ahead of us, but I'm glad we waited. Glen and his son PJ were on the jobsite every day, and their attention to detail is excellent. There were a couple of unforeseen issues that came up, but Glen handled it flawlessly. For example, in the place where we were putting our patio we'd once had a big stump ground up. Once they started clearing the area, they realized they needed to rent a stump grinder and get the stump out. Although they aren't stump people, they did the job and basically charged me at cost to rent that equipment - which is more than fair. Another issue was that the local brick supplier didn't have an exact match for some of our black bricks - so Glen took an entire day and drove to Toledo to get the right brick. He didn't charge anything extra for that, and obviously the gas money and time was a cost to him. Whenever a company voluntarily takes a loss to stick to their original quote, that's a sign that you've found a good company. Ultimately, PJ finished up the job last night and then came back this morning to touch up a few things that most people would never even notice -that's the kind of attention to detail we're talking about. It's likely when you call Glen he'll still have quite a few jobs ahead of you - but there's a reason for that... it's worth the wait to get it done right.

Glen was very responsive, great to work with and his team was very hard working. They did the job and they did it quickly to help us out before the painters were done so that the painters could paint the new brick for us. I would gladly hire them again.

We had an unattractive, crumbling half wall on our porch and Glenn Mills Outdoor Solutions removed it, patched the house and removed the concrete base. Glenn was easy to communicate with and his workers were timely, polite and efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to call Glenn again for masonry work.

I give this company my highest recommendation. Their work was outstanding. They were persistent in removing the milky substance from walk. Glenn came back several times to scrub the walk until the substance was removed. You will not be disappointed hiring this company.

Glen came this winter promptly after my phone call and gave me an estimate for several small repairs and also suggested a few others which were very helpful. He said he would be back when temperatures warmed up which indeed he was. He finished the work --tuckpointing a bay window area, repairing cracked concrete on porch and patio in one day at a very reasonable price. Very pleased with the service.

I had an excellent experience using Glenn and his crew to build me about a 50ft long by 4ft tall retaining wall around a concrete pad I had poured. They did a wonderful job and were very professional. Glenn communicated very well, and his price was very reasonable for the amount of work involved. I was going more for functionality than looks, and it ended up looking awesome with nice caps across the entire wall. Most companies charge additional for the wall caps. I will absolutely hire this company again.

The service is excellent. Their work is outstanding. Glenn, the owner was here. And last Friday, when we thought the work was done, and discovered some parts needed. He came back Monday after I paid to finish the work. I would highly recommend his services. And what was amazing was that he was already paid but still he came back. He is an excellent man.
