Professional Garage Door

They were very friendly when they were there working for me. They were very professional about the job. They had showed up on time to do the work for me.

Very well. We saw them at the Home Show in February and were impressed. In May we called them and a representative came out with samples and catalogs. We made our decision, called and ordered the new doors. The new ones came in and were installed beautifully right on time.

I called them they said that they would be out the same day and I asked them to be there around 3 PM or to at least give me a 20 min notice. They did that! I could not get my garage door up and he walked in and he got it to go up. I had a mother board go out in my garage door opener. He showed me where an electrical shortage had blown out the main mother board. He suggested that I replace both parts to save myself $200 to $300. Then he replaced the bottom peace of rubber on the garage door, greased it and serviced it. Did the work very quickly. Looked at the windows and they had lost their air tightness. The condensation was getting into them and three of the four were bad. It was not necessary to replace them but I decided to have them replaced anyway. He has ordered them.

Timely, they came when they said they would. Cleaned up after themselves, took all old materials away. They did a great job. Door works perfectly now.

We priced garage doors at two home improvement stores, hoping to save a little money. First of all, when we looked at the doors it was pretty much "Well, here they are" and it was up to us to read the description. Also, their sales only include the white doors. There was also the hassle of trying to find an installer. Anyway we decided to compare the prices with garage door companies. The people at Professional Garage Doors were very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The price quoted was reasonable, personnel were knowledgeable about the product, the workmen arrived in a timely manner, took down the old door, installed the new door and door opener without any hassle and hauled all the old stuff away. Left a clean work site. We are more than satisfied and actually have a better door than we would have gotten from the two home improvement stores. We also received the Angie's List's discount with no hassle.

Professional Garage Doors came to my home to show me new garage door options for our home. Brad Biddle measured our doors and then we sat down and went through the options available. I selected what I wanted and he gave me an estimate and I placed the order. Brad was very easy to work with and very helpful. Installation went as planned. The new doors look wonderful and add character to our home.

Said they would call before they come, but had someone in the area, therefore they didn't end up calling, just showed up. Got there at 4:03 and was done at 4:07. He was calling his boss after that and was going to charge me $99. I had told him not to do anything and he replaced the cotter pin anyway and then put some grease on it, etc. After speaking with them on the phone originally, they did not tell me there was a charge for them to come out and give an estimate. They originally thought it was the spring by the way I was describing it to them. It ended up just being the cotter pin. I disputed the cost for only 4 minutes of work and he said he would charge me $66. I did not end up paying them and I called the service manager, Jason to dispute the cost. I felt like I was taken advantage of because of where I live. I felt it was deceptive business practice.

They treated me very nicely. They did good work.

We called Professional and they arranged an appointment to check out our problem and repair it as necessary. Everyone, from the phone person to the repairman, were all polite and quick and friendly. Price was right. A very pleasant experience.

I phoned for service during a snow storm. I anticipated the cost and service time. The doors were repaired at 1/3 the anticipated cost, and service was provided the next day during a snow storm! They had outstanding service!!

We could not stay home and babysit the open door, so we reluctantly left with it open. I called Professional Door Systems and talked directly to someone in their office. They sent someone out within 2 hours (they called me to tell me they were on the way), fixed the door and oiled it. Before I called them, I had checked Angie's List and found someone who was located closer, but their phone was on answering machine mode. Since I considered this a bit of an emergency, I did not want to leave a message because I didn't know when it would be picked up. It may seem a small thing, but talking directly to a person and having them transfer me to the department where they perform the repairs to talk to another PERSON was very reassuring. They were quite willing to come even though we have no idea who did the original installation. It didn't even matter to them what brand of door opener we had. I was very pleased! They were very polite and prompt.

It went well. I think I got a good deal on the price due to the extra work involved, but it wasn't exactly cheap. The openers work perfectly. The installer was friendly and very professional.

I am new to Indiana, and my heart quivers every time something has to be repaired, and not knowing how things will work out. As an elderly widow Angie's List has become my lifeline in a sea of uncertainty.

They were just excellent, they were professional and punctual. Their price was good, I have no complaints.
