I had received estimates from several companies. Some of the companies were very professional but were way too expensive others had good prices but lacked professionalism and experience. I was very impressed with wood medic. They were friendly and good with communication. I also noticed that Angie?s list members were pleased with their work. On the first visit the owner came and gave me an estimate and explained what I could expect to happen with my deck over the next couple of years. He came across more knowledgeable and honest then the other salesmen I dealt with. On the second visit they cleaned and pressure washed my deck. The third and final visit was when the staining took place. The wood medic employee was very polite and professional. He worked hard the whole time he was here and did a great job with prep and clean up. I am very happy with the work that was done.

They were very prompt and responded to my query. They were honest about what the problem was. I was very appreciative that they took the time to look at the problem, even though we didn't end up using their service. They were polite and showed up exactly when they said that they would.

I thought everything looked reasonable, a little higher than I had hoped but that may be because I'm out of touch with things. Otherwise, I was very impressed. They came across as knowledgeable and personable. If we decide to go ahead with the project we probably will use them.

I called them and two other companies for an estimate last year. Woodmedic came out right away to give me an estimate and told me I could wait another year before I had my fence cleaned. They had the best price, and I really liked their honesty. When I called them this year, they came out to do the work in a few weeks. Along one side of my fence, some dirt was covering up some of the it. I needed to get out the shovel and remove the dirt before I could have them start. I was not able to get this done before they were due to start the work. When I called to reschedule so I could get the fence ready, they offered to do it for me at no extra cost. They came out when they said they would and got the fence done in the time they said it would take. They did a great job, and my 10 year old fence looks brand new. They even did a minor repair for me without me even asking! They are a great customer focused company that I highly recommend.

The process went very well, overall. This is the second time we have used Wood Medic for this service and we will likely use them again in the future.

We just make the contact. We did not need to be home. They cleaned the deck then, because of the constant rain, they called to tell us when they would return to stain the deck. Great job.

He's been out three times for us. He came out last week and put the stain on and it started raining. So, he came out today and put another coat to make sure it had a good stick. His prices are very good. For what he does, he was less than half for his competitors. This guy is great for the price. I would recommend him. He's a good guy who does good work.

They were very careful about the landscaping plans when they were doing the work. They did a great job. Their prices were competitive, but they could have been a little cheaper. I have used them before and I will use them again.

Their estimate was the 2nd highest of the 3 estimates we got, but mostly we didn't go with them because we had a tight time frame that they couldn't meet.

Receptionist answering phone calls was very pleasant, informed, efficient, and helpful. Lyndon was great to work with....easy going, helpful, kind, not rushed. Had to wait a couple of weeks for the deck to be stained due to rain. Young man who performed power washing was a hard worker, but left without checking in with us (we assumed he was done). The folks who came to stain missed a few spots, and we had to call them to come back. They came back as we asked and finished the job. Lyndon even obtained some extra deck stain for us free-of-charge so we could stain a new wooden gate.

They did a good job and I felt his prices were reasonable. I would recommend having them put some sand in the stain that they put on the steps because that will help prevent slipping.

My experience with them was very good. We have had other people do the front walk and they are the only ones that made it shine. They made the wood on the deck the color we wanted. The results were great.

I called for an estimate which they did promptly. When I decided to have them do the work, they explained that they were booked up for the next several weeks, but would give me a call as soon as they could do my job. They called me a few days in advance to set a date. They arrived promptly, paid attention to detail, and made sure that the wood was thoroughly treated since it was soaking up a lot of sealant. Unfortunately, after they left it started raining unexpectedly and rained all day. The dripping rain resulted in some of the color splashing onto a concrete pool deck below. When I notified them of this problem, they came out to clean the concrete. When that was not possible, he offered to restore the original color of the concrete decking by staining it that day with leftover product that had been used for the concrete decking. It all looks great now; the color is actually better than the original color of the deck!

Called Lyndon Crumpacker for quote. He arrived precisely on time and tendered quote and I contracted for his services. He arrived precisely on time to power wash and again to stain. He employed two men who were somewhat inexperienced and produced a less than acceptable finished product (missed areas) which I brought to his attention. Lyndon promptly visited my home and guaranteed the job would be completed to my satisfaction. Lyndon himself performed the the touch-up work. Although I was initially disappointed in the workmanship, based upon Wood Medic's Angie's List ratings, Lyndon restored my confidence when he personally remedied any and all issues. You will not find a finer person to do business with than Lyndon Crumpacker and his wife Mindy.

The company representatives were very easy to work with and quite personable. The work performed was as dictated in the proposal and special attention was given to replaced boards which had not been previously stained. This homeowner has used other companies for staining at a substantially higher cost with much less satisfaction. We will continue to use this firm for our ongoing maintenance.
