Their service was great. They got back to me very quickly with an estimate (which was not true with everyone I called). The estimate was very reasonable. When I accepted the estimate, I was placed on their schedule and the service was performed when they said it would be. The fence looks great.

They were great. They came when they said they were going to. The work took 2 days because the deck had to dry after the powerwash before being stained. They covered my garden with a tarp so it did no get damaged.

My first impression of the workers that came to do the work was they seemed professional, good people, and friendly. I went with Wood Medic over other companies, because of the recommendation on Angie's List.

I contacted Wood Medic, explained the situation, sent photos, text messages and received an immediate response that Lyndon would come to our home, look at the deck and send us an estimate. I met with Lyndon, discussed the situation and asked numerous questions. He was very professional, personable and provided answers to all my questions. Received the estimate via email, responded that I agreed to the price. He provided a possible date, but shared with me contingent on the weather which I completely understood. Received a text indicating the date stripping would occur, arrived timely also nag with another person and did an outstanding job. He met with me at the end of the stripping process and gave me a possible date for returning to complete the staining. Received a text the following week stating the date to return for completion of the staining. Arrived early morning and did an outstanding job along with another person. The deck looks beautiful! What an amazing job he and his team completed on our deck!

Not well--uneven application of stain, mold coming through . Looks worse than before work was done. Lyndon came out to look at the work after I called with concerns about results. He scratched his head admitting that it did not look like he had hope. He reassured me with time it would "even out" and look better. I could tell he felt bad and he offer to take $200 off the price. My mistake is I turned down his offer. A few months later the deck looks even worse. He came out again and met with my husband. Something about our trees and mold. As the expert I would have expected him to anticipate this issue. Would not recommend or rehire.

WOOD MEDIC INC – GREAT WORK! Wood Medic did a great job with my deck. I went with Wood Medic because of their reputation for good work. My neighbor had a fence stained by Wood Medic last year, and she recommended them. I liked Lyndon, who did the estimate, and Mindy, who handles the scheduling and office work. Daniel did the cleaning and power-washing of the deck. Anthony and Nick did the staining a few days later. The sealant color I selected is Butternut Brown -- it has a flat matte finish. Because Wood Medic is a small family company, you can speak with either Lyndon or Mindy if you have any questions. Lyndon answered all my concerns before work began. The quote was done relatively quickly. Lyndon and Mindy and their crew were all very knowledgeable about the products and what should be used on what parts of the backyard. Once the quote was accepted, it was difficult to get on the schedule - I had to call twice. Then the first appointment was rescheduled day of. But once they were here and did the work, it was amazing. High quality workmanship, they did exactly what they quoted to do, and the after-service and follow up has been top notch. We would definitely recommend Wood Medic and use them again ourselves!

This was the second time they have done our deck, and as usual, an awesome job!! Always here when they say they will be. Extremely professional! Good price and beautiful job! Lasts way longer than the high dollar stuff we put on from Menards!! We powerwash it first, so they're ready to go when they get here, so that saves us some $$. Also, we have a problem with carpenter bees on our porch cedar posts. One of the guys suggested we try a carpenter bee trap. We ordered one thru Amazon, and IT WORKS!!! We've tried all kinds of things, but this works!! Thanks SO much for the tip!

They did a fantastic job. they were very responsive when we initially called. personable, professional. Scheduling, our weather being all over, was flexible and clear about what was needed and why. Did a very fine job with the power washing as well. A couple days later it was nice and windy and we had no rain so they called and asked if the deck was dry and they came back and brushed on the sealant.

Perfect! They were able to do the job quickly and at a fraction of the price quoted by another company. The job took two days to do--one day to replace rotted boards and clean the deck and another day to stain.

Pressure washer performed all duties during a rain storm. He did a great job in spite of the weather and cleaned up the work area when finished. He was on time, polite and professional. The painters came two days later (after more rain) and were on time and all business. The children's play set had two stories, a slide and sandbox and attached swing set. They were thorough, meticulous and did a very acceptable job. Since the work followed a period of much rain, the office personnel did a great job of keeping me informed of their schedule. Wood Medic is a good company, one I would use again and recommend to others without hesitation.

I had all exterior boards on my deck replaced. My deck is about 450 square feet. Lyndon came out and informed me of procedure, time frame and price. He was very courteous and professional. He explained to me that because boards were cedar they will need to be washed to remove film prior to staining. There was no visible film at this time, but he let me know this was needed. I had no doubt that Lyndon could do a quality job. He was highly recommended. The problem was, Lyndon didn't do the work, his crew did. It is my opinion that his crew didn't do a very good job. When the deck was finished there were "globs" of residue on the deck, siding, fence, and patio furniture. I had placed furniture in my yard away from deck so residue on it was puzzling. After I complained, Lyndon came out and inspected the work. He said not to remove residue from deck because it contained some treatment and color. (deck was slightly tinted) He also said residue would vanish by following spring. Here we are almost a year later and residue is still noticeable on the deck. The residue on siding, fence, and furniture are no longer apparent. I had to replace 5 of the new board on the deck and someone from Wood Medic came out and treated these boards. I was not home at the time, but they did a wonderful job.

My husband pressure washed our fence and hired Wood Medic to complete the rest of the job by painting. They were very easy to communicate and schedule with. They were able to complete our job within 4 days of hiring them! We contacted several companies for quotes and the Wood Medics pricing was very competitive. They did a fantastic job of painting and even came back to touch up a few spots that we weren't completely satisfied with. I would definitely recommend using the Wood Medic!

Wood Medic was prompt, professional and reasonably priced. I called on a Monday, after receiving an estimate, and Wood Medic performed the job on Wednesday. Lyndon did a great job and I love the California Cedar color. The warranty will set my mind at ease for a few years.

WoodMedic was excellent to work with. They were very responsive (which can sometimes be rare with subcontractors). They replied to emails in a timely manner, showed up on time, and completed the job within the time limits that they said they would. Very reasonably priced as well. Great communication in listening to what we wanted, and managing the guys that actually did the work. We will hire them again the next time we need it stained.

The owners and crew of Wood Medic Inc. are absolutely wonderful. From my first call to owner, Mindy, to schedule an estimate, to owner, Lyndon's prompt arrival to do so, to his and the crew's stripping, sanding and staining, it could not have gone any better. They were all very professional, punctual and perfectionists. Our former eyesore of a deck looks brand new!

Wood Medic was very professional and did (in retrospect) what is likely to be a fair estimate to paint a shadow box fence around my yard. They showed up when they stated and provided a written estimate of what they would do and what the cost would be. Overall, I have no complaints other than they mismarked the estimate as a 6 foot fence instead of 5. I will seriously consider Wood Medic in the future. My primary reason for passing this time is that the amount was a bit above my budget at this time. While I've not had them do any work yet, I would recommend them based on the professionalism of how they did their overall estimate.
