The deck was stripped, power washed and sanded lightly. The stain was then applied but went on unevenly. The owner insisted that he would resand the deck and apply a second coat of stain which he had done the next day. He refused to accept payment for the work until we were completely satisfied. The final product is great and should last for several years.

We use Wood Medic every year to power wash and seal our deck. They respond promptly to phone calls and are always very professional. They perform the job when promised and they always do good work, which is why we continue to use them.

They did an excellent job and were very nice. I have no complaints. I would give them an A grade overall.

First off, Lyndon was prompt in coming out to give me a quote for pressure washing and staining our fence. I had already stained our little deck/landing in our back yard, and wanted to match the cedar fence to the cedar deck. He wrote down the stain I used and said he would use that to make sure it would match.They were quite busy, but able to get to us about 2-3 weeks after calling to set up the work. Our job took 2 days. The first day, they came out and pressure sprayed the fence. It was very thorough, no previous stain or moss/algae build up was left on the fence. The next day they came out to stain it. We have a stone patio in our backyard, and they laid out thick sheets to cover the patio while staining. The finished product looks great and we could not be happier with how new the fence looked. Thanks!

I contacted Wood Medic based on a strong referral from another Angie's List vendor and on the Angie's List evaluations. We had our old deck torn off and replaced and wanted to be sure we had a good base sealer applied to the new wood before winter. Lyndon provided an estimate, answered all our questions (via several emails) and then scheduled his team to do the work. Due to schedules they thought it would be several weeks but they were able to work us into the schedule sooner than planned which worked out well. The young men doing the work were very clear in communicating what they were doing, how long it would take and making suggestions on use of the deck. They were careful to not cause any overspray onto the house or bushes. The deck looks great and they even left us some material in case we need to touch up a board.

Great service. Corresponded with Lyndon by email but he was prompt with his responses to my questions and didn't require me to be at home for the estimate. The power washing looked great and he left samples of the stain for me to choose my color. The deck bench had a couple of spots that needed touching up but they returned promptly and fixed them to my satisfaction. I was at home for the last touch up work and the young man was very personable and thorough.

Did a terrific job. My fence is six years old and never been stained. After spray washing, it looked brand new. The stain went on extremely well and looks wonderful. Good people to work with.

They are very professional. Lyndon made sure to finish our deck as requested-before Labor Day (which was wonderful because we had a last minute, unexpected guest staying with us for the holiday weekend) and the deck looked beautiful! Lastly, we forgot to send in our coupon with the payment and Lyndon promptly refunded our payment overage.This is a first class company!

It was excellent, neat, and done on time. I found the price to be fair.

Outstanding work. Both fence and deck look great. We have received a number of compliments. Lyndon did a great job quarterbacking the whole deal and being there the first day. Did a nice job working around some grown plants. We were very pleased.

I have had Lyndon out before to powerwash & stain my deck & fencing & he did a fabulous job. I didn't hesitate to use his company again. Lyndon & Mindy are always very professional & responsive--very easy to work with. I was having a party & wanted everything done by a certain date. Even though there were some delays on my part, Lyndon made sure everything was done by the date I needed it done. This involved working with a fencing company to coordinate their efforts. I was extremely pleased with the job they did on everything. What especially impressed me was how great my sidewalk looked after being cleaned & sealed. It looked better than when I first had it installed several years ago. Many people thought I had had a new sidewalk put in. My only disappointment was that there was a little carelessness with the new lansdcaping I had done a couple of months ago. There was some overspray on the rocks in the water feature, some pavers, & an existing sidewalk. Also, one of the bushes had some type of damage afterwards, but I think it will be fine after trimming away some withered branches. When I told Lyndon about this, he was sincerely apologetic & offered to take some money off the original price. He gave me a couple of ideas on how to wash the stain off & said it should bleach out with some time. All in all, I was very happy with the experience & would use Wood Medic again. August 2012 - Wood Medic charged a nominal fee to come out & stain new replacement boards on my fencing (replaced due to bowing or splitting since installation in 2011) & touch up the stain on my deck. The entire experience with Wood Medic was outstanding. They were friendly and punctual and always returned my calls. At the completion of the job, the deck looked brand new. Because I have a busy schedule and we are still unpacking from the move, I was not able to supervise the job at all. Actually, I never physically interacted with anyone at WM except by phone which is something I never do (I usually have to stay on top of contractors to insure the job is done right). Based on my experience and the quality of the work, I would highly recommend Wood Medic for deck restoration.

They were very prompt with an estimate and did the work as scheduled. Their serviceman did some minor damage to a downspout that they repaired promptly and without charge. The serviceman did apparently The work itself is well spill some stain on the lawn, leaving a small dead spot. The work itself was well done and the results are excellent.

They told us that doing the job now would cost us an additional $1000 because of the timing. The longer the stain stays in the sun, the easier it'll be to remove it.

Friday they did a great job of power washing (which removed a lot of the paint) the deck. Monday many hours were spent removing the rest of the paint from the floor and the top of the railing by hand sanders and scrapers They took great care in covering the siding on the back of the house,windows, plants and trees from the paint Lyndon Crumpacker advised me to stay with the same color . They would be able to get all the paint off the wood there could be still some in the cracks (which wood be impossible to remove) and would be less noticeable. The project is now finished and my deck looks great . This company did a wonderful job and I feel like I got the best advise on removing the paint on the floor and keeping it on the railing . I have to say it was one of my better experience working with companies

I think their price was all related to the size of the work. There is nothing I didn't like about them. They were very professional. They did a high-quality work. They were very tentative to our needs and selections that we wanted. I was pleased with everything.

If only all transactions with contractors could go as easily. He came promptly with an estimate. When I called to schedule the work we needed to wait for the ground to dry. As soon the ground started to dry they called to ask if they could come the next day. They arrived and fixed the fence, I didn't even know they were there. The fence looks like new. I did ask for an estimate for some work on my deck that he was kind of high on, but I'm not really familiar with the cost of that kind of work. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

He is very honest and does not try to over sell you. His word is good, I know that.

The young man who runs the organization was very honest. He was very nice. We felt like we could really trust him. I don't think he was trying to make money from us. The workers did an excellent job. They were very careful with the shrubs. We thought the price was reasonable for the quality of the work. They came when they said they were going to come. They called us ahead of time to make sure that it wasn't raining. They were very polite and respectful of our property. I would recommend them to others.

Lyndon examined the problem with previous stain applications that continued to bubble. He suggest a complete redo and provided an estimate. The work was started in the timeframe estimated. Although it took longer to strip and prepare the surfaces for restaining, and took an additional stain coat, I was not charged any more than the original estimate. The deck looks great and there has been no evidence or any further bubbling.

See above. From initial contact working with Mindy through to Kyle, I think, and owner, the whole experience was professional and customer service oriented. Very positive.

I had to leave a message on their machine and they called me back the next day and set up time for an estimate. Arrived on time for estimate and I made decision to have deck work done. They came on time and explained cleaning products used. After it dried, more employees returned. They protected all our plants and were very careful to keep overspray conrolled. It took about 4 hours to cover with the stain/preservative and they cleaned everything up and throughly explained how long preservative would last and when we could put things back on our deck. Deck is two level, approximately 500 sq feet. They all worked steadly and completed estimated work well and in a timely manner.

They were very prompt and very accommodating; they also stripped a stained a porch swing for us for a minimal charge. They were very good about putting up plastic to protect our landscaping and the siding on our home. We had a few boards on the deck that my husband flipped because they were worn so they gave us some extra stain free of charge so that we can put on a second coat later this fall. They were very accommodating with their time and they took very good care of our property while they were here. They kept everything around the deck as close to the way it was when they came as they could. They were professional in terms of being cordial and were happy to explain anything, but they also tried to keep things timely. We had four companies come out and Wood Medic had the best price by far and they even did some extras for no charge.
