DON'S PLUMBING

This was a relatively simple job, but it was done by Don's son, who is now fully licensed. He is neat, polite, and well-spoken, and he did an excellent job.

Don and his son, Don Jr., were prompt, polite and went above and beyond what was promised in the estimate. After another contractor opened the shower-area wall and Don was working on the plumbing for the fixtures, his son noticed a potential water leak in a nearby pipe. They said it could likely last another few years, but knowing we'd not want to open up the wall again, they completed that repair without charge. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them highly.

The son is the one who came out to fix my sink, he was very polite and personable. He had my sink fixed in less than an hour. I will call them again with any plumbing needs.

Very pleased with the work. The man was on time and very friendly. He cleaned up everything, including trash and took it with him upon leaving. The rates were very reasonable. Mr. Mow was quick to call me back after my initial phone call. I would definitely recommend them to others and use them again myself.

This is my favorite plumber. He is also on time, and his very friendly, neat and honest. I have recommended his services to my friends.

They were pretty clean for the kind of job they did. There was a concrete lid and they didn’t seem to have the tools to lift it up, so they kind of struggled with it a little bit. They did come in the time that they told me they would be coming and finished the job. They were pretty professional other than the fact that they took a lot of time to lift the lid up. I don’t think the price was too expensive. I think it was within what I was expecting. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

I was not present when they did the job but my daughter was. She was very happy with the information, quality of work and the expeditious response. They didn’t try to sell anything extra and in fact they had little trouble why it was to be re-set but when once they got that they did exactly what they were asked. Their service was good. I would recommend them highly.

It was an overall pleasant experience. We set up a time, and that is the time he arrived. He was organized and focused. In a short time, he was finished. We were impressed and will call Don when we need a plumber, as well as confidently recommend him!

It was the dad and son team. They were nice. They got things done as a family. The quality of work is decent, but they can do it better. I would use them again in the future if need be.

It was excellent. We got good service. They got back with us promptly. They corrected the problem and we will absolutely call them again. The price was a good value.

Don did an excellent job. He was on time, knew what he was doing and got the job done in a pleasant and professional manner. He could have charged us for an expensive repair on our inside faucet but pointed out that it just needed a simple adjustment. We wouldn't have known the difference and would have paid whatever he charged. We will use Don again if we have any other plumbing issues.

We had a toilet that did not drain properly. Don and his son determined the cause and made the necessary repairs.

I had this company come to my house for an estimate for my kitchen sink and 2 bathroom sinks. He told me everything that I needed and stated his prices but wouldn't give me an exact quote until I contacted the faucet manufacturer to see if they would honor a warranty. He told me that he was going to call me on Monday with the toll free number for the manufacturer but I haven't heard back from him. I have not attempted to call him back. I had told him that I had gotten his name from Angie's List, and he still didn't bother to call me back.

Called, got an apointment, came when they said, did the work professionakky and at a reasonable price, Don and his son are great.

Don Jr provided service. He was outstanding,. (His father should be very proud of his training). He responded to my call within hours and scheduled apptmt to meet my schedule. He was very pleasant and did outstandinjg work. The service was, by far, the best I have ever experienced in Virginia and here in South Bend. I highly recommend, My first use of Angie;s list, and I am a devote user now.,

He was very good. I called a couple of people and he had the best price. He was there when he said he would be, he was very quick and everything looked very good.

Don's Plumbing was very professional, courteous, punctual. I called him about the problem, he came out to take a look, gave me an estimate and we needed to wait until the snow melted for the water dept. to come out and find the shutoff for the water out by the road. I called when it was nice, the city marked the water, Don shut it off and replaced everything that needed replacing. Plus fixed the toilet that he didn't know about until he got here. I didn't expect him to be able to fix it on the spot, but he did with no problems. Will definitely use them for all my plumbing needs.

We were very impressed with the knowledge and professionalism that Don’s Plumbing exhibited when they came to plumb our new kitchen sink. They arrived on time and did not waste time with the installation. They removed the montage of pipes, elbows and couplings that had accumulated over the years from do-it-yourself fixes and did an install of new hardware all for $200 (labor and materials included) The new installation is more compact than the “mess” we had under the sink before… so they even saved us room as well. They were also very observant about other things going on in the area as well. Don noticed that our new dishwasher had a small leak around the seal and suggested we call the company we purchased it from to get it repaired. We will definitely call Don’s again for any plumbing needs we have.

My laundry room flooded because the sub pump did not come on to drain the water. I looked up plumbers on Angie's list and called Don's Plumbing. Don came out in 30 min. and had in fixed within the hour!!! I will always use Don and his son. Thank you Don and thank you Angie's list!!

Don and his son arrived promptly. They were friendly and courteous, introduced themselves, and immediately went to work. It was raining outside, so they were conscientious about not tracking mud on the floor. They worked quickly and efficiently - even with our nosy dog pestering them at times. Don also gave us helpful tips on keeping the new faucet in good condition and the consequences of storing a variety of cleaning supplies beneath the sink. It was a pleasure working with Don and his son and we would definitely use their plumbing service again. (Our dog liked them too.)

Don came with son, Don Jr on time checked out pipe & fixed it. Took probably 45 minutes. They were very nice, knew what needed to be done. Great plumbers. On 10/1/2010, I had a constant drip in upstairs shower. Don said he would not be available till following Tuesday, 10/5/2010. He was busy with other jobs, so had to call another plumber.

Don and his son dealt with an unexpected glitch with tact and professionalism. They checked all installations before leaving and cleaned up well. Overall, an excellent experience.

I called Don' s Plumbing to talk with him about an odor in our basement that was sometimes making it unable for us to even be downstairs. His response time was incredible! He and his son were at my door the same day and found where a cap had never been placed on one of the pipes that was a direct sewage line. It's no wonder we felt ill when hanging out in our rec room downstairs. The cap had never been put on by the builder! Don had the cap in his van and within minutes we were fixed, he wasn't even going to charge for the call but I wouldn't except that and we settled with a $20.00 payment he is a kind and very professional person. Thank goodness there are still wonderful people who care and Don's Plumbing is wonderful.
