They definitely aerated. I just wished that there was some way that the aeration machine could pick up all the plugs that is all over my lawn because it looked like geese poop. They did a thorough job aerating, but it looked like a flock of geese landed and pooped on my yard. It's not really rich soil here in Indiana. It's more clay-like. When you get a couple of dry days, it looks like poop. It did not cost more. I felt like they didn't evenly do it.

Purchased the Big Deal from Angie's List to get my lawn aerated. I was very appreciative that Ed traveled from Noblesville to Brownsburg to treat my lawn. He was on-time, professional and aerated my lawn quickly. I can already begin seeing the benefits of this service. I would recommend this company.

I live in the Avon/Plainfield area. Even though I do not live in the Y-Aerate normal service area (Noblesville), Ed was kind enough to come out, on a Sunday no less, and aerate my lawn. I initially had trouble receiving responses from Y-Aerate when contacting them to confirm if they were willing to perform the service, and on what day/time. Didn't know if they were not interested in serving me or what, and was on the verge of just cancelling. However, I found out that the communication difficulties were NOT due to Y-Aerate dis-interest. Angie's List Message Center was apparently having issues, and the vendor was NOT receiving my messages. Ed came out, and he was very professional and kind - did a GREAT! job. I will pass this business' information on to others , and hope that will result in additional business for them. Angie's List: Please fix communication issues with your Message Center.

Only did about half of the yard because a portion of it was too wet, which is ok, but I wasn't notified that it was a problem. I only found out by exploring the yard.

I had called him a week or so ago to find out the cost for aerating my lawn. He responded that evening and gave me a price. If you get other people in the neighborhood to use him also then there can be a discount. I decided to use him for the next week since he was getting pretty filled up and had a couple of other neighbors that wanted his service also. He let me know when he would be arriving and did a great job. He also informed me of the condition of my soil for future reference.

Ed showed up on the date agreed to and did very good job. A great price also.

I messaged Ed about mowing my lawn at my new house and he got back to me promptly. He was professional, honest and was at the house when we said he would be. He mentioned that since I ran my sprinkler system, which is my fault, the lawn might not look that great but wanted to give me a heads up first. Bought the Angie's list special offer online; I was contacted within 24 hours by the vendor, and everything went flawlessly.

He aerated our front and back yard and gave my husband and I useful information on future lawn care.

Ed promptly responded to our purchase of a deal via Angie's list. He quickly scheduled the work, was punctual and while onsite, he provided recommendations for our lawn. We'll definitely use his services again.

Went fine. My only beef is that it took awhile for the guys to get to it, but it was because of weather. Otherwise, they did a good job, avoided tree roots, got the whole yard done very quickly. Would use again.

The job was completed and the majority of the yard was properly aerated.

It went very well. Ed replied to my email right away. I had requested he give me 24 hour notice prior to service so I could mark my irrigation heads and he is the 1st company to actually follow through with that request. He also gave me some recommendations for how to care for my lawn.

I was given an estimate on the phone, and setup an appointment for 10/09/2011. The technician showed up as promised and did a good job. The price I was charged was the same as the estimate. Excellent experience.
