Description of Work: We have a patio window door that was cloudy and called this company at recommendation of friend . The company took my info and said someone would get back soon. After 2 1/2 days no one called so I called back They said guy in my territory on spring break and would call Monday. It was Thursday so I said sure no problem To my surprise the guy called within the hr and said he would call back with his calendar. He called back and we set up 5PM the following wednesday He never showed for the appointment and never called.

Description of Work: We had 6 windows repaired due to wood rot

Description of Work: The estimator came to my home promptly after my request for an estimate. He was courteous and helpful. Weeks went by and no estimate was provided. Had to call the headquarters to complain. Estimator called and said home office told him the type of glass I needed was no longer made by their primary supplier. He said the headquarters personnel would contact another supplier. Never heard back from anyone.

Description of Work: We had a large exterior window over the entry that was leaking water inside the house. I called Window Makeover. Brett came out, got up on his ladder and inspected the window. He said it just needed new caulking and that there was no need to hire them. There was no charge. I appreciated his professionalism and his not trying to sell me anything.

Description of Work: We had a bathroom window that had been installed incorrectly by the builder. Window Makeover corrected the error, saving us the cost of a new window. They did an excellent job.

Description of Work: I regret to say that while I've been trying to get over, trying to look past, one distressing element of this work (fixing windows), so that I could write a review of the experience, I still am not in the right place to do so. The workers were very competent in the windows work, however, they asked if they could trim a few bushes a little to more easily access the powder room and laundry room windows. I answered, "Sure, if you need to do that, I don't mind a little pruning." Instead, whoever did the 'trimming' cut back over 50% of two holly bushes -- WELL over 50%, and not lowering the height so much as cutting one half or more of each plant (from 'north pole' to 'south pole'), in essence destroying the poor bushes. A third holly bush was cut back and down approx 40% or so. And one of the ones that had been severely cut was then stepped on, so that a major stalk was broken off near the base of the plant and is now almost horizontal to the ground. These plants are in the beds at the front of our house, NOT in some out of the way area. And the two rooms are used constantly throughout any given day, so my entire family and I see the damage many times per day. It's very sad, and very disappointing. And since we spent a lot of money on the windows, we gave to wait to catch up in our budget to be able to replace these bushes.

Description of Work: REPLACED ROTTEN WINDOW COMPONENTS ON ONE OF OUR UPSTAIRS WINDOWS, INCLUDING FRAME AND HALF-ROUND. THE HALF-ROUND HAD TO BE SPECIALLY FABRICATED BY A SUB-CONTRACTOR.
