Description of Work: We needed wood repair on one of our eves due to carpenter bee damage. The work was done promptly and with a good result. The price was reasonable. We would use him again.

Description of Work: This company had been hired to do some inspection repairs on a house before I closed on it. Tim came well recommended by the selling realtor. At closing, I assumed all repairs had been made and visually checked those that I could (I did not climb up on the roof to verify the chimney top work). The biggest concern was the re-connection of a dryer vent duct in the attic. The inspector said that it was disconnected and that in addition to re-connecting, it should be checked to make sure it was metal and not plastic. Upon peeking into the attic, I saw that the vent was re-connected, but I did not go up to see whether it was the right material or not. Further, the inspection report did not specify the clause about it being metal instead of plastic - that was something he told me, and I assumed it would be common knowledge. The reason I'm giving this company a negative review is based on my attempt to hire him to do additional work after I had moved into the house. There were several other small repairs from the inspection report that I wanted to address, so I sent Tim an email in which I listed the repairs and asked whether he'd be willing to do the work. I sent the email on a Wed and received a one-line reply the following Sunday. The reply asked if he could come by on the afternoon of July 4th to look at the repairs to be done. I thought it a little odd that he would request to come on a holiday, but I responded that it would be ok. I made sure not to make any plans during that time on July 4th. Tim never showed up, nor did he communicate with me to cancel or apologize for not keeping the appointment. In fact, I'm writing this review a week and a half later and I still have not heard from him. Because I had a pressing concern with the dryer vent (it was full of lint and a fire hazard), I hired another company to clean that out. They ended up replacing it due to a improper re-connection and because it was made of plastic instead of metal.

Description of Work: This is a great group to work with for general handyman services and painting. They have done a variety of work around my house and are always reliable and affordable.

Description of Work: Originally quoted $1900 to remove a service door from the garage to the house so that a car could be parked into the garage better. When the work started, the owner, Tim, suggested not moving the door but to tear down the platform with stairs and build new steps. Which did lower the price. At the end it worked out better. Also the door was not built properly therefore the door was about to fall off of the wall. Toolings Around reset the door and nailed it securely. Thanks Tim.
