Tooling Around LLC

Tooling around was hired to make repairs via the home inspection repair list. We are the home buyers and did not pay for these repairs just for clarification. They were tasked with repairing dry wall in various places and I have to say their quality leaves a lot to be desired. They removed a doggie door and it looked great. All other drywall repairs in the garage were terrible. Not properly taped and mudded, no sanding of any kind. They installed a door that wasn't hung properly so you need to lift every time you close it. Overall I would not recommend.

Poor quality workmanship of drywall and painting. Had to spend time and additional money to make things as good as possible given the poor quality of work done. Substandard materials. Unprofessional and demanded payment in full before job complete. Would not recommend or rehire.

It went very well. 3 men came out and took care of everything.They did a good job, the price was reasonable and I was pleased with it.

They did a goo job on it. They were diligent and hard working.

Tim was prompt and efficient. Came over on a Saturday morning and was willing to fix my leak even though it meant him being outside in the very cold and icy weather. Not only was he professional he was friendly.

Very well! Great quality work. I needed the repairs done rather quickly as we are putting our home up for sale and they were very accommodating. He uses college kids to help out and they are very well trained. Will definitely use again.

Tim did a great job and came over to help when i was in a pinch. The issue was driving us crazy and he fixed it within hours and we are back to normal.

Work was delayed twice for re-scheduling but on appointment day, worker appeared, although about 1 hour late, and completed all work. Job was done professionally without any surprises.

They coordinated with granite company for prep and installation. All of the work was done with care and excellence.

We were having our porch replaced and found that the faceboard was rotton due to water damage from the decaying porch. They were prompt and even went an extra step to waterproof/seal the new board. We were very satisfied with the job. We would hire them again.

Everything went great and completed within a day. Tim was wonderful to work with and very transparent. Even gave some tips that we needed to do on the house that we have neglected. I would absolutely work with Tooling Around again in the future.

II originally came in contact with Tim when he did some repairs on my house after closing that were left over from the home inspection. He came highly recommended from the seller's realtor. It was hard getting him to commit to a time and then the day before he was supposed to show up, he told me that he had double-booked and needed to move me off to another day. When the day came, he arrived in a hurry and was on mission to get the work done and was not very friendly. He always acts as if in a rush to get off to his next job. After that first mediocre experience, I asked Tim to help with my kitchen; I needed cabinets removed and replaced. Beware when sending Tim emails. He responds with 1 word or only one sentence. He schedules several weeks out and is not flexible. He is a poor communicator and when you ask him questions the day-of that aren't in the original agreed-upon email, he says that he doesn't have time and will have to come back another day. Therefore he is always in a rush and doesn't leave things COMPLETE. He left my kitchen an absolute mess. He patched the wall but left it unsanded. He added baseboards but left the edges rough. He installed a faucet but the cold water didn't have proper pressure. He said that it needed to be looked at further but that he would have to come back another day as he needed to get to his next job site. He always has a nice Mexican-worker with him that he treats horribly; barks orders at him constantly.

I like everything about them. They were great from start to finish.

They do home maintenance, painting and stuff like that. They did a nice job and I was very pleased with them. They did some installing in our new house as we were building it. They also did some remodeling to my fathers house to get it ready for sale. They were highly recommended by our real estate agent and we were very pleased with them. At my fathers they did some painting and plumbing. They did a really nice job and left it clean. I would call the again. The price was very reasonable and punctual. The quality was very nice.

Tim arrived at 7am and was finished before 8am. He's always professional and does a great job. I will always call him first.

Tim was able to help me prepare my house for sale and make some small repairs after the buyer's instruction. He did it in a timely, professional and reasonably priced manner.
