Description of Work: Had them for service contract for a couple years. Every year they would rec. some expensive air cleaner. None of the other heating and cooling service providers ever recommended an 1,000 dollar air cleaner added to our system.

Description of Work: As Seniors we purchase an annual service agreement which covers our furnace, water heater and air conditioner. They schedule appointments for these services and call when on their way. The most recent visit was for the A/C and the $46 was for a new filter. We have also used them for some plumbing issues. We have always been satisfied with their work.

Description of Work: I have been a faithful customer of Summers, subscribing to their contract services after having a heater installed over a year ago. However, a recent transaction has soured my opinion. I needed a kitchen faucet replaced in a rental property, and was charged US$700 for a faucet that I can buy online for less than $200. When I complained about this price their only response was that is what it costs, and would not negotiate any lower price. If I had the time to shop around I would have, but was in a hurry since it was a rental unit. I plan to turn elsewhere for my HVAC/Plumbing needs in the future. $700 for a faucet replacement is ridiculous.

We spoke with (removed member name) a day or two after this job was completed. The tenant was given permission by (removed member name) to pick out the faucet that he wanted. The tenant picked out what he wanted and paid for it. We offered to remove the faucet and replace with something that (removed member name) wanted, but he did not choose to do so. We want our customers to be happy with our work and the decisions that they make. If, it does not work out that way... We offer second opinions or will uninstall/reinstall another item to their liking. Please feel free to contact the office regarding a replacement.
