The technician did his checks in about 5 minutes and was gone. The prognosis was that I had a leak in the outside condenser and needed to replace it. He was professional about it. Overall, the techinican seemed good, I take offense to the billing side of things. I feel as though their prices are not in line with the services performed, and also I feel as though there should be some level of assutrance from their spring tune-up.

Due to a malfunctioning furnace we needed to have it replaced and had Summers replace both the heating and AC systems. What a difference it has made in our home! Summers offered a variety of systems and they were all top of the line. We now have a very efficient system and they also were able to offer rebates. The crew worked all day and part of the next to get everything installed. They were polite, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. We will certainly use them again for maintenance and any other issues.

They are honest, prompt and have good service.

I have had contact with 4 service techs from Summers for hot water tank replacement, humidifier installation, and routine annual service for furnace, A/C, and plumbing. All of them have been professional, knowledgeable, on time, and neat. I will continue to use their services and recommend them.

The HVAC tech was prompt, thorough, courteous, and very professional. He made appropriate recommendations for our heating and cooling needs. We were very impressed with the people we dealt with from this company.

First of all the service representative was not only on time but early. He was very neat, professional and personable. He took the time to answer and explain in depth any questions I had. The person to ask for (if you can do that) is Marshall. I was very pleased with the work that was done and especially the knowledgeable and very pleasant service representative, Marshall.

I am a contract holder with Summers for 3 visits a year. Over the last year I have noticed that they seem to be more focused on selling me additional equipment and wanting to replace things that are not broken. I am inclined to pay someone else to give me a second opinion before just letting them and quot;fixand quot; something.

Summers Representative ...Bill Lohrman visited with my wife and I and he was VERY professional, he explained the pricing, equiptment, and all services they provide after initial installation. We were with another company for over 28 years and was very impressed with the way Bill presented himself and his company and products.

Summers Heating and Cooling are professional, quote reasonable rates and have excellent technicians and service people. We are VERY pleased.

He was in and out in about 1 hour. Great job!

Ryan was easy for appointment with dispatches by phone. Went over and above to always deposit in duct work. Was efficient and explained reasons for added installation.

My home AC unit quit working. A service representative from the Franklin, IN branch came very quickly to my home (which I appreciated) to diagnose the problem. Within 3 minutes, the technician told me that my compressor had failed. My choices were either a new compressor or a whole new unit. My unit is 10 yrs old, so it made more sense to go with new unit. He gave me an estimate of $2100 for a new compressor or $4649 for a new unit. I thanked him and told him I needed some time to think about it. I called a 2nd contractor to get a second opinion (since it is a big $ item), and they came out and also conducted a diagnostic check. Turns out that the unit had a faulty capacitor, of which the Summers technician never even checked. I watched both technicians perform their checks and the Summers technician only check the compressor. The 2nd contractor had it replaced within a day for $100, and the unit has run fine since then. I believe Summers has a capable outfit, but I counted on them to diagnose the problem and they did not.

I am very satisfied with their service. They are very responsive to their customers. My air conditioning went out at 6 pm, then I called them and they arrived at my house at 8pm to begin work. Since I have this service agreement, I was not charged any overtime rate when they came to service my home. All of the technicians are very professional and well-mannered.

Joel showed up when scheduled, wore booties to protect our flooring, completed his work in a timely manner as per the original estimate. Very prompt, courteous and professional. I highly recommend this firm.

I called SUMMERS because a letter promising In writing 54.00 money back if they dont deliver GUARANTEED They sent a service rep. Tony DAmbrosio My A/C is 16 yrs old and never serviced and was running perfect. Tony was here 1 i/2 hrs. Checked inside and out perfect results,nothing needed, no refrigerant required WOW no leaks in 16 yrs. Tony said my A/C was on its LAST LEG Tony wanted to sell a service contract i said no because in my mind,I would go with them rather then take bids A new A/C would cost between 3000.00 and 6000.00 That kind of money I allways TAKE BIDS A RED FLAG came when Tony was disconnecting the presure gauge he was using to test the refrigerant He put on a glove and he was disconnecting the gauge , a big white cloud came out for a second or so , He jerked off his glove like it was hurting his hand and tosed it down The glove was ffozen. we came inside i paid him, he left I did not turn on the A/C for about 5 days Outside temperature was 85% I keep inside at 73% When I did turn on the A/C it ran all night and droped 3% to Inside temp 82 as the day went on , inside was 86% My A/C was straining I shut it off and called NARDCO They hade installed a TRANE hi-efficiency furnace of witch I am well pleased When the Nardco rep Kevin with 22 yrs with NARDCO came he also checked everything The valve caps were loose and he added 2 1/2 lbs of refrigerant So how is my A/C doing When outside was 102 my A/C was 72 inside it would reach 72 and turn off for a while after a while I set 70 then I tryed 69% droped to 69 and held thats a good enough test for SUMMERS LAST LEG assment BY THE WAY when Kevin was disconnecting the presure gauge from the refrigerant I asked him ( dont you ever ware a glove doing the disconnect ???? He answered ( NO once in awhile ill get a little sting but not vary oftin ) ALSO no one accidently FORGETS to tighten VALVE CAPS ALSO ANGIES LIST I noticed 2 nice ads for Summers Are there anney qualifications for adveriisers in your magazine???????

The representative arrived on time. He appeared very knowledgeable and efficient, and looked over the system. He said it would be a waste of money to repair it. He pointed outsome serious problems and that the outside was installed in 1983. The inside unit was even older! I asked him to send me a salesman for an estimate, and he told me that he could do it immediately. The quote seemed reasonable and that I would be in contact at the end of the month, when I had the money. I had intended to pay cash money. The rep said that would be good, and told me, his own words, and quot;Now all I need from you is a trip charge of $49.00. Without thinking I paid him and he left. My problem is the trip charge. For $10.00 more I would have at least received the free gas and no trip charge. I thought that if Summers needed money that much, what other little things would they charge me for down the road, so I decided to purchase my new system from anothe r vendor. I do not want a thing from Summers, but I want them to know that little things mean a lot (Busines 101). I want them to know that although they received $49.00 they lost a $7000.00 contract.

Overall, the staff has been great. However, all this firm wants to do is sell you a new furnance and AC unit. Everytime a different tech comes out. They all say the same thing regardless of the unit. My house is 12 years old. They want me to replace both units.They put some high pressure hype that it will cost more later than to do it now. I will not renew my annual service agreement with them next year!

They checked the system in detail and made recommendations for repair. They tried to sell a service plan for $154, which we declined. We also declined the repairs. When the unit broke down the next month, we called them back to have them come service it, but they said they would charge $89 just to come look at it. We opted to go with Williams Comfort Air instead, and that's who we will use in the future. Williams will not charge a service fee if they performed a tune up and then have to come back to service it later.

The experience went well. I forgot to put the specific window appointment time on my calendar. I made a doctors appointment which I later found conflicted with the window for the Summers visit. Summers was very accommodating in working around the doctors appointment.
