Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling - Noblesville

I have spent countless hours trying to to resolve this. All I want is to have my old unit installed at my Indianapolis house for free. It would have been great if the plumber offered a cheaper alternative than the $1350 unit. I figured I didn't have a choice, but I would have loved to be offered a more affordable option. The unit we have right now didn't even cost this much! I'm giving them an F for how they handled this issue. 8/2/13 Update: After talking to the manager, we finally got the situation resolved. It didn’t hurt when I told them Angie’s List got involved.

They come over once a year for inspection to make sure everything is okay and they don't charge me for that. They were prompt and were quick to get the work done. They were easy to talk to.

They were very reliable and very honest. They did not charge an arm and a leg. They did not tell me we needed more than we really did.

Great experience; total courtesy extended; felt as though we were the only customer for the Summers business.

I had them come out for a tuneup and repair. Dave was great. He fixed a problem I have had for a few years, that a couple other companies couldn't fix and did it in about 5 minutes.He explained everything in an easy to understand way. I would recommend them again.

They are nice but they are very expensive. I had a problem with the furnace because I pay full freight. My son had a friend who is in the business so I had him come out and he gave me a quote and I checked and got a written quote and I said to the other guy if you can meet it you can do the work. They financed all my equipment through GE Capital.

To update: The company did call and schedule for an earlier date which is much more reasonable. Overall they did a good job. .....

I thought the gentleman that came was very professional and knowledgeable. I would use him again definitely. He seemed to take his time and seemed to do the job right. I've had problems with him coming out in the past, where he had to cancel.

I first heard of Summers from a mailing they sent. I have used them since 2011 and have always been very satisfied. All of the service men that have been to our house are friendly and professional. They explain each step they are taking and don't object if you want to stand around and watch them.

They were prompt, showed me the part that needed to be replaced and immediately replace it and it has been working ever since.

It was excellent. They put booties on their shoes and cleaned after themselves. They pretty much do what they say they are going to do for the price they will do it for.

Went quite well. He was informative and effecient.

We have had good experiences with them. If you use them for the tune up, they do a free plumbing inspection, which is great. hey are a little pricey, but their work is great.

They do really good work. I never have any problems with them. I've used them a few times in the past years. They show up on time.

Late on a friday night during a threatening thunderstorm, I noticed that my hot water heater had burst and was flooding the garage. I had a water heater burst a few years prior and it had flloded inside the house, causing major damage. So, I was in a panic when I called the after hours number. The technician on call, Will Rivera called back prompty. He assured me that he would be right over.....which he was. He was very kind and did not make me feel stupid. He also realized that my old water heater was stil lunder warranty, so he was able to apply a discount to the cost of the project. I was very pleased that late on a Friday night, during a storm, that I had a new water heater installed, old one hauled away and treated so kindly all with in 2 1/2 hours.

When they tell you they are coming, they are on time, and they are very efficient. I just like them.

Ever since Bill was here, my furnace has been shaking and the chairs in the family room above the furnace vibrate. Four (4) days later, when I finally realized it was coming from the furnace, I called Bill from the # on the business card he left. I explained what was going on and the problem started right after he was here. He remembered the service call and said the fan was probably out of balance due to his cleaning BUT wanted to charge me a service call to come backout to check it out and fix it. When I told him I was not going to pay for a problem he caused, he told me his work was not guaranteed and he would NOT come without charing me a service charge, and quot;after all, the tuneup actually was just to get new customers and they actually lost money on what they chargedand quot;. Oh, REALLY!! I almost purchased a maintenance agreement with them and boy am I glad I did not. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER do business with this company!! .

They did a great job. I am having them come back out for annual maintenance.

I woke up on Sunday morning to a very cold house as my furnace was not working. I had already scheduled Summers to come out the first of the year for a tune up so I thought it would be best to call them first. In addition, I had a coupon for $50.00 off a service call. I got their emergency service.and was informed that Doug would be contacting me within a half hour. Doug called within the half hour but my furnace had just come on so I cancelled the service. After approximately 2 hours I realized the house was still cold and the temperature had only gone up a few degrees so I contact the emergency service again. Doug called right back indicating he was just getting ready to call me to see how it was doing. He stated he had just finished another job so he would be right over. It turned out my filter was dirty so the air was not getting through it properly. In addition, it was locking out on the limit switch. He made some adjustments and replaced the filter. I realize the service call could have been avoided if I had changed the filter first but I knew I was going to have to pay something for a service call on Sunday. Their regular service price is $89.00 and apparantly they do not charge any additional amount on weekends and holidays. I was very pleased with Doug's service and honesty. He was very friendly in helpful. I would certainly use them again. One of the reasons I used them in the first place, in addition to the coupons, was the piece on the news about the furnace repairmen who were not honest in regards to the needed repairs. Summers was one of the only honest ones.

Dave seemed genuinely concerned in addressing my concerns. He personally came to my home the same day to replace a part at no cost that I was concerned had been damaged by a water leak. This water leak had been caused by a kinked drain line left by a previous Summers technician. I have hired Summers PHand C for several years for heating and cooling maintenance and repairs. I will continue to utilize their services based on this most recent positive experience.

Excellent service. Plumber advised a minor issue with the water heater (need for flushing), however was very honest letting me know that due to the age of the water heater, it could potentially create additional problems. Service on the furnace was performed w/o difficulty and the removal of the humidfier was completed easily. Both the HVAC technician and plumber were very professional, friendly, and provided good advice concerning current or potential needs.

Overall, the installation was completed in one day and everything is working correctly.

Great. Had no problems this past summer which broke all kinds of temperature records. We stayed nice and cool.

They arrived as promised. Spent close to 1 hour. Performed a good service tuneup to our furnace.

A/C service was performed. 2 weeks later my air conditioning stops working. I called around, found someone other than Summer's to come out, and discovered that the Summer's technician had left the valve loose on my unit causing all the coolant to slowly escape. Cost me $70 to recharge, and would have been more had I not claimed it on my home warranty. Instead of refunding me, they gave me a free year of routine service visits. At least it was something in return for my trouble, but I would have preferred a complete refund. Furnace service performed later was fine.
