Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling - Noblesville

I was having a problem with my plumbing. They actually came out in the local newspaper here as the best of plumbing, heating and air conditioning so I had them come. I knew I had to have my furnace and everything cleaned out because of being sick and not being able to take proper care of it. I did have a leak in my plumbing so they came and fixed that. They were extremely good. They were amazingly fantastic from the moment that I called them to let them know what I needed because I've been very ill. They were telling me that they would help me in anyway they could and if there was anything else they could do for me. They were so nice. They were out here within 30 minutes working on it and fixed it for me. The boss called me back because he was going to send out the man to do the furnace and the cleaning of all of that and he did. It was a total A. The boss called me afterwards to make sure everyone had done what I needed and if not he said I will have them right back out there if it's not like YOU want it, not like they wanted it, but what you want it. I thought it was an amazing price because I had paid quite a bit before to have the plumbing worked on and it never worked right and it cost me more money. I was never leastly concerned from having a strange man come into my house and do that work. I was totally comfortable because before they ever come through the door there standing there introducing there selves and handing me the paper with the boss' number on it if I need to call him or anything. That has not always happened with somebody here since I live alone. Would absolutely use them in the future.

I used them for my heating, cooling, and plumbing. They did a good job. I always buy their plan that includes an air conditioner and heater tune up, plumbing tune up, and water heater flush. They offer a customer loyalty program that puts you first if there is an emergency call. They're always very responsive.

My wife has primarily worked with them and has been very satisfied. Their response has always been phenomenal. They are very easy to work with and do a great job presenting and explaining things.

Charged me $215.00 to complete this task after they charged me over $300.00 an hour to replace a part that was under warrenty. and clean the furnace on 11/06/14. $913.00 for 3 hours of service. This will be my last service by Summers.

I have been using the company for 8-10 years. The staff is professional and always do good work. Their pricing is competitive. About 6-7 years ago they installed an new heat pump and furnace. They also installed a new water heater about 3 years ago. They have an emergency service for you to call at any time for help.

Summers immediately came out when I told them that the heat in our mother-in-law quarters wasn't working. Brad informed me that previous repairs I had done last winter by another company was not up to code. Brad also let me know that our best option was to replace the entire unit. Summers was able to come two days later to install the new unit. Brad sold us a Lennox furnace for $5195, new air conditioning unit $4716 and Dial fuel add on for $900. The total was $10811.00. This comes with manufacturers warranty and a one year and 3 visits from Summers for the new unit. The workers arrived on time and worked in a professional and timely manner. The unit has only been here for a few days, but so far so good. My only issue would be that Summers should consider deducting the cost paid for the intitial diagnosis when the customer buys an entire unit from them. Overall they did a great job.

This was my first time using the company, and everything went well. They were pleasant and professional on the phone, the technician showed up promptly and called ahead of his arrival, and he cleaned up after finishing the service. The price was competitive, too.

Their services have gone very well. I have used them about 6 times. The company is very professional, nice and knowledgeable. I really trust them for good service. We also purchased a service package with the company. I have never had an issue getting the company out for a service.

James was professional and was great at determining our needs. Price was the only reason we did not select Summers, and they worked very hard to quote the best possible price.

They are always on time and call ahead about the appointments. They explain what they have done in the appointments to us. I have been using them for about 5 years now.

We have been very satisfied with Summers. Although they can be a bit pricey upon installation, they are consistently good to work with and we are happy with their products, their work and their people.

Received a call when technician was on his way. Upon arrival he quickly accessed the situation and gave a quote for the services he was going to perform. He was in and out within 45 minutes. Very professional, very efficient. I would definitely recommend this company.

I have never had a bad experience with Summers. They are on time, always call, always curteous, and always explain things very well. They provide different options for a solution and work with you on what you want to do. They are always quick with service when something has gone out or isn't working. I will continue to use in the future and would recommend to family and friends.

I had a bad experience with them. They ripped me off. They were supposed to do a plumbing job for my heating and air conditioning system that needed some repair, they needed also to repair some plumbing issues. They come out twice and both times over charged me.

Received phone call that the technician was on his way and would be here in 20-30 minutes. I always appreciate the heads up on when they are coming especially when a company gives you a window of time and you are waiting on them. Did clean up of air conditioner, filters, etc. We have a maintenance agreement with the company to do Spring and Winter maintenance every year. They have always been punctual, friendly and professional.

I was referred to Summer's Pand H with a strong personal-use reference from the company doing our windows. I looked on Angie's List and found A-B ratings. Normally, without other reference, I'd probably move one to a higher-rated provider. However, I decided to call them. Phone was answered professionally, and I was offered a flexible timeframe for that afternoon. Same-day service for a non-emergency call - impressive. Bryan showed up on time, knew instantly what the problem was, quoted the cost (more than I expected, but I haven't needed a plumber in a long time). Gave the go-ahead and a half hour later he was done and cleaned up. He showed me where the leak was, and more importantly, told me how to prevent it in the future: Don't leave a hose connected to the faucet over the winter, EVEN if it is inside the garage, in a wall connected to the heated part of the house. There's a built-in seepage in these faucets, and they need to drain. Keeping a hose connected prevents the seepage, the water can collect, freeze and... cost you over $400! Lesson learned.

My outside faucet has leaked off and on for years. I've had several temporary fixes, but after the faucet began to leak even when I wasn't using it, serious work had to be done on the pipes. This is not easy at my home because access to them is through a crawl space which is literally a crawl space. Dustin braved that dark, claustrophobic space to fix my leak — without even somebody to back him up. it's been wonderful to use my hose again without worrying about how much water I'm losing to a leak.

Went well--only issue was the tech was a about 30 minutes off from arrival time. May have gotten stuck in traffic. Was given a window when the tune up was scheduled and received a call giving us a 30 min head's up which turned out to be more like an hour. Had purchased service plan and this was the cooling portion of that.

Having worked in the Heating and cooling area 15 years in the 60's and 70's ,I had already found the exhaust motor to be defective when I called for service via my contract with them. As it was well below freezing I didn't want to take the time to find a motor and the time to replace it . The tech came out and verified that the motor was bad and that a new motor was around $500.00 . As the house was cooling down fairly quick , I told him to go ahead and replace it thinking his off the cuff estimate might be on the high side to be safe. He left to acquire a new motor and came back and replaced it , after getting the furnace running he gave me a bill for $546.00 which I paid although I felt it was outrageously high. He listed the fan motor cost as $621.00 and after getting my contract discount the bill came to $546.00 ! I later checked prices of the motor on the inner net and found I could purchase the same complete model fan new at Grainger's for $216.00. Having increased the price 250% I think that is ripping people off. I wrote them 2 letters via their web site telling them to cancel my contract and don't ever come back. Never heard from them!

They are reasonably priced and we get a Summer's client discount for all services at this point including maintenance. They are prompt, little pressure, and they educate us on all possible ways to solve our problem. We have not had any trouble; we have not had any issues with their installation or services.

I picked this provider before I joined Angie's List. Technician came to the house, was very friendly and seemed knowlegable. When he was leaving told me that 3 of my four heat pumps were very inefficient and should be replaced to lower my electric bills. It seemed sketchy, but I had only owned the home for a year. I asked him to email all of his recommendations and the replacement units that he was recommending to my husband so we could discuss it. We never received a follow up email. I felt as though the entire service call was sketchy. I joined Angie's List and called Plumbing Heating Paramedics to come out and re-look at my heat pumps for a second opinion. The tech from Paramedics brought down all of the air filters that had not been cleaned and cleaned them in my laundry room where I could see what he was doing. He told me all of my heat pumps were under 6 years old and that they were all very efficient and needed nothing but to be cleaned and serviced twice a year. Instead of $15,000 per unit to replace each unit that Summers suggested, he recommended a service plan for $450 per year.

The maintenance charges are included in the maintenance fee that I pay monthly. All of the maintenance work is done and it's included in the fee. I will absolutely use them again in the future.

Everything turned out very well. Summer's technicians were timely, provided very helpful information, and did a good job with both installations for a reasonable price. Ultimately, they made a potentially stressful situation go smoothly and efficiently.

They arrived very promptly within hours of my call for help (no heat). The service tech was friendly and immediately helpful. The repair was done quickly and the heat pump restored to working order. I purchased the maintenance agreement that was less expensive than previous providers I'd used, for check-ups to the AC and Furnace going forward (2 times per year maintenance). The service agreement provides discounts as well as an inhome free plumbing inspecation as well that I will schedule in the future and take advantage of to be sure I have not leaks. I was very happy with their service and knowledge of my heat pump, propane furnace back-up system and would recommend that others give them a call if you need service. Their office called me to let me know the tech was on the way so that I could be ready; that call and their tech, and the office staff made this service call very professional and efficient for me personally!
