 + -1 moreResponded quickly to come out and look - sump was working, appeared line clogged and broken outside. Dug a hole to see sump discharge, Left hole open outside, couldn't come back for 3 days to repair. When they came back they said they couldn't fix it, so ran a line above ground and told me to call a landscaper and maybe they could do the work. I've gone to another plumbing company to get the work done. Would have been good to know up front that they didn't do any digging and I would have gotten the right people the first time.
Description of Work: Asked to check sump pump, appeared to be cycling on/off continuously.

 + -1 moreThey were very easy to work with. They were patient as we worked through our tub, surround and fixture options (finally purchased through them). It was easy to schedule the work times through Josh. They even were willing to make a third trip back for finish work after a cabinetry problem (not on their account). It took a little longer than expected for the special order materials to come in. Also, they will remove but not haul away the old fixtures -- probably not uncommon, but should plan on this as an added expense.
Description of Work: Schuler was main contractor on our bathroom remodel. They took out and replaced tub, surround, fixtures, toilet. They also replaced the water lines from the basement to the second floor.

Description of Work: We had a flood in our basement that went undetected for several weeks because we were out of town. We contacted Schuler Plumbing as soon as we became aware of the flood. The company immediately sent a plumber to: 1. Drain the water from the basement 2. Replace the sump pump 3. Dry the water heater and replace the igniter

Description of Work: I called Shuler Plumbing on the advice of a relative and based on Angies List ratings. They were to come out and prepare an estimate for the plumbing work needed on 9/4/12. A man came out and I showed him three different projects that needed work. I estimate that these projects in total would cost over $1,000. He said that they would get back to me with the estimate. On 9/17 I called and indicated that I had not yet received an estimate. The man transferred me to "Josh" who took down my name, address and phone number. And that was the last that I have heard from this firm.

 + -1 moreCalled on a Thursday for service on Friday. Water heater was not working. They said I would receive a call between 7-8 Friday morning to tell me what time they would be there. I didn't hear from them by 8:30 so I called them. I was told they "might" be able to come out but they couldn't guarantee it. They would know that afternoon if they could get to me. This left me going into a holiday weekend with no hot water. I called another plumber and was told they were busy but would definitely fit me in that day.

They installed a new cast iron sink, faucet and garbage disposal and did a very professional job. They were punctual and cleaned up after the job. What we like most is they are very friendly but do know their job. We will use them again for any plumbing issue in our house and would recommend them very highly!!

 + -1 moreMake sure you have an hour of work or close to that for them to do. They charge for a minimum of one hour of time. This was not a problem for me because I had enough items.
Description of Work: I had Kenny come out for pipes under a sink that looked like they were disintegrating, and to check toilets that seemed to run too much or not fill quickly enough. Kenny found that the pipes only needed cleaning. Some spa chemicals had caused the corrosion. He cleaned the pipes some and instructed me on how to clean them safely. He checked the toilets and found that one needed a new fill valve and the other a new flapper. The charges for these parts were reasonable. Kenny is very nice and honest in his work. I will always ask for him.

 + -1 moreIt was under warranty and they charged $300 for installation. They were nice about helping me about the water heater as it was under warranty. They are very prompt about calling me back and they come when they say they are going to come. I think that they are little bit expensive but I have used them for a long time and I have always been happy with their service, so it's worth it to me. I think that they are little bit higher than other people but it's just a sort of an uneducated guess because I have used them but they have done other works for me and it's always been good. So I just use them.

Description of Work: They fixed a broken shower handle and did it very promptly. The new shower handle turns much more easily than the old one. We also used this company fairly recently to fix our kitchen faucet. They came the first time and immediately diagnosed that the internal hose was leaking and needed to be replaced. They let us know that Delta would send us a free replacement part. They did not charge us the first time but only when they came out subsequently and installed the new hose.

 + 0 moreWe were very pleased with the prompt service. This is the second time we have called them since moving into this home about one year ago. The previous time resulted in the replacement of the water softener which cured the problem.
Description of Work: Our water heater began leaking one evening. We called Schuler Plumbing and were directed to an emergency messaging system since it was after business hours. Thought they called us back in about 30 minutes, they kept apologizing for not doing so sooner. The gentleman assured me that what I had done to control the situation was adquate to last until the next morning when they could get there. He did say he could come that evening but it would save me $150 if we could last without hot water till the following day. I appreciated that. He arrived on time the next morning with a replacement heater and accomplished the task in short order taking care not to damage anything bringing in new and taking out the old heaters. He even showed me how to install a water filter I had recently purchased. Again I appreciated that.

 + -1 moreWe are in the middle of remodeling our master bathroom. The general contractor had just installed our dual shower heads and body sprayers. Later that night we realized we had no hot water, but our tankless water was still working. I spent about 45 minutes trying to figure out the problem. The next day the general contractor tried to figure it out. The general contractor called Schuler Plumbing late friday afternoon. The technician arrived 30 - 45 minutes later. He figured out the new shower fixtures did not contain master cartridges. Apparently they are supposed to come from the factory with them. Thanks to there speedy service we had hot water !
