We purchased Phase 1's Big Deal to have our our electrical panel grounding system checked out. Tom the owner called ahead to let us know he was coming. He showed up right on time. It turned out the system wasn't up to code for the inside portion. Tom corrected it. The outside portion was good as it was connected to a ground rod. It was nice to deal with the owner of a small company.

He attempted to put up a ceiling fan for me (I could not find the correct downrod) but he also quoted me on re-wiring an outlet on our porch. He was punctual and professional and went above and beyond what was expected. The work was performed efficiently and they even watched my dog while I went to the store to try to get a different part. Thank you so much! I would definitely use Tom again...

They were on time, and cleaned up. They were excellent. Very nice, very personable, and they showed me a few things. Five thousand stars!

Tom was great! We bought his big deal because we've been looking for an electrician. It was an added bonus that he's a locally-owned company. He was quick to respond, and the appointment was set for just 5 days after we bought the big deal. It turns out our concerns were more user errors, but we did a walkthrough of our home, and got some ideas for the future. We'll definitely use Tom's company again!

Tom seemed very knowledgeable, I will use him again and see how the work holds. I was please to find a local individual who gave me confidence in his work. I managed large buildings for years and have been very disappointed with several individuals who have come out in the past. Some have been special deals from Angie's list.

Diagnosed the issue & solved the problem right away!

Tom was prompt, diagnosed the problem, replaced the photo cell, and was gone in short order. Tom is friendly, personable and offers good service.

Tom McNitt was very punctual & very professional. I appreciated that he was considerate & wore shoe covers in the house. First Tom wanted to know if I had any concerns or problems regarding our electricity. I knew of two problems: 1) faulty 3-way switch in master bath & 2) Faulty switch in kitchen. These two problems were fixed w/o charge! During the house check Tom discovered that one of our electrical panels was charred & 3 of the panel wires also showed signs of burning, Tom expressed concern for our safety - I did too! I called him the next morning to have panel A replaced. Fortunately, Tom was able to reschedule his day & completed all the necessary work at our house that day! I would definitely use Tom McNitt - Phase 1 Electric - again should an electrical situation arise. I would also highly recommend him as an electrition to all my friends & neighbors! (Tom was also very good with our jumping & BARKING dog!)

Called and said he would be a little later than scheduled, replaced the light fixture, moved the furniture back to its original place. Very friendly, neat and professional.

We were very happy with the service and professionalism. Phase 1 Electric was able to come out on the same day that we called and stayed into the evening to fix our issue under our tight deadline.

Not only was he one of the professional people I have had the pleasure to work with, He tells you the problem quotes a price and then does what he says he'll do, for what he said it would cost. This kind of workmanship / and pride in a job well done is NOT the norm in today's market place. There were no hidden expenses, No trip fees, just a fine young man who takes pride in his work.We will always call Phase 1 for any electrical problem in the future....... The entire job was great start to finish. I have a crazy schedule and this electrician came at the end of my day and on weekends so that I could avoid taking time off work. He was very conscientious and took extra safety precautions as he knew that I was afraid of potential fire hazards from the original work I had done. He was prompt, courteous, and straightforward with what was going on and what I could expect. He showed me what he was doing every step of the way so that I would understand all the processes. Due to the extent of his repair, some drywall and ceiling needed to be removed in order to access the wires. He recommended a drywall person for me because I didn't have anyone to call. He worked the entire time he was here. His estimate was exactly the amount he charged. There were no surprises. I would call him again and will recommend him to friends who may ask.

- worked quickly - very organized - receptive to my needs & wants - suggested additional solutions The Phase 1 electrician, Tom, showed up on time to put up my ceiling fans. I was worried that having to put up multiple fans would take longer than it did. Tom worked quickly and he was organized & kept things clean while working. I hadn't had time to move the boxes to the rooms I wanted them to be installed, Tom not only moved each one to the room, he also opened the boxes, broke them down when done, and placed the trash in my trash bins. I am very happy with the service and price (was reasonable based on research I did) and would use Phase 1 again.
