Phase 1 Electrical

We hired Phase 1 Electric to add lighting to 3 bedrooms and living room that did not have any ceiling lights. In addition, they upgraded all existing lighting to recessed canless LED lighting, hung a chandelier, install 2 ceiling fans, and added an outlet to wall mount our TV. The project went very smooth, great communication, workers were very friendly and polite, and most importantly everything looks and works great! Would definitely hire them again!

Tom came out the same day I requested a quote from online. He was very professional and gave us a great price for what needed to be done. One of his guys came out and installed the light a few days later and did an amazing job. Would definitely hire again.

Tom responded to my request through Angie's List in less than one minute, came out the following morning (exactly on time), immediately identified the problems, fixed it, cleaned up after himself, and even changed a light bulb for me. I would ABSOLUTELY hire him again.

I initially called Phase 1 to come out and install an outlet for an OTR Microwave. When the technician arrived he stated that I needed to upgrade to 200 amp service to complete the initial request. I obliged. The technician performed the upgrade and installed the microwave over the next two days. While he was there we also had our coach lights rewired, a ceiling light installed and asked for our switches and outlets to be replaced. This is when the trouble started. The tech (Chad) only changed about 20% of the switches, left a lot of trash in the garage and didn’t label the new panel. I asked for him to come back and complete the work which they did nearly a week later, but when I returned home the switches were still not done. I had to again ask for them to come back. He carme back again and changed 2 more leaving 7 total left. They are wanting to charge me to come back out so I have to have another company come in and complete the work.

Great. Tom responded to my email right away on a Thursday and came out on Monday. Demo'd an old electrical box and installed 2 GFCIs in our garage.

It's provided a much better result and our children are happier playing down there with more light.

Tom did quite a few things around the house because our builder did a horrible job at the electrical work. I was very pleased with Tom at first - professional, reasonable, and finished the job quickly. I have two problems - his crew or the dry wall crew he worked with stripped my brand new elliptical machine power cord because it got dragged and no one has replaced it. The other is he installed 43 LED lights in my house and realized he put in non dimmable lights where the dimmable ones should be, which is most of the house. This causes all my lights to flicker. Embarrassing when company stays over and not to mention just annoying. I also have three employees who work at my house and the office lights flicker. He appologizes all the time yet it has been since January we have been talking about this. First it was they were on back order. I called Home Depot with his order number and they said it was in stock. I told him this and still have not heard. I really want to believe in Tom because of the great reviews and his kind words but he makes it hard when the follow through to make things right is just not there.

Inspection of lost power on one circuit. He patched things up as best as possible, but recommended a new electrical panel to handle the larger load. I have not done the new panel yet.

Contractor came in, diagnosed the problem & fixed the issue.

Tom was right on time, professional, and respectful. He did a great job and was super fast! His price was reasonable as well. Would definitely have him back to do more work in the future.

Tom fixed an electrical socket in our old house that had never worked since we've owned the place. He was very prompt and professional. He took a look at a few other things while he was there too. I've rarely had to use an electrician as my dad is very handy and is usually able to fix most electrical issues, but he couldn't figure this one out. I was afraid it would cost a fortune to get the plug working, so I was pleased when it was very affordable. Tom is now in my cell phone in case any other electrical issues arise.

Some of my lights were out/not working and no matter how many times I checked the corresponding breaker the lights did not work. I checked on Angies list and chose Phase One Electric. They responed quickly to my phone call. They were great. Professional and friendly. They found and fixed the problem [ a bad breaker ] . I would definitely call them again.

He was very patient and thorough in detecting and fixing our problem.

I had some issues with several different GFCI outlets that kept blowing their fuse but were on 2 different circuts with nothing plugged into either one. Tom came out to my house and arrived just a few minutes before the scheduled time. He was very nice and professional. He inspected each outlet and couldn't find anything wrong with any of them. Told me that he could do a full line inspection but other than not finding anything wrong had no "real" reason to do so and it would be costly. So instead he recommended that I simply replace the outlets, offered a great deal of doing them for me but also mentioned that I could do it myself if I was "mechanically inclined". I opted to do it myself so he quickly showed me the differences between a GFCI and a normal outlet change out. He said that I could give him a call if I had any issues or if they continued to have issues after the outlets were changed. Since he was only there for about 10 minutes he decided to not charge me for that call, which was very nice and unnecessary. I would 100% use him again and recommend him to anyone.

Bought the deal of the day on Angies list. Was contacted quickly with an appointment. The job was scheduled and completeed in a timely manner. Very professional.

Originally purchased the Big Deal for one hour's worth of services. Received a response within one business day and we were able to schedule an appointment within two weeks. The electrician was on-time and very friendly. He evaluated the problem and was able to replace a faulty sensor. Most impressive was that he had the replacement part with him and was able to replace it on his first visit. I had inquired what the charge would be to install an interior ceiling fan. He quoted me a reasonable price and was able to complete it in the same visit. Overall, I was very impressed with the professionalism and service of Phase 1 Electric and will definitely use them again should the need arise.

He was very prompt in responding to my messages. The outdoor lights are on a sensor and unfortunately the bulbs were bad, so the lights did not come on the night after he installed them. But he came back the day after I let him know and fixed them. They now work great!

Tom was very friendly and efficient! I bought the big deal and it was definitely worth it. I will be calling him when we get a new foyer chandelier that will need installed!
