John Mitchell Moving/Two Guys & A Truck

They arrived promptly and were ready to start. They walked through the house to see what furniture and boxes where in each room. They explained everything before they started and reviewed it at the end. Everything that was taken apart at the old house was re-assembled perfectly at the new house. All of them were courteous and professional even with the hot humid day it was. Even though the original quote was for a certain amount of time they finished early and only billed me for what was used. I would use them again and have already referred them to others.

We made an appointment for 06/27/14 for Shawn to come out for an estimate on packing and moving my brothers things. I told them that no one was living there at this time and an appointment was the only way for us to do move. We needed the move to be done between the 5th to the 9th of July. He said he had some of those dates open and they could do it. I arrive about ten minutes before the appointment time packed in front of the door to my brother apartment. No one come, so I called their office to find out that Shawn had came earlier in date and had left his card. That the date we were looking to move we're not available, they had not been available for weeks. He laid about everything. The office person asked if he could call me back. Told her not he would just lay again, there was not that either of them could do to help me with this. I told I hope you can sleep at night!

Discount is not great $25 off $100, but the bill was $600. Getting $25 off is not a great deal.

I had previously used Two Guys and a Truck for my first move from a house to an apartment in March. That experience went pretty well. One bookcase was slightly damaged by a new crew member, but Two Guys and and Truck had a man come out and repair the problem and I cannot tell where the damage occurred - it was as good as new. I asked for a different crew for the second move and they sent one of their most experienced. Marc and the guys were great - the only issue is that they were a couple of hours late due to an issue with a morning move. They were supposed to arrive "around noon" and arrived at 2:00. However, they were extremely professional and knowledgeable. There was no damage to any piece of furniture and no nicks or bumps on any wall of my brand new house. Marc even gave me tips on how to repair a couple of my pieces that had wear and tear on them from my use. All in all an excellent experience. I would use them again.

Angie's List Big Deal. Movers showed up right on time. A lot of my stuff was in storage, so the move was relatively light. They wasted no time loading truck, getting to destination, and unloading truck within the alloted time frame. I was happy with the service, and would use them again.

The move went quick and there wasn't anything they could have done better. I have never had a bad experience with this company. They are the only movers I will recommend.

The five guys showed up on time and I explained how I had marked and color coded everything. We had over 3500 books to move and the guys were great about it. They moved everything from our house, garage, backyard storage barn and offsite 10' x 20' storage unit. It took the guys about 11 hours and 4 truck loads. They were very professional, great to work with and by the end of the day we felt like they were part of the family. Nothing was damaged and the walls in the new home looked great after they left. Only a couple of finger prints. They were so careful with everything. I would advise anyone moving to use John Mitchell Moving Two Guys and a Truck. THEY WERE GREAT!!!

Everyone with this company were wonderful, starting with Bob Johnson who came to the house, gave an estimate, and scheduled the move. The three men, Timbo, Gary, and Danny, who did the moving, couldn't have been nicer or done a better job. They were on time, cheerful, and careful moving everything. There was no damage to anything. They made sure that everything was placed where I wanted it, and that I was happy with everything.

These guys were awesome and I would recommend them to any of my friends or family members!!

They were wonderful! They ended up coming with 3 people, they were in and out quicker than anticipated, which meant we were charged less. They were professional. I would recommend them to everybody.

They were on time, efficient, and provided great service getting all my stuff to Indy safely. The guys on the truck were polite and they were organized and had a system to quickly move items without damaging them.

They were on time (they actually came a little early when we hired them last summer at my request) and ready to work. Great work ethic and very efficient . Took care with doorways/staircases, etc. as well as all the furniture they moved. Both moves were below the estimated time and budget. Totally worth the cost. Would not hesitate to hire them again. No damage to any furniture or the apartment or house. Took extra care with a newly poured driveway.

On moving day, Timbo, Gary and Marzell arrived early, and worked hard at getting the move accomplished. They were very efficient, friendly and conscientious the entire day. They moved several large and heavy pieces and never complained, just kept on going. The move went very smoothly, and couldn't have been a better experience. They finished earlier than expected, and the actual expense came in less than the estimate, which was also a pleasant surprise. I would highly recommend John Mitchell moving!

We were very pleased with this provider. From the initial contact/estimate/scheduling to the actual move in everyone we dealt with was pleasant and professional. Movers showed up promptly, loaded and unloaded carefully and made sure we were pleased with everything before we left. AparThe move took about 3 1/2 hours and cost about $450 which we thought was very fair.

Two Guys and a Truck did an AWESOME job! Moving is stressful. We had our own 26 ft U haul full and 2 of their trucks. They loaded and unloaded in a timely manner and even finished an hour early. They asked us where every piece went in the new house. Not 1 thing was damaged! Bob Johnson came out ahead of time and gave me an accurate estimate. We had 5 guys and they WORKED! I can not say enough good things about them!

The guys showed up on time and ready to work. I did have everything prepped and ready to go, once the guys did an initial walk through they were loading the truck. They took their time and made sure my items were packed properly into the truck. Once everything was packed we were off. Literally the guys had me packed up and unpacked in just under two hours. I would recommend them to anyone. This move was for sure the easiest move I have ever done, just wish I would have hired them to move me the first time!

Tim and D arrived at the storage facility promptly at 8:45. After introducing themselves, they got right to work. Both guys were professional and friendly. They were careful with everything they moved and if they had any questions, they made sure they got answers and understood what we wanted before the acted. I would definitely use this provider again and would also be happy to have Tim and D move things for us again. We also thought the cost was very reasonable - under the price quoted. I was extremely pleased with how well this move went. Tim and Danny could not have been more efficient and courteous. They worked quickly and carefully, and were always friendly and cooperative! I will most definitely be using them again.

That was fine, they charged by the hour and it came out to be more than what we expected. For me, they did more of dis-assembly which is not really necessary. It felt like that it took too long for the amount of furniture that we have. They were good movers, they were friendly, I would recommend them, i thought they were good.

They sent someone over who fixed the scratches and he took the two doors the one that was damaged and the one that wasn’t and took it to the company to have them fixed & finished. When they came back it had put a high shine gloss on top and still had a big dip. I called and asked them to fix the rest of the armoire. I was told they did as much as they could and were able to pay up to 50 cents per pound and could only pay me $40.

Team of 3 showed up to move us out of a rental into our newly built home just about a mile away. Long story short, the estimator that came out was way under on how long he thought the job would take. The guys were there a long time, but I would say they started out well, but one was pretty lazy and the other two worked their tails off. They did do damage to our garage door and front door (did not tell us when it happened, we discovered it after they had left). They were worn out, but complained about the job taking longer than they had expected...not my problem, they need to bring it up with the estimator. Gave us a bad overview for them to be saying that they were only supposed to be there 6 hours and they still had a lot to do. Repairs to the damage were made to satisfaction.

They were outstanding and very professional. I plan on using them for all of our moving needs.

We moved our small furniture by ourselves. Thus, we just need them to move the large furnitures, such as bed, dining table,etc. They are extremely time sensitive and efficient. We had a king size bedroom set in our garage need them to move upstairs. Those are really really heavy. They moved each furniture one by one without taking any extra rest. Amazing. We were quoted for 3 hours. They finished all moving within two hours( acutally 1 hour 40 mintutes). Will definitely recommend them and use them if needed.

They treated the furniture extremely well. They saved me from having serious damage because they noticed there was water damage and improper air conditioning in the storage unit they were moving my stuff into. I was very impressed by them and their caution with my belongings because they did not have to do that. They even gave me a repeat customer coupon.

They were good. I would definitely recommend them. They were clean, neat, quick, and respected all our furniture.
