John Mitchell Moving/Two Guys & A Truck

It was a very organized and smooth move. The movers were all wonderful, careful, respectful and fun also. Overall wonderful experience!

Very well. The trucks arrived on time each day; they had plenty of staff, and staff were friendly, experienced and very careful. Paid great attention to cleanliness, leaving house in good condition. We’re extremely willing to help with a few extras like moving some clothing we had originally didn’t ask them to move. This is our second move with John Mitchell, and we HIGHLY recommend them.

It went very smoothly. Because my mother-in-law was moving from a one-bedroom to a studio apartment, we didn't want to put all of the furniture into her new place. Two Guys and a Truck agreed to help us by moving the excess furniture into a storage unit (at another location). The guys were punctual, friendly, efficient, and considerate. We'll absolutely use this service again if we need movers.

Excellent, just as expected! Three men came and first rolled out a rug/runner from the front door about 20 foot into the living room and covered the front door jam to make sure they did not track in dirt or bump the door jam. Very careful carrying our furniture and very courteous. They were finished loading real quickly and drove straight to our new apartment and even beat me there. Delivery was just as good as pick up. My complements to Todd, Kody and Chris. We would definitely recommend the company and the team who moved us. We moved up the move date twice and they were very accommodating.

The movers did a good job except they ripe the carpet on the step in the basement. I sent pictures to the company and called them several times, the answer I received we will get back to you. They have not responded. Terrible customer service. I would not recommend them if they can't take care of a small problem.

Shawn came out to give us a quote. He was great, very nice, explained everything very clearly. His original quote was 14,000 lbs. Actual weight with another mover was around 7,000 lbs. As a result, they would have required two trucks to move us and was cost prohibitive. We talked through other ideas using pod systems to try to make this work for us. I called back and the lady who I spoke with was not willing to consider these alternatives that Shawn had suggested nor was Shawn willing to get on the phone. If they didn't want to work with me, then I was going to find another option, but because they had been willing upfront, I thought they'd be flexible to consider alternatives. I work in the customer service industry and the way in which I was handled is not good customer service. If it's not a good fit, it's not a good fit, but I don't need to be talked down to or given a hard sell.

From the initial estimate visit through scheduling and the actual move, the entire process went very well. Bob Johnson gave me initial, low pressure estimate and answered all my questions. Office staff were friendly with questions and move date confirmation. Jordan, Gabriel and Brad showed up right on time as planned. Very through, efficient and careful with our belongings. They were very good about communicating with us the entire day. All 3 movers were very professional and friendly throughout the course of the day. They took special care to make sure no belongings got wet on a very rainy day and that no messes were made in either old or new house. Move went better than I could have hoped for.

Very pleased with the moving services provided by Paul, Leo & Christopher. They arrived right on time on packing day and finished fast enough to begin loading. Arrived within minutes of the designated time on moving day and efficiently loaded and moved. The guys were pleasant to work with and very friendly. I definitely reccommend

It went very well. There were two men that were at the house at 9 AM and they were very professional and courteous. We hired them to move our heavy items for us to our new home. They took extra care to put down mats and protective coverings along floors and doorways they set up our bedroom furniture for us and they were just great it was one of the best things that we have spent money on your a while. Thank you John Mitchell for the great staff that you have. We would hire them again if needed .

This experience was flawless from start to finish. From the immediate response I received when I first contacted the company to the actual moving process, everything went off without a hitch and couldn't have been easier or more pleasant. Ann and Marty, in the office, were always so nice, cheerful and accommodating and the two gentlemen who moved the furnishings, Jordan and Gabriel, were courteous and efficient. I couldn't have been more pleased and won't hesitate to recommend this company when an opportunity to do so arises.

The three young men from John Mitchell Moving were outstanding. They went above and beyond to make sure our move was perfect.

The guys, Jordan, Thomas and Bryan, were great. They were actually early. They worked constantly once they arrived. They were courteous, careful and quick. I actually had them move furniture around for me after it had already been set. Charges were very reasonable and we actually got a discount because our family had used them before. Will always call them for our moving needs.

The crew arrived not just on time, but early! They did a great job loading and unloading and took every precaution to avoid damage to either property or our possessions. Everything made it to the new house unscathed. Good communication and friendly service at a fair price.

It was a tough job as it was a hot and humid day and we had three movers. At the condo end where we moved to we were on the third and fourth floors, which they complained about. When I placed the order the person even looked at the building online and said “we move to apartments all the time”. The movers scratched several pieces of furniture and nicked the walls. Floors were also scratched. Just not a great job. I would not recommend nor use again.

It was great! These four guys spent two days moving me from central Indiana to northern Indiana and they were awesome! They are very professional and really take good care of your furniture. I will hire them again if I ever move again! Thanks Two Guys!

The whole process went effortlessly and seamlessly. The workers were careful and efficient. All my property made it to the destination in the same condition they were in originally.

The crew came before the day of the move to pack the house for me. They did an amazing job. Their were numerous large pictures to pack, lamps, dishes, etc. Great attention was taken to all items. All crew members were courteous.

Amazingly well, Chris, Cody, Nate, Thomas, Marc, and Phil were awesome. Very professional and took great care to avoid damaging any furniture and walls. Hire these folks if you want the move done right, highly recommended.

The movers showed up on time. There were 5 movers - Chris, Marc, Phil, Bill, and Payton. These 5 gentlemen were professional, friendly, courteous, careful, and fast. They completed the move in less time than estimated, and did everything we asked. Our driveway at the new house is steep, and they were careful to get the trucks backed in without scraping the cement. They went out of their way to make sure everything was the way we wanted it. They took great pride in their work and just worked steadily. i did not see anyone looking at their cell phone ever, and they didn't even stop for formal breaks. I cannot vouch for other employees, but I can unequivocally say that if these gentlemen are representative of the rest of the crews, you cannot find anyone better. And, if you are lucky enough to get this crew, you will not be sorry. A plus all the way.

I used Angie's List to select a moving company to move my fiancee into my home. Wow, very impressed from start to finish. We needed a lot of furniture moved not only from one place to another but also we required furniture moved out of our house to basement and garage. They assigned 6 guys, two trucks, and did a fantastic job. They were on time, professional, competitive, and hard working. Also I was impressed how well the work crew worked together, joking with each other as they went throughout their day. I would highly recommend John Mitchell Two Guys and a Truck (not to be confused with the other Two Guys and a Truck) and I would definitely not hesitate to hire again. Well Done!

A very big THANK YOU to our crew--Casey, Tristan & Kody! Moving can be very stressful...BUT, This move with John Mitchell's 2 Men and a Truck was a most enjoyable experience. The crew of 3 showed up ahead of schedule and got right to work. The items to be moved ranged from bedroom furniture to original paintings, to a very heavy Juke Box to an even heavier slab of granite from the top of our dining room server to the heaviest pool table in the free world, to boxes of collectibles and glass lamps. EVERYTHING arrived safely and in tact. The efficiency with the way they go about their work is readily apparent and it's something like watching a ballet, working as a team as they use moving blankets to wrap and protect fragile items and load them safely in their truck and do so with precision. They are courteous, professional and a pleasure to have in our home. If you are looking for a move that eliminates stress and concerns, Hire this company and these professionals with confidence. The team was efficient and prompt. They were friendly and enthusiastic. We had no damage to either home or any furniture. They moved us from a 2 story house with finished basement to a 2 story with a basement. It was completed in 1 day. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!
