John Mitchell Moving/Two Guys & A Truck

Both crews arrived on time and went to work quickly. They didn't take any breaks and the furniture was loaded and ready to go amazingly quickly - including the piano. They arrived at our destination early the next morning, expecting two men from a local piano moving company to be on hand to help with the piano. When they didn't show up, the three men handled the job themselves, no easy task! They were polite and cheerful throughout even though much of the furniture had to come up outside stairs and some of the furniture already there had to be taken downstairs. They were on their way back to Indiana by mid-day. The second crew came a week later to move us from Indy to Noblesville. Different guys but the same positive attitude and work ethic as the first crew. Again, the move took place in record time without a hitch. They also had to make a stop at Wickliff Auction House on their way to Noblesville to drop off some antique furniture, including a huge, heavy corner cupboard. No problem. The office staff are very friendly and helpful. In short, a tedious, tiring process was made much easier and more palatable by these people! We highly recommend them to anyone moving from Indy to anywhere!

The guys were early, but very willing to help. They were friendly and worked very quickly. One guy even helped get my bed frame apart and back together. Best decision of the entire move to hire these guys.

They were a very hard working, courteous, polite, careful and considerate crew - in both packing/loading, moving and placing items where I wanted them placed - both by room as well as where in the room. I was very impressed with them - until they presented the bill to me. There was an un-expected/un-discussed "$150 Trip Charge" added onto the estimated amount we had discussed and then of course it was adjusted for the actual time taken on Saturday. (Approx. estimates discussed during three separate phone conversations, never mentioned any "Trip Charges". That came off to me as a "bait n switch tactic, since they lead me to believe they were based in Indy - and then added on a surprise "trip charge". I was under the assumption they were an Indy company because of the address shown on their AL Profile as Indianapolis, IN. Turns out - they are based in Anderson, IN, if you check their directions but did not disclose that in our conversations either). Aside from the additional add-on "trip charge" (which I will not pay), the actual experience with the movers themselves was excellent. I would highly recommend asking specifically for the Tim/Marzell crew.

Excellent service! They arrived early and completed the job in an hour less than their estimate. Actually three guys (not two) showed up 15 minutes early. They were very respected and careful with my mom's furniture and other items. I would highly recommend them.

From my first contact with the company with Marty on the phone to the two fantastic guys that moved my parents -- Tim and Phil -- this transaction was amazing. Tim and Phil arrived early and wasted no time getting started. I have never seen two harder working guys in my life. They were polite, helpful, and extremely efficient. They even joked a little with my parents, which my parents loved. It was a stressful day for my parents and Tim lightened the mood and put everyone at ease. When we got to the final destination, they had the truck emptied in no time. They set everything up and moved items to different locations with no complaints when I changed my mind a couple of times. I cannot say enough about the top notch job they did. The price was very reasonable, the employees were wonderful, and if I ever need movers again, I am requesting Tim and Phil. Plus, I will be recommending this company to anyone that is moving.

These guys were awesome!! Timothy and Juan showed up promptly at 10:30 as confirmed the day before the move. They were super quick, friendly, and did not mess around. They were professional, and respected my time. I have had bad experiences in the past with movers, but this company is fantastic, and I highly recommend.

Things went well while scheduling our move but we had to postpone the move by one week due to unforseen circumstances. I called the day before the move was to take place and they were already booked for the date we needed. Since the revised move date was not negotiable I had to cancel with them and book with another mover. Unfortunately Two Guys and a Truck kept my $50 deposit saying that I didn't give them 48 hours notice. It would have been nice if they would have let me know that at the time they took my deposit. Just be aware of this policy because the mover I went with (a multiple year Super Service Award winner) does not even charge a deposit!

I can't begin to describe how fantastic these guys are. Hired a 3 man crew to move nearly all of our belongings to our new house. They arrived early, were extremely friendly, and worked very hard and very quick. I told them exactly what plan I wanted to do, and they stuck to it. Had them move all of the big stuff first, then add littler things for the room that was left on the truck. They packed the truck very well so everything was able to fit perfectly. Near the end of the loading, I left to move our storage unit. When I arrived at our new house, roughly an hour and a half later, they had already finished unloading and were waiting for me to get back to pay! They estimated 4-5 hours of total move time, and they got it done in 3! This saved us nearly $200. These guys are seriously great. Extremely friendly crew who worked hard the entire time. Don't even bother calling anywhere else!

This has been the BEST moving company I've ever worked with! I recently moved into my new home and John Mitchell's crew and staff are fabulous to work with! Gary and Vern helped me move this past weekend and they were very professional and efficient. I've never experienced such a pleasurable experience with a moving company. I will definitely be recommending this company to all of my family and friends when they need a moving service!

Fantastic, scheduling was awesome with Anne she is so friendly. The price was spot on, timing was perfect. The guys were very professional and took good care of my belongings. They even helped move a washer and dryer into the basement, which was so helpful as it wasn't part of the original scope of work. They were clean, punctual, and friendly. I would highly recommend this company! They accept all major credit cards as well which is a plus! Thank you!

The movers were very professional. They moved everything very quickly and efficiently and consulted me on where everything went. I called them the day before because of a terrible experience with another moving company and they scheduled me the next day! Great customer service! They boxed everything up and moved everything for us. The move was about 2.5 miles away. I liked that they were very careful with everything. They boxed everything up and put everything where we wanted them in the new home. This was the first time we have used them and we would use them again. The price was less than what was estimated. They followed through with everything they said they would do.

Great! I had some changes to my work schedule and they accommodated the changes on short notice. They were very responsive to our needs. The movers were friendly and careful. It was a cold day and they were very patient. They made more trips than expected and came in under budget.

went quick n smooth. they helped my roommate move his things into his uhual and moved my things into my new apartment. I thought it was pretty expensive and dont understand why they sent such a huge truck when I said I didnt really have a whole bunch. but the lady on the phone said this was the only size truck they used.

What a great company to work with! I would highly recommend these folks. From the first call to schedule our in home estimate. Very professional and kind. The estimate was the same experience. I thought no way this can be this good - something's going to go wrong on moving day. I was (thankfully) wrong. I got a call from the office the night before confirming everything was on track and when to expect to hear from the guys moving us in the morning. I got the call in the morning and the guys showed up on time and ready to work! The team of three that moved us were so fast, efficient and careful. I was impressed from start to finish! He had the best estimate and when I looked at the people who've used him, they were far away from other ones. I don't want to risk any trouble and we didn't have any. They were prompt and has reasonable price. I don't have any damage.
