The service I received was good. There were not really any problems.

This company is awesome and efficient. They showed up on time and very professional. I would recommend them to anyone that needs help with moving. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, the invoice was actually under their quote...by a lot!!!

I didn't end up using them at the end of the day, but they were nice and very knowledgeable. The estimate was knowledgeable, he's a really nice person. I had no complaints about them. I think they're very competitive.

This, by far, was one of the best moving experiences I have ever had. They gave me a courtesy call 30 minutes before arriving (within the scheduled time frame). Gary, Eric and Jd were exceptional. They came in, introduced themselves with a smile and positive attitude. They took great care to make sure the house was protected by wrapping door frames and putting down mattress pads to protect the floor. One of the moves was on the second floor with some larger furniture, but they had tricks to maneuver the large items easily. They could not have been more professional. It was clear they had a lot of experience. The whole move was done in less than 1.5 hours. If you need to move, I would highly recommend this company, and see if you can ask for Eric, Gary and JD. They rocked!

They did an excellent job, including taking good care with some antique furniture that was not in great shape. We will definitively ask for their services when we move everything to our new house.

These guys were AWESOME! They were on time, very professional, worked "very" hard, were polite and lots of fun! Yes, they were "fun"! Lots of energy and positive vibes from the whole crew and I would DEFINITELY hire them again (and probably will when I move out of storage). It took them two days to pack me up and even when they were dead tired putting everything into storage (after 6:30 at night), they were absolutely wonderful and hard working. I know they were exhausted when they were done, but they still had positive attitudes and did a GREAT job! My SINCERE thanks to the whole crew (headed up by Chris) and to John Mitchell Moving for a wonderful experience!!

I love these people. From scheduling with Kay to the guys, Chris, DJ and Eric the experience was amazing. They all went above and beyond to make our move smooth. And, they are problem solvers. Every difficult circumstance just brought out Chris' creative problem solving skills. I would use them again and ask for my 3 guys - Chris, DJ and Eric!

Everyone I interacted with was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The movers were punctual, constantly working, and were never standing around or goofing off. The best part was the actual cost of the service provided was $250 less than what was quoted! I highly recommend this company, and will definitely call them if we move again!

Chris, Mack, Sterling, Alex, and Mike were fantastic. They also loaded our P.O.D.S. 6 months ago, and did a great job. All of the guys are friendly, professional, and top-notch. I highly recommend their services.

Love these people! I used them before when I sold my previous home and had to move everything into storage. Now, 7 weeks later, they moved same items from storage into my new home. Both times, they moved things cautiously so as to not damage recently finished floors and recently painted walls, were efficient and polite. The polite part says a lot since several times I asked them to move the same heavy thing around in the house because I wasn't certain where it would best fit.

The 2 guys were punctual and in fact a bit early. They were friendly and professional and did a great job. The cost was competitive. Highly recommend.

From start to finish, the job was seamless. We had a time crunch and Ann at John Mitchell couldn't have been more accommodating to meet our needs. The move was scheduled within the time frame we needed and the movers arrived on time (actually a little early) and completed the move in a timely manner. They were polite, friendly and very careful with our items. And best of all, the final charge was less than the estimate!

They are professional and friendly. We received a reasonable moving estimate in our home. The moving crew Chris, Stefan and Joshua were on time, pleasant and did an excellent job moving our personal items and heavy furniture. It was a very hot 90 degree day and they worked quickly and efficiently. We are very pleased with the service from John Mitchell Moving/Two Men and A Truck. We would use their services again and recommend this moving company.

The company was excellent to work with throughout the process. Bob Johnson came out more than a month before the move to provide a detailed quote. We had others quote the job and he was by far the most professional. He had already driven by the new address to get a feel for the job and he provided many useful tips during the walk through that helped save me money and make the move more smooth for the movers. They called the day before the move to confirm the start time. We had a great crew the day of the move and they worked hard despite the heat of the August day. I mainly saw them take breaks when they were changing trucks (we needed 3) and they didn't waste time. They were professional, experienced, courteous and careful with our belongings. One relatively inexpensive piece was damaged and they immediately pointed it out to us and offered compensation. They charge by the hour they are working. Our move cost approximately $1200 less than the initial quote...I think mainly because my husband and I were able to disassemble things like beds ahead of time, did all of our own packing and moved some large outdoor furniture ahead of time. We also made sure we knew where things were going so we didn't waste time figuring that out while they were here. Overall, they made a stressful process more pleasant...would definitely use them again!

Three men showed up at the scheduled time and immediately went to work. They were extremely professional throughout the process. They were so focused that they actually finished earlier than the original quoted time. Therefore I was able to save some money, always a plus. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a moving company on the Northside of Indy, Carmel, Fishers and Noblesville. I will use them again on my next move.

Called a few weeks earlier to obtain an over the phone estimate. My move was estimated to take approximately 5.25 hours for a 3 bedroom 1,600 sf two story home. Mentioned I was an Angie member and they had a 10% off coupon. On the day of the move, was called in the morning that movers should arrive between 9:00 to 9:30. However, when 10:00 come, I called the company to get an update. Was told they were finishing up another job and new arrival time was in an hour. I left, to run to the bank to make sure I had some tip money. Luckily my wife stayed home as the truck pulled up 20 minutes later, and my wife was able to get the move started. So our move got off to a bit of a rough start. The 2 of the 3 movers never stopped and worked very hard. The third mover was working at 65 to 75%. I appreciated the mover’s hard work and offered and purchased them lunch. Sadly, we were unable to get everything on the truck, so we had to make a second trip. Luckily the move was a short distance of 3 miles, otherwise the drive time would have added up quickly. The movers did a good job of placing things where they needed to go. When I got the bill at the end of the move, the invoiced matched the 5.25 quote given, even though the move took a bit longer than estimated, given we had to make two trips (actual time was over 6 hours). The movers even offered a 5% discount since they had arrived late. Being satisfied with the move, and the fact the movers charged me for what the original estimate was, I gave the movers a $120 tip in cash. They were very appreciative of the tip. However a few days later, I checked my credit card and was charged more than what the invoice had said. The original invoice was for $848 while I was charged $981. Later that week I received an updated invoice in the mail, charging me more for the additional time the move took. First of all, I was upset they charged my card a different amount then what the invoice stated without my approval or knowledge. Secondly, this would have impacted my decision on the tip amount. When I called the movers for an explanation, they said it’s not uncommon to make a mistake on the invoice, and they get changed. I also mentioned that I should have received a 10% discount for being an Angie's member. The office said they would be happy to apply the 10% discount to my bill. The next week I receive a check in the mail for $44, representing a 5% discount, not the 10%. I called the office again, and they said on the day of the move, we were given 5% already and could only give us 10% total. I told them the 5% was for being late, and was told Sorry, 10% is all we can do. My original estimate was for $780 for a 5.25 hour move, and ultimately was charged $1,015 (before discount) and I paid another $120 in tips. Ultimately the movers did a good job, but disappointed with the office side. I just felt the office could have called before my card was charged a different amount.

The crew arrived on time with all necessary equipment to do the move. Crew members were Tim, James Josh, Phil, Cody, Jermiah and Maurice. They were pleasant to work with and very courteous to me and my wife. They took care of packing and unpacking our property and did so with no damage. They were careful to keep our homes clean and damage free as they moved furniture and boxes out of one house and into another. This is the 5th time I have had movers and they were by far the most pleasant and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this company for a local move.

I packed the boxes (my preference), and they moved rooms of furniture and several boxes from our home to the storage facility. They had done this work prior to allow room to stage our home for sale on the market, so they had to re-arrange the storage unit to accommodate the rest of the items. All three men were terrific. Very professional, careful and yet quick with the work. This is the second time I am hiring them and would definitely do so again in the future.

Completed phase I on schedule and under budget. Workers were hard working and very professional. Would definitely use them again.

They did an amazing job!,not only were they on time, but they were kind, honest, and straight forward with their business and time management. This is my first time using Two Guys and a Truck. I will definitely go back to them again in the future.

Their rep came on 4/13/16 and gave us an estimate to move our belongings from a 1st floor apartment to a single story house. He was very professional. We were told that they would arrive at 9:00 a.m. and that it would take approximately 6.25 hours with three men to perform the work. Rep stated that it was common practice to slightly pad the estimate to cover unforeseen events. We paid the deposit and decided to move as many possessions as possible to the new house leaving only the furniture and approximately 20 boxes for the movers to help, lower the moving cost. My husband called and spoke with the company president about the possibility of a set fee for services. He was informed that the company does not do set fee contracts. The president informed my husband that the job looked as though it could be completed in 4.5 to 5.0 hours. Moving day arrived and we were called and told that the movers would not get there until sometime between 10:30 - 11:30, which was quite frustrating. When they finally showed up, they started by trying to remove a couch from the third bedroom. After one hour, they decided to move other items from the apartment and load the truck and think about how to move the couch later. My husband informed the crew leader that the movers who moved us into our apartment had removed one or more of the couch legs in getting the couch in question into our apartment. It appeared that the crew came to the job site lacking even the basic tools required take furniture apart for removal. After 3 hours, we were told the truck was full and they would have to take the first load over to the new house and come back for the rest of the items, including the above-mentioned couch. We were moving from Carmel to Indianapolis and this was at rush hour. We were stunned but had no choice except to do what they said since the remainder of our furniture was still in the apartment. The unloading at the house went well and I took them back to Carmel on back roads in order to beat the traffic on 31. The rep, on 4/13/16, evaluated the amount of furniture to be moved, but he never mentioned that two trips would be required with us paying for the time required for the extra trip. Upon arrival at the apartment, another person from John Mitchell Moving was there and we waited for someone else to deliver tools to dismantle the legs of the couch. At this time, we were approaching the amount of time it was estimated to totally move us and we still had to remove the couch and the remaining items and make another trip to the house. I was very upset. We are retired, in our late 60's and living on a fixed income. We had worked so hard moving boxes and clothes before the move and now it was going to cost us more than they estimated because they could not figure out how to move a couch out of a room. (This same couch was moved into that room 3.5 years earlier by another moving company and they had no problem.) I could not stand paying $135.00 a hour for 3 people to stand around and watch someone try to take the legs of of the couch. Therefore, I had them start loading up pictures that we had planned to take ourselves. Eventually, they were able to get the couch out of the room and loaded onto the truck. I then told the man who had come to help that I was quite upset with this whole day. I told him that we had moved from a 3 story house to a storage unit for 10 days and then to our new apartment for $$1500.00. I could not see how this move was going to cost me 2/3rds of that. He told me they would adjust the amount of time for the move. After arriving back at the house with the second load of belongings, we were told they could not get the couch into the room we had wanted it to go into. The tools had been taken by the other man when we left the apartment. We did not want to pay for them to try and get the couch in the room and had them leave it out in the garage. When I went to check on the freezer, I noted that it was uneven. Upon inspection of the freezer, I saw that it had been damaged. The area around the compressor had been bent. I told the head man of the moving crew and he noted it on our receipt. We moved on 5/24/16 and have twice called and left messages with them and have yet to hear from their insurance agent. I am very disappointed with this whole experience. I have used Angie's List for years and this is the first time I can say I would not recommend a company I found on the list. Use this company at your own peril.
