All of the staff were amazing. Great communication, prompt arrival for the moving crew and they were all professional, courteous, hard working, and focused on making sure we were happy. Thank you!

Overall, it was great. They finished the work in one day, even though they had to work until 1:30AM. Two of the crew members (out of three) were a bit inexperienced, but they were still courteous and did a great job. The main guy, Bill, was a true professional. All of them were very nice and friendly. Will definitely work with them again.

as soon as they arrived they told me they may not be able to deliver my eliptical to the area I needed it to go. It was very upsetting. I called the office THREE TIMES before someone answered the phone. I had left two messages. I told them I was in an active move and needed to talk to them and she simply said she was busy answering phones. In the end the movers did deliver my eliptical to the area of the home I needed it. The move took 3 hours longer than they had estimated and they NEVER CALLED ME BACK.

They arrived about 15 minutes later than I was told, which really wasn't a problem. They took tour through to see what kind of boxes, etc they needed and how many for each room. They packed most everything. They were very courteous. The thing that bothered me was the fact that they did not use a dolly to help move the heavier boxes and furniture from our apartment to their truck. They actually balanced the furniture on their backs and literally ran from the apartment down the sidewalk and to their truck to load it. i was really afraid one of them would injure themselves. It made me very nervous. Other than that, though, they did a good job.

Erik, Josh, Austin, Tory, Bill and Tylus did a outstanding job. No damage, very professional, finished under the estimate (saved me money) and did all of this amidst pouring rain and miserable weather conditions loading. An outstanding team and company. I used John Mitchell to load the sheds last year which is why I came back for encore. Great company and team.

They show up on time and perform excellent job with good attitude. The price matched the quote and actually less than originally quoted time.

Wow, where do I start? We had moved with them three years earlier and the move went fairly smoothly. It took about 7 hours back in 2014 and the cost was less than $1,000 (even moving around Memorial Day). But this time.... oh, where do I start? When we called the office to schedule, we mentioned that they had moved us 3 years earlier. They said "oh yes", but then when we started talking about the property and the quote, they said that their files were off in archive somewhere. What? So how did they even know we were customers? We got a date scheduled and the quote was $1,200 for 7.5 hours on a Saturday for 2 trucks and 3 guys. We mentioned that we had gotten rid of quite a bit of furniture, including a dining set for 8, so we would definitely have less items on this move than we had on the last. But the quote stayed at that amount. That seemed a little steep, but we trusted them. Mistake! The guys arrived and there was a strong smell of smoke that permeated the house during the move. They had 1 leader, 1 experienced person, 1 rookie, and a brand new guy who didn't really do much but stand around and wait for instruction. He also grabbed a heavy piece and drug it across the wood floor! NOOOOO!!! I said "Stop! You are scratching the floor!" Everything was loaded in just a couple of hours and it didn't even fit one truck. The leader said something about sending the other truck back because it wasn't needed and it was a waste of money. Apparently the office told him to keep it because both trucks showed up at the new house. The forecast called for rain so we were surprised to find that none of our furniture had been protected and they had no way to shield it from rain while bringing it in. In addition, while unloading, the skies opened up. Rain soaked everything, including our leather sofa that they had not protected. The only thing salvaged were the mattresses, but that is only because we had covered them in plastic mattress moving bags from Home Depot before the guys arrived. In addition to soaking a leather couch, they dropped an expensive file cabinet off the back of the truck and it crashed out in our lawn! It was all dented up and covered in grass. A $400 HON lateral cabinet! They tried to pretend it was ok. But the cabinet was clearly damaged and our files were getting soaked. We pulled everything out and they tried to set it on our carpet! Grass, muddy water and all! They said they would take it and get it repaired. The guys also dripped muddy water on our brand new carpet and we had to have it cleaned. The leader wrote down the damaged items and promised that Ann would call us Monday (the next business day). He promised that everything would be fixed soon. So we stupidly went ahead and paid. HUGE MISTAKE - DO NOT PAY THEM IF ANYTHING IS WRONG! We waited and waited, but Ann never called. We tried calling them several times, but they don't actually answer the phone. You just leave a message and they call you back. I also tried contacting them via their web site form. Nothing. We have a damaged couch and no file cabinet. They have our file cabinet. According to law, since we paid, all of our possessions must be giving to us within 14 days of payment. So they are now in violation of a law. We shall see what the Attorney General thinks of this. In the end, they guys were only there 4.5 hours, not 7.5, yet we were charged almost $1,000. I fail to see how 3 less hours warrants only $200 less. I will add some pictures so you can see the proof of when they documented who damaged the items and what the items were. Be careful and look at the reviews on other sites. If I had seen the Google reviews that had a story similar to mine, I definitely would have thought twice about booking them!

Went well. One lamp was broken and I'm waiting to hear back from company but it was just an accident so no fault of movers.

The company told me the movers would be available in the afternoon when I put my deposit down, which is exactly what I wanted. I get a call the day before saying that the movers will now be able to begin the job at 11 am. Still, this is workable. The PODS we hired the movers to unload are to be delivered around 11 am. The day of the move, the movers arrive at 9:30 am; there are no PODS to be unloaded and I get a crappy message from the office manager telling me that I will be charged for this time. I call the mover's office to talk to them. The receptionist is awesome. The office manager on the other hand is of no use. I tried to explain to her that I was told afternoon to begin with, then told 11, no the movers are there at 9:30 am. She basically told me this was my fault and that I would be charged. The manager told me that she have the movers leave and not come back if I didn't like her "solution". All in all, everyone else I dealt with was professional. I would have left a good review, but the office manager obviously doesn't know how to schedule her workers and doesn't know how to provide quality customer service. I will use another company next time.

The in-home estimator (Sean) was professional, friendly, and efficient. He provided me multiple options to accomplish my move. Scheduling was easy. The day of the move was difficult and stressful, however. The crew arrived an hour late due to traffic, which is understandable, but they made no attempt to contact me to inform me of the delay. I had to call the office to confirm they were still coming. Also, they forgot to bring packing paper, which they were supposed to provide. I had to leave my house with them there to go buy supplies for them. After they finished loading, we noticed they forgot to pack everything. I brought these issues up with the crew leader and asked him to help make the situation right, but got no apologies or price adjustment. Finally, once I completed my move, I discovered I had broken dishes. Overall, a very disappointing experience!

I cannot say enough about them. They were responsive, timely, and professional. They did an excellent job moving my furniture. I even had some antiques and nothing was damaged. They were so efficient! They didn't drag their feet at all. They were very rapid and helped me save time and money for the move. They even brought it up! They wanted to save me as much money on the move because I believe they were paid hourly. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Successfully moved from Carmel to Meridian-Kessler in 1 day, but with a few hitches. First off, be very clear about what services you need. There was a misunderstanding (I was partly to blame) and the guys did not show up with any packing boxes I needed, primarily for hanging pictures. I had to run to the store and buy more. I thought they were paid by the hour for whatever you needed them to do, including packing, but I was wrong about that. Read your contract and again, be very clear about what services are needed. Second, they were about 20 minutes late, which started the day off on a stressful note. Probably the biggest reason I didn't give them a higher rating was due to the fact that the foreman (Chris I believe) was not in a good mood at all, didn't seem to care much and actually seemed annoyed when I needed certain items brought up to the 3rd floor of my new place. He set a bad tone for the day. The rest of the crew was great, however. They did bring in a couple of other crew members during the move in which sped things along, so the day ended on a good note. My dining room table got dinged in a couple of spots, which is upsetting, but so far it seems everything else survived undamaged. On balance, I would say the experience with this company was good in some respects, but generally made the day even more stressful than it already was. I will say the receptionist I spoke with to schedule the work was great and quite responsive!

On time and under budget, doesn't get much better that that except it was also damage free.

They arrived earlier than expected, which was great, and they did it in less time than estimated, which was also great because it saved us money! They were polite, professional and hard-working. They did not take a break so they could get their job done ASAP!

AWESOME, completely exceeded our expectations. Gary the crew leader and his team moved us quickly with zero problems. We couldn't have been any more pleased with the move. Please tell the 6 man team that moved us THANKS, they were awesome!!!

They were very good. It took a total of four hours to pack and move. Three guys came out to do the work. They were very professional and very careful with everything that they moved.

The movers were on time. They moved all the furniture with care. Flawless move including a piano and a heavy table that had to be disassembled and put back together. I was very impressed that they were able to complete the move in 3.5 hrs. I would hire Nathan, Eric and Cody again as they were not only hard working but very careful with our furniture, as if it was there own.

From the first phone call for a quote to the final paperwork after the move, this company could not have been more respectful. The quote on the first phone call was exactly what they charged me. No hidden charges. They sent 3 movers. They actually showed up a little early, which was fine with me. They constantly used "m'am" to address me and were very courteous the whole time. They asked questions if they had them, which I preferred instead of assuming. They worked quickly and had no problems taking apart my furniture and putting it back together again. Great service!

The workers were meticulous with our possessions and our home-making no marks on walls or woodwork in either home. They were efficient and very courteous.

They were wonderful. I don't remember how much it cost, but it ended up being less than they quoted me. Because they had to travel too. I thought it was pretty cool. I was surprised by the price. I called a few different places. They're a family owned company and you can tell the difference. It was a big difference between being computerized and talking to people. That made a big difference to me. I had to change a couple of times too because my closing date kept changing. I was very happy. They were really nice. Professional, but it was like I was part of the family. I went to Angie's List, and I've never used Angie's List before and I knew nothing about this area. It helps a lot.

Dylon, Bryce, & JJ from John Mitchell Moving-2 Guys and a Truck were AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME! The good mood was set when they showed up right at 9:00 AM as scheduled. Not only were they punctual they were professional, friendly, and VERY hardworking! I was exhausted just watching them; they never stopped or slowed down. I have a very heavy kidney shaped desk I needed them to place in the upstairs bonus room of my new home. They actually had to hold it over their heads at one point in order to maneuver the stairs and avoid denting the walls. Since I only moved half the furniture from the house they had to remember what I told them to move. They didn't leave any requested furniture behind nor did they take anything by mistake. They handled my furniture as if it belonged to them. They didn't leave any nicks, scrapes or dents in any of the walls or floors while moving furniture out of the old house. They were great about centering furniture and moving it "just an inch to the left" when asked. I have a bedroom set that has been given to me by my friend and I will definitely use this company (I'll be requesting Dylon, Bryce & JJ) for that move as well! A friend was there during the move and she said she will use them herself in the future. When it came time to pay, the final bill came in less than the estimate, which was a nice little surprise. Thanks guys! You were a blessing to me on moving day.

These guys were great and sensitive to my mother's confusion/dementia that she didn't understand why we had to move her. They were quick and a well oiled machine. Couldn't be happier.

They had a guy come out to give us an estimate. Kind of give us some suggestions on how we could reduce the costs. It was nice and professional, didn't damage anything.
