Green Vista Landscaping

I've been using them for around 4 years. Overall, the experience goes well. The price is reasonable. The workers were gentlemen, and they arrived on time and finished the work in a timely manner. After they did the yardwork, they cleaned up nicely, which I was happy with. My neighbor uses them as well, and they are pleased with this company. I'm planning to call them again to plant a shrub for me.

Work was performed as expected. There were no surprises. The job was well documented prior to starting.

It was a great experience working with TJ. He was on top of the whole process the entire project .. from initial visit to post project follow up. He kept me in the loop, was responsive to all questions/issues (of which there have been few), and to top it off is very talented in what he does! I'm thrilled and get lots of compliments on my landscaping.

Have used these guys before. When I called Jeff promptly came out to give me an estimate of the cost. It was very easy to schedule. I did the spring clean up myself and they were very accomodating when I needed an additional week to finish. The guys arrived promptly and quickly spread mulch. They did a nice job, spread it with a good thickness, and cleaned up so it was not on any sidewalks, driveways, or decks.

They were punctual and thorough. He discussed my plans and took the time I needed to my questions.

It went very well. It was strenuous work, and they did very well considering the weather conditions in which they had to operate. I would hire them again.

My experience with Green Vista was great. Jeff is very professional. Since I work during the day he came out in the evening to assess our landscaping. I wanted some shrubs removed and he made excellent suggestions for replacement. He promptly mailed a written quote. We had really let our landscaping go. It was extremely overgrown and the ivy had taken over. Within two weeks all the work was complete. Jeff even handled the phone call to get the yard striped. I am very pleased with the results and would recommend Green Vista.

TJ came out and looked at my old retaining wall, which was bowing out. He explained that he could provide estimates for replacing it with another wooden retaining wall, but that the cost would be only slightly less than replacing it with block and concrete. Due to weather (rain), the job didn't start on time, but once they started, it was completed quite quickly and well. The *only* negative I have is that the grass reseeding on the slope above the wall appeared to be done in a hurry, and did not take well. Other than that, they did a fantastic job, and kept the jobsite clean and uncluttered. I would heartily recommend them for future work.

TJ came to the house, walked around outside to get a feel and take measurements. He asked basic questions about how much maintenance we wanted to perform, colors, specific plants we liked or disliked. He then put together a design plan and estimates broken down by sections e.g., front of house, side of house, back of house. We reviewed the plan and decided to start with the front. We waited until the Fall to do the landscaping. Fall came and we scheduled a start date. Green Vista showed up on the date scheduled on-time. Each day when they finished they cleaned up. Our driveway had never been so clean! It took 3 days to complete. After completion, TJ came by on a weekend to tell us how to care for the plants. You pay in three installments e.g., beginning, middle of project, end of project. All in all it looks great and captures what we like (color and flowers). It made a tremendous difference in the appearance of the house. The Spring blooms will be wonderful.

Excellent job. This company is first rate professionalism. Everyone is meticulous about the job being performed. I've never had any complaints or concerns when I've had landscaping work performed by this company.

The project went great. When I requested the work, Jeff was very upfront and said that they were backed up due to all the wet weather and that it would be 3 weeks or so before they could come out. Exactly 3 weeks later Jeff, his son and another worker showed up at 8:00AM sharp. Since I hadn't given Jeff many details on what I wanted, Jeff gave the guys some brief directions and then told that his two guys were at my disposal for the whole day if I needed them. They listened, did exactly what I asked and were very efficient and polite.

They were out timely, were very neat, and did everything promised.

I have used the company many times and would not use anyone else. They always do more than they con tract to do and for a fair price.

They were really nice and got there when they said they would be. The problem was they did not bring enough soil for all the jobs. I had to go and purchase more to install myself because some of the plants they installed were dying. When I was putting the soil in, I found that the plants were not burried low enough because I could see their roots. Bottom line, they worked with me with the budget, however, I do not think I would use them again.

Very well! Ivy was killed over about 3 weeks and then completely removed in an afternoon.

I was told the bushes would be removed, pulled from the ground. We agreed on which bushes would stay and which ones would be removed. They missed bushes, left stumps above ground, etc. Called them back. They came back out and just cut "most" of the stumps below the ground. There are still stumps above ground. The bushes that were left behind were to be trimmed back. They where more "butchered" back than trimmed back.

I called Jeff and he came out within 2 days. Jeff did a very thorough inspection of work to be done, discussed with us our wants and helped us find the right new stone pavers to install. He also gave us detailed estimates on other work that we will have done this summer. He wokred around our vacation so that we could be there when installation occurred to make sure any questions were addressed. Jeff's team was on time, very friendly and professional and even worked in some not-so-friendly weather to get it done. They made sure to let us inspect when they were done and Jeff followed up with a call. Green Vista did some work for us at our old house in 2002 and I am very glad I looked them up again for this house.

Met with TJ. Discussed issues with muddy walkway to back yard from garage. Decided to create a pavered walkway with space to keep trash containers. TJ came back and outlined the area. They did the work in one day - everything was clean - no trash. Well designed. Just what we wanted.

Overall - Great! We dealt with Jeff, one of the owners. He was professional and you could tell he knew what he was talking about. We interviewed and received quotes from other landscapers from Angie's List, but thought Green Vista was the best fit when it came to professionalism and price. They weren't the cheapest nor where they the most expensive. I did initiate e-mails to Jeff a couple of times to see about the timing of the work, but that is just because I was anxious to get it done. He provided me with his timeline up front so I knew what to expect, but again, I was just anxious to get the work done. Jeff was quick to respond, however, even on a weekend. Their crew was personable, quick and very good. I was told it might be 3 weeks before they could start, but it was done within 2 weeks. They knocked it out over a day and a half and cleaned up after themselves. You could barely tell they were there. We've received a lot of compliments from our neighbors and are proud of our yard! I would definitely use Green Vista again.

The men from Green Vista were polite, on time, and professional. They took the time to walk me through all the new plantings and told me what to expect with each one. They were very good about cleaning up the yard where they had been working for two days. They hosed off all the mud from the porch and sidewalks, planted grass seed (which we hadn't even contracted for!) and really seemed to enjoy the work they do. This is an excellent company, and I plant to hire them to do all our annual mulching / spring yard cleaning.
