I was able to see his work in our neighborhood. I thought that his prices were fair. He came to look at the yard and gave us an estimate. He and his helper did the work in about one day.

They are absolutely excellent. The pricing was as good as I could find. They were a little busy because they are so good. On the bill they had a questionnaire and I told them that they did more than I expected. One of the trees they planted died and they came out and replaced it.

They were great, there was nothing I didn't like. I was under a time constraint and they workd with me and got the job done on time. They were very professional.

They did an excellent job. They were careful and courteous about being around my home and made sure to clean up after themselves. It was a excellent experience and I would use them and recommend them again.

TJ not only had the fastest response time from my initial call to the time he called me back, he was the first one to come out to view the area for the estimate, and the first one to get the estimate to me. The price was right in the money with the other estimate I received (only one of the other two contractors sent me an estimate!) and I was just so impressed with his professional manner, I awarded him the contract. I also had a time limit, as my daughter graduated high school this May and I wanted the work completed before the party. TJ assured me this would be no problem. The crew that came to my house to perform the work was the most polite group of men I've seen in ages. They showed up on time, apologized for not finishing the work in one day (I didn't really expect them to! It was a huge job!), returned promptly the next morning and finished the job. They did such good work and were such a pleasure to deal with, I called TJ to schedule another project. The crew felt bad about the ruts left in parts of my yard from the wheelbarrows, the crew leader spoke to TJ about fixing it. And that's just what they did. I can't say enough good things!

They did a very nice job. He welcomed my comments and made changes accordingly. When they did the landscaping they worked with my schedule. The yard looked very good. On their own initiative they came back and replaced some plants that did not survive the winter, so I didn't have to call them.

Could not believe how responsive TJ was to my telephone call of 05/27/08. I did not realize how many other plantings had not made it through the winter. TJ and his company are to be congratulated for superior customer service in restoring my plantings to their original state!

The crew who does the labor is always friendly, professional, conscientious, and know what they are doing. This was an enormous project which everyone took great pride in accomplishing. This was done with minimal interruption to our daily lives. All the old bricks and paver stones from the previous structures had to be removed as well as large boulders. Four large, curving retaining walls were built with stairs leading from the downstairs level to the upper level all made of paver stones. A patio and seat walls were constructed on the main level looking out over the retaining walls as well as the rest of the yard. The addition of yews, perennials, trees, roses, etc. added to the beauty of this project. I highly recommend this company.

I waited too long to search for someone to do this, and every company I called was booked up through mid-June. They made a special effort and got this done for me in my time frame. They matched the stone perfectly. I was very impressed with Jeff (the manager) who came out to give me an estimate. He immediately knew what kind of stone my patio was made with and he was able to match it perfectly. It was a difficult job, they did an exceptional job at it and they even cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely use them again.

I was in search of a landscaping company that would create a design for my backyard and as soon as I read the good remarks about this company on Angie's List, I gave them a call. I had a very pleasant experience with this company beginning with the person who answered the phone to the meeting with Mr. Houghtalen who presented his architect work to me and my husband. Mr. Houghtalen paid attention to my likes and dislikes regarding certain trees, shrubs, flowers; and where we needed privacy in our yard. His design was exactly what we were looking for, and he was also prepared to make revisions per our request. (We haven't made any revisions to his plan)! Mr. Houghtalen is extremely friendly, professional, prompt, and knowledgeable.

They did a great job and we would use them again. This was a great experience.

I liked how they listened to my concerns and how I wanted things. They called back after the work was done to see if I was satisfied. Very knowledgeable about landscaping. Excellent.
