Description of Work: I purchased the deal 4/21/2013 and he contacted me on 4/23 regarding a date. At that time I requested a quote for doing the edging before laying the mulch. When I never heard from him, I did my own edging and left a message stating I was ready for the mulch. He sent me an email today that stated he had run into problems with his truck, that he didn't have money for the mulch so my job wouldn't be completed. It didn't go well obviously. However, Ivory at Angie's List was very helpful in getting my refund.

Description of Work: Communicating with the service provider was easy. Emailing wasn't an issue. When it came time for him to install the mulch he backed out due to basically being over-booked. I've pasted the cancellation email below for your review. 'Hi. I'm sorry to inform you, I'm currently working with Angie's List to find another local provider to take over the contract for the mulch installations. I'm a new advertiser with Angie's List and I think they need to do a better job of interviewing their advertisers to see if they can handle the commitment. They also need to do a better job of conveying that you have to have the financial backing since most of the money doesn't come for over a month. I don't have the manpower to handle my current workload and the rest of the mulch installs. I'm probably going to be canceling my contract to advertise with Angie's List, since this has been such a bad experience for me. All I can do at this point is I'm extremely sorry and say I hope Angie's List finds a company to fulfill the contract. Description of Work: I order the big deal from CNS lawncare and received an e-mail from the provider stating they were overwhelmed with work and could not provide the service. I contacted Sidney at Angie's list on 5/6/13 and she completed this form on line and was going to try to find another provider or issue a refund. I have not heard from anyone. at this point please provide a refund to my account.

Description of Work: Upon purchasing the deal, I did hear from the company fairly quickly, but it was more of a strong push to purchase additional services vs. just completing the actual purchased work. Upon indicating that I did not want additional services until at least this one was completed, they have gone mostly silent. They indicated that they are overwhelmed with business and offered to come out in mid-June to complete the work purchased. Definitely seemed that if I had agreed to additional services, it might have been faster. Given it is simply putting down some mulch, at this point, I can do it much faster myself. Thus, am cancelling. I did let them know I might cancel.... that did not receive a response either. Oh well.

Description of Work: Called the company many times and left messages. Even saw them working locally and stopped to talk to them. They never came over. Service never provided.

Description of Work: Curt removed brush, small saplings and branches from a roadside area along our property. He returned calls promptly, came out for estimate, and completed the work as agreed, all in a timely fashion. We were pleased with his work, and plan to call him again for other jobs.
