They moved lights and installed new can lights. They made excellent suggestions on things I never would have thought of. They were prompt and professional. We were very pleased with their work! We've used them before, and were really satisfied then, too.

Tried twice to get this company to come out as we needed several things done at our home that requires an electrician. They never respond.

They recommended a heating and cooling company to look at it. This company told me to call Burtner back. Their guy came out and took care of it. I had no problems with Burtner.

They arrrived when exptected. Wore shoe covers. He was pleasant and understood what we needed repaired. He was baffled and ended up calling someone else to help and after a bit of time they did end up solving the puzzle. Received the bill and to me it is not clear why they listed so many items that was "repaired" but the price seemed fine so I did not question. I would use them again.

Workers arrived early, worked promptly, and did excellent work. Would definitely use again.

They came out promptly and made recommendations based on inspection report for the proper way to correct wiring issues so we would be in compliance with code.

When the Janco Greenhouse company sent the new vent motor there were no installation instructions or wiring diagrams included. I called Burtner Electric to figure out the wirning schemes. The technician figured it out and completed the job in less than an hour. He was very efficient and professional. We have used this company for other jobs prior to this and have always been very satisfied with their work.

They did all the work in one day. We had to have the power turned off for part of the day but he kept me informed about the whole process.

We had been having trouble with a kitchen circuit tripping fairly often. I had used Burtner before and was pleased with the work. I called to have them come out and give me a price on what the repair would cost. I believed I was getting a free estimate. They came out, examined the situation, and said they would e-mail the price quote. We were not asked to pay anything at that time(which is just what we expected). They also said they could not perform the work on that visit since the attic would be too hot in the mddle of the day. About 1 week passed, and I called to ask about my quote. The person I spoke to said they would e-mail it immediately and they did so. Before I had any work done, I received a bill from Burtner for $101.00. I assumed it was a mistake and called to discuss the bill. I was told that what I received was a service call and not an estimate. The service call was $101.00. I asked why we were not charged at the time of the visit, and I was told it was a mistake by the electrician. I explained to Burtner Electric that if they had asked me to pay at that time, I would have told them to do the work. I had absolutly no clue that this was not an estimate, and no reference to a fee was ever made until I received the bill in the mail. I believe that if you come out to look at the situation, charge no fee, and say you will e-mail the cost of the repair to me, that is the definition of a free estimate - not a service call. Service calls are charged at time of service. I was then told that if I had them do the work, they would not charge the service call fee. Unfortunately, by then I felt a little taken-advantage-of. I would certainly like Burtner to credit my account for the $101.00

Mr. Burtner came out to give us an estimate the day after we called. We got several other estimates and his was the least expensive. The day of the installation, there was some discussion between us and the electricians regarding placement of the lights, switch placement, dimmers, etc. They were very helpful in making suggestions and explained the additional cost involved (due to more extensive wiring needed in order to have the new lights controlled by the switch across the room). During the job they found that they could not install a can light over our sink, as had been planned, due to a joist blocking that spot, and we settled on installing another basic sink light there ourselves and they again adjusted the cost to us to a fair price. We had only one issue when the job was complete (which we noticed after they left) and that was a new switchplate which was not quite large enough to cover the hole where the work had been done so there was a small gap between where the switchplate ended and the wall began. We called the next morning and they sent them back out with a new plate which looked better. Still, it surprised me that the electrician would think that it was acceptable to leave it like that rather than going out and getting the appropriate size, which would have been the right thing to do (without us having to ask). Overall, we are pleased with the work!

The father and son came out in short notice and they did a great job. It was not an easy job, but they did it. They were really friendly. They answered all of our questions and they explained everything they did and why, which is important.

Timely and professional, went very well.

I called to get an estimate and they came out the next day and provided a quote via email a day later. When I called to schedule the work and told them I had the hot tub set to deliver, they met my time line to make it all happen. I was very impressed that the owner came out to review things for the estimate, he talked me through everything they would do. The only glitch came on the day they were set to do the install, the tech apparently had to finish up a job from the day before but I wasn't notified of that until I called to check in once they were 45 minutes late!

They were very helpful. They were on time. They fixed the problem in a timely. I left them alone in my home and everything was in good order when I returned. They worked diligently

The electricians arrived on schedule and completed the work as planned. The ceiling fan was installed in a short time and looks and works great. The outside electrical outlet was installed just where we wanted and required a new circuit in the main electrical box. They hand dug a trench from the garage around to the back of our house for the wiring. Our grass in that area has not looked the same since. We expected an unnoticeable trench such as what the cable company does for their installations.

They were very friendly when they were there working for us. They were very professional about the job. They had showed up on time. They did a good job at cleaning up when they were done working. However, the information he gave me about getting a second service provider to install the duct work for our second exhaust fan for the bathrooms, was not necessary. They did not provide the duct work for the second fan and could have done it while they were installing the other ductwork. I feel like they did not finish the job that they were suppose to do.

The owners are very hands on. They always do a great job and i will use them again in the future.

He made an extra trip across town at no extra cost. To pick up the parts to make sure the job was done in one day. He was extremely efficient and timely, he came right when he said he would, he completed his job quickly, and he values his Angie's List customers.

We noticed after they did the work for us, the baseboard heat to a room was not working, they returned the very next day and took care of the problem which was a circuit issue.

I thought that he was very thorough in his work. The estimate that he gave me was very detailed. I haven't had any problems with the work that he did since. If needed I would hire him again in the future.

The day after we called Mr. Burtner, whose company we had used before, he came out to see what we needed done. He went back to the office and was very prompt to email us a quote. The day before they were scheduled to do the work we added another project and he was very accommodating in including it at a very fair price. Mike and Joe(who was in training) were very pleasant, polite, conscientious and knowledgeable workers who were willing to engage in dialog with us concerning the entire project. They were scheduled for 8:30am and arrived about 9 am. They did a great and timely job. Mike did more than what was required of him to be sure the job was done correctly. They cleaned up after themselves. They also offered to run the vacuum to clean up insulation we all tracked on the carpet but we told them we would take care of it. We were very satisfied with this company and will request Mike (the lead man) when using the company again.

The electrician, Mike, did an excellent job. He called an hour or so in advance of the appointment to let me know that he had finished a previous job early and asked if could he come earlier than scheduled. His earlier than scheduled arrival helped me as well. He was efficient, professional and personable.
