Had a broken window and decided it was time to replace all the windows. Joined Angie's List and started reading the comments about different companies. Only good comments were said about Affordable Windows. Called Todd and he was very prompt for the estimate. The price quoted was the price I paid. The installer Doug was great and did a wonderful job. The windows look beautiful. Would hire the company again in a minute.

Todd met with us and in detail explained the options we had to replace our windows. He was very skillful in addressing our questions and knew his product well. When we made the selection of his company he was out promptly to measure the windows. The installation was ahead of schedule, which was very pleasing to us. Todd was professional and very capable in his role of informing us of his company's options. Doug showed up on time for the removal and installation of our new windows. He was friendly, left the place clean and did a great job. I plan to use this company again to replace additional windows.

Todd, owner of Affordable Windows, came to my house to give me a quote ($3850). I had 3 other quotes. Affordable Windows was not the most expensive quote (approximately $8000 for most expensive, and $3100 for least expensive). Todd was very low pressure, did not talk bad about other companies, and gave me the facts and the cost. The work was done as scheduled (about 4-5 weeks from quote), only one person here doing the work, and he was professional and trustworthy. No mess to clean up afterwards, inside or outside. I had some wood that was rotting around my window, and they replaced the wood and it looks great. Only $120 additional charge for trimming 4 windows with Cedar. The windows work well, they look good. I will definitely use them when I am ready to replace sliding glass doors, and will heavily consider when ready to build a season room.

Todd was very personable and helpful. He offered a lot of information and a great deal on the windows, but we decided that we just couldn't afford to do them at the time. When we do, I will definitely give him a call again.

Well so far. They have been friendly, punctual and willing to help. Price was pretty decent too. I'll let you know if anything changes.

Great! After we ordered the windows, they arrived in the time frame that Todd told us they would. But, he actually was able to install them much sooner than anticipated due to a cancellation in his schedule. It was only a 1/2 day job, so we were thrilled to have it completed sooner. The windows are perfect!

I appreciated the straightforward approach during the original meeting to receive the estimate. In addition, I appreciated receiving a decent price at the beginning without a bunch of hoops to jump through in order to get preferred pricing. For safety and security, I asked for tempered glass in all the windows. Although it raised the price about $500, Todd was glad to accommodate my request. The windows came in about a week after expected, but installation was completed shortly thereafter in a fast and professional manner. Installer was friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced. Overall, this was a great experience. I now have exactly the windows I wanted at a price I felt comfortable with!

Todd was very pleasant to work with. He was prompt arriving at our house for the estimate and did not try to "sell" us anything. He asked what we were looking for in a window and tried only to meet our needs. We had many companies (5) come out for estimates and not only was Todd the most straight-forward and genuine, he also had the lowest estimate for the windows. Doug installed the windows perfectly and was very professional. It took a little longer to install the windows than we thought it would, but we're glad he took his time and did it right rather than rushing. We would definitely hire them again and probably will next year as we have some more windows that we would like replaced.

It went very well. The pricing and work was very good. They did it in a timely manner. We were very happy with there work. The crew was awesome. They were polite and cleaned everything up.

Found Affordable Windows through Angie's List. The ratings from other members were impressive. We worked with Todd Pickett to place our order. He was very helpful with information and answered any questions we had. Our installation was on time as arranged and done in a professional and well-organized manner. The windows look great. I'm sure we'll use this company again when we get ready to have additional windows installed.

Todd, the sales rep, called me back the same day I left a message about getting an estimate. He came out on the agreed date. He asked me what I needed and did not try to sell me anything else when completing the estimate. He provided thorough information and answered any questions I had. When I made the decision to use his company, he came out on the agreed upon date to get final exact measurements. After the windows were ready, Doug, the installer, and his wife showed up as scheduled. They were very efficient and pleasant to deal with. I was pleasantly surprised that no mess was left in the house. I would definitely use Affordable Windows & Construction for future work.

Todd was on time to provide estimate and did a good job explaining what we would be getting. He was fair with his price. His estimate included all costs. The installation went very well. His installer was amazingly efficient and cleaned up everything. Windows are great and installation looks good.

I like working with this type of company. They probably have less overhead than the bigger guys, so the price is better. Plus, since Todd was the one who came out to both measure and install the windows, I felt like I was dealing with someone from the word "go" who really knew his business. They were flexible in dealing with my schedule and did a great job for me.

The quality of the product and the workmanship is exceptional. Doug's attention to detail on the installation was excellent and took no short cuts when doing the job.

I contacted several contractors to give me bids on our window replacement. I had previously replaced the windows on the majority of the house during a remodel and wanted a contractor to replace these remaining windows. Todd was very responsive and his quote was competitive. He was easy to deal with and they did a quality job.

Todd Pickett came to the house to show us his product. We called him because of their rating and that he was a Noblesville Co. We had already put in 2 Airtight windows. To our surprise he carried the exact same window. He noted the windows we had replaced were not set in correctly and said his installer would correct it for us plus put the outside casings on those two windows when he did the new ones. He gave us a good price including the Angie's discount for the 8 windows we purchased. The projected date of starting the installation was to be Oct. 1, completion on Oct. 4. We did not hear from Todd on those dates so we called on the 8th to check on the status. He said rain delayed them. His installer came on Oct 11 and installed all the windows plus adjusted the two we already had replaced. He came back the next day and installed all the outside casings and sealed each window inside and out. He did a fantastic job. We would recommend this company.

I'm quite pleased with the whole process. Todd came out in person to look at the job and give me a ballpark estimate for what I wanted to do. At this meeting he game me a list of other people's names and phone numbers for whom they had done work who I could call for references. Once I made my decision, he came back and went over the job with me in detail to come up with a final cost; Todd returned to my house a third time with Doug, who would install the windows, to take final measurements of every window to be replaced. Once the windows arrived, they were installed at my convenience. Doug, the installer, paid significant attention to quality detail. The outside of my windows were beige, so he found caulk that was the same color as the window frames instead of standard white; he also delayed finishing the job by one day so he could obtain a the equipment he needed to finish the trim on one window in one solid piece (no seaming).

Todd was the first person we talked to about our window replacement job. He spent a lot of time at our home explaining it all and we really liked him. His price was also very good. When we completed our initial meeting, he provided us with references and also was going to talk to some of his customers to see if we could see some of his work. In the meantime we were also getting other estimates. We only heard back from Todd one time and he never got back to us on seeing some work. We did call the references and they gave glowing reviews but we really wanted to see some work. Since he didn't get back to us we met with the others and decided to sign with someone else. I wonder if maybe our job was going to be too big and he really didn't want it? Not sure as we still haven't heard back. Too bad because he was high on our list.

Todd & Rodd Pickett and Wes did an excellent job. They stayed within the estimated date 5/30/07 - 6/25/07. We watched the whole process and were impressed with their knowledge and construction skills. Very pleasant, kept up posted on weekly procedures and didnt waste time. Very few breaks and kept focused. Answered our questions and were courteous.

Requested bids for window work from several companies. Todd arrived, measured, and verbally bid one property. Based on his bid and presentation, I sent Todd to 3 other properties to submit bids on. He called later the next day with verbal bid on all 4. It took a few phone tags, but the written proposal for two properties was faxed and accepted with 1/2 deposit check going out 2/1/07. Expected installation in 3-4 weeks. The windows were actually installed the last week of March so it ran a little longer than expected, but one of his resources had been sick. The windows look great! The patched vinyl also looks reasonable. There was a broken window delivered from the factory, Todd put it in and then had it replaced. The vinyl frame was cracked and Todd is also taking care of that. His crew did a great job on clean up, nothing was left behind for me to clean up. I'll do business with Todd again!
