Their service was very excellent . They did it in one day. They met my specification and I was very happy with them.

I spent about $6000 in the fall of 2011 replacing all the windows in my condo, including 2 glass sliding patio doors. The seal has now failed on one of the patio doors, and it looks terrible. I have called Todd Pickett at Affordable Windows several times since February 26th--over a period of 3+ months now--trying to get this replaced. He referred me to the manufacturer that he says he no longer uses due to problems he has had with them, and does not seem to be worrying about this getting fixed. (He first gave me the phone number for the manufacturer and said the glass was covered by the manufacturer's warranty.) Why are they so casual about fixing something that they admitted should not have failed? The manufacturer at first responded to my emails, saying that it had been ordered, but that there was a 3 week delay, that they expected it done by the end of the week, and so on . It is June now, and this has been going on since February. This is a very disappointing way to treat a customer.

Todd was excellent and easy to work with on the project. He is my window guy and I will use him again if I need windows.

The guy who came out was very nice and friendly. However, I just want my windows replaced.

They are pretty good. They are professional. The workers were excellent. You can rate them A all the way.

I made the appointment. I waited all morning, and he did not arrive. On Saturday, I wrote Angies List. The responder said they did not know what I wanted. I responded that I wanted a refund. On Monday, the provider called to apologize as he had forgotten about the appointment. I waited until the 27 of October to hear from Angies List. No response. I again wrote to Angies List requesting a refund as the service was not provided. Today is the 30 and I have not received an answer. I have checked my credit card and have not seen any type of refund. I would like a refund since the service was not provided. I am very disappointed that nothing has been done. I have been a member for a long time and have never had an issue. This is frustrating.

It all went fine. No complaints

The windows were ordered in July with the expectations that it would be 6-8 weeks delivery. (that was ok, since we were trying to do all renovation work on the new home before we would move in) The actual move-in was predicated on the assertion that the entire window/door delivery would arrive as expected. Unfortunately , they were 7-10days later than predicted. When they did arrive, the installation was scheduled for the following week. With the anticipated installation to take 3-4 days, they proceeded to install the windows that had been delivered. After a few road blocks (which were amicably remedied) the installation was partially complete in a week. The complete installation of ordered windows and doors was delayed due to the patio doors not arriving at the same time.as the windows. Said doors arrived the following week. At this date, September 29, we are still awaiting the promised locks for the patio doors. As of November 2014 the locks have been installed on patio doors. They work okay, that is they will lock from the inside, but i cannot lock them from the outside, as there is not enough maneuvering space for the key and a hand. Therefore, I have to make sure that they are locked and exit out another door. As of this day in January 2015, (temps below zero), there is ice inside the windows. I will be contacting them in this regard, as i don't believe that that should be the case. (as far as using the provider in the future, the "yes" is conditional, depending how the condensation issue is dealt with)

Overall, it went very well. Great knowledge, good management and great product quality. The only thing that we were surprised by was: 1) The "faux wood" in the vinal windows compared to woodframe on the windows didn't match very well. We were switching from window casing windows to vinal windows. I wish he would have explained that better. I didn't have a good understanding of what it would look like when it was done. We didn't make a great choice. 2) The installation crew did a really good job doing the installation, but could have done a better job cleaning up. It was fine, ok. But, we had four kids in the house, two of them were 18-months old. Little ones found nails and pieces of old wood windows and sawdust. Both of these are things that could be managed with more education on our part. And kudos to them for helping educate us as much as possible and not taking advantage of our lack of education. All said, we are definately still going to hire this company again when we need to redo the upstairs windows.

Todd and Rod Pickett the owners of Affordable Windows were excellent to work with. Our home was one of their larger projects this year with over 31 windows being installed plus a new patio door. This project was the largest effort we've undertaken on our home costing over $14,000. Choosing which windows to purchase is a daunting endeavor with so many on the market to choose from. After evaluating our needs and requirements Todd recommended a company out of Chicago called Lang Exteriors. We were not familiar with the company but Todd has used their product for years and recommended them highly. After conducting some online research we discovered they were a 60 year old company and one of the largest windows manufacture in the mid-west. We instructed Todd to order the windows and let?s do it. Approximately 30 days later Todd and crew began the job. It took them over a week to complete all the installations. During that entire time they were very respectful of our home, our property and our landscaping. But more importantly the quality of the windows and installation was superior. The difference these windows have made in our home has made the investment well worth it. We live near a busy road and the noise reduction we estimate is around 40-50% and air infiltration is nil. The only issue we encountered with the windows was a crooked grill in the patio door. My wife noticed it the day it was installed but well after the crew had left for the day. I immediately typed an email to Todd informing him of our issue. To our surprise Todd was back at our home an hour-and-half later taking pictures of the window to share with the manufacture the very next day. Todd requested an entire new door not just the glass insert. As of this writing the door has yet to be replaced but I have every confidence it will be addressed. We were so impressed with the crew and quality of work we also requested a quote to replace several bad trim boards around our home. We decided to pass for now as the cost was too much for budget. All-and-all a great experience and we highly recommend Affordable Windows to anyone considering windows or any other remodeling project.

All went well. Todd came out and gave me an estimate on a window replacement. He ordered the window for me and after a few weeks waiting for the factory to deliver the window he came out and performed the installation. He did a fine job and I would use hime again.

Todd Pickett followed up on our request for an estimate, as did 4 other contractors. His approach was straight forward and he thoroughly explained the entire process. His pricing was competitive and after further research we chose them. They arrived on time and completed the job the same day. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

I've used Todd Picket before to install vinyl windows on my home. He did such a great job that I decided to use him again. I had a few items on the inspection report for the sale of my house that needed repair. He came out within 2-3 days of my call and gave me an estimate. His price beat all others by a long shot. He did excellent work repairing my damaged trim and painted the trim as well. He also repaired a damaged gutter. He made my wood rotted window sill look brand new. I'm really happy with his work and wish I knew about him a long time ago. He can do almost anything for your house including new windows, build decks, repair siding and even repair shingles. For the price and quality of work I would recommend him to anyone. Just to let you know, when you call him leave him a voicemail. He checks all his voicemails so don't worry if he takes a day or two to get back to you.

We bought a foreclosed home, and we wanted to replace the old windows before the winter. Since we have 4 cats and did not want any to escape, we were in a hurry to get the windows in before we actually moved into the home. Todd came and met with us, made measurements and gave us an estimate. It not the cheapest estimate we received, but he assured us that the windows could go in before the end of our rental's lease that was rapidly approaching (even if it meant working on a weekend). Since this was the most important factor to us, we ordered the windows through him. He also seemed very kind and was instantly likable--at first. When the windows came, they began installing them as planned. The problem came when they did not get them all put in in one day. At the end of the day, rather than saying see you tomorrow as was promised (two day install even if a Saturday was second day), they said see you Tuesday. It was the Friday before Memorial Day. I spoke with Todd's brother who was the one there, and told him that we had been promised the install in two consecutive days even if second was a Saturday. We had planned our entire move around this plan. He called Todd who called me and let me know he would try to make arrangements to come back the next day to finish the job, but was clearly unhappy with us for expecting what had been promised--even told me that plans had been made to go away for the weekend and they would have to delay their plans. They eventually showed up the next day (we were not even sure they were going to come) and put the windows in place. They said they had to come back Tuesday to finish work to the outside of the house but said the windows were secure until then. When they came back it was like they were a different company. Very unfriendly and came and went without telling us. When Todd came and did the walk through with my husband, my husband was told that they would 'be expecting a good review since they went out of their way for us'. I was too angry to review until now. They did get the windows in place (so I did get the services I paid for), but not without making it very clear how angry they were about it. They were surprisingly rude, and the final straw was being told to give them a great evaluation after the whole experience. Their product was good, and I love my windows, but I would not pay for their service again.

Excellent. Even with unexpected events, they did the job quickly and professionally. Their craftsmanship is excellent. We plan on using them again for our deck. With 15 windows and a picture window/casements combination, the price was also very good.

Todd was very thorough during the first meeting and when providing the estimate. Based on information gathered from other companies, his bid was very competitive. The glass was ready when they said it would be and they promptly came out, did the siding repair and put the glass in. The results are great! Very professional, reasonable and great to work with, I would use them again!

Todd, from Affordable Windows, was helpful and enthusiastic during the initial visit for an estimate. He was also timely in sending his estimate. He was patient with us as we asked questions and adjusted our plans. The installers from Alside were very professional. It took two and a half days due to extreme winter weather. We are pleased with the windows and now we plan to order more.

Our house was built 21 years ago, and my wife and I got tired of our old, drafty aluminum windows. Todd from Affordable Windows was very patient with all our questions before, during and after the installation. That made a great impression. Their price was reasonable, compared to other companies we contacted. Installation took two days, and they followed up with a concern my wife had about the levelness of a kitchen window.

Just moved here from Chicago and bought a lovely home in Noblesville,In. A large picure window needed replacing ...it was damaged and leaking. Called several window companies, but Affordable was the best price. Not only the best price but very professional in everyway. They were on time , friendly and very knowledgeable. I would call them again.

Working with Todd was very comfortable and easy. He was the only service provider to give us a quote on the spot, which was wonderfully convenient. He was responsive to phone calls and voicemails even when he was traveling or it was in the evening. Due to the weather, our installation was postponed a few times (usually by our choice) and he always stayed in touch to reschedule. The men who installed the windows were polite, professional, and hard working. Two days were scheduled for the installation, but they finished in one, working in pretty nasty weather. Because of the weather, some things needed to be fixed, and they were quick to do so an explained what happened. Todd was present for a time while they were working and came over the next day to check the work and discuss our satisfaction. He pointed out one of the windows that had a crack in it and said he had contacted the manufacturer for a replacement. I hadn't even noticed the crack in the frame, and probably wouldn't have. He was very thorough, and it was obvious he wanted us to be happy. We are extremely happy with the windows and the work performed. We're glad we chose Affordable Windows and Construction and would trust them with any other work in the future.

they replaced the windows in my living room and the kitchen. they also reframed them as they were dry rotted. they were very professional and guided me through the entire process and assisted me in understanding what they were doing. they were not upset when I asked a lot of questions. I would recommend them for everything. I plan on doing more work around the house in the next couple of years and hope that they don't get tired of me calling them back.

Affordable Windows replaced 20 wood windows with vinyl clad replacement windows. They look great (in-side and out), reduced noise, and we can now open all of our windows to enjoy the fresh air. They are tan on the outside and white on the inside. Look forward to not having to paint every other year. Todd and the crew were great to work with. Great communication, professional, and timely work for a great price. Would definitely recommend!

Showed up on time to inspect and provide an estimate. Was very professional in his service and communications. Did the work quickly and without leaving any mess behind. Needed more work done elsewhere around the house, which was quoted and performed promptly. Will highly recommend.

Todd was very punctual and knowledgeable. He understood what I wanted and got back to me really quick on a price. However, he only gave me one choice for size of the window (smaller than what I originally wanted). I asked if he could show me a picture of the one he found (it was to exactly match my sunroom door glass) and he said he would see what he could do, but I've yet to hear back from him. I have since contacted and contracted with another company to do the work.
