Tom and his team did a fantastic job. They were very easy to work with, took care of all the details and made sure everything was completed to our satisfaction. They really transformed the look of the house. The sunroom is now my favorite room.

It went very well. This is the second time we have used Tom and we hope to use him again.

The windows and doors are a big improvement, all the trim work was terrific. Work was started and completed on time. They took great care in protecting our furnishings from dirt, rain, and damage. They were very responsive to minor issues/complications that are bound to come up with a project of this scope. His crew were pleasant, professional, respectful, and friendly. I plan to use them for any future remodeling work.

Tom and his Team exceeded our expectations. Starting with a stellar recommendation from Angie's List, we invited Tom and his architect to assess our basement and provide an estimate. We were impressed with their suggestions, which immediately improved upon our initial plans, and their understanding of this project's scope. We also felt confident that they could provide the quality craftsmanship and detail-oriented skills needed to make our vision a reality. The project was scheduled to begin during the time of the ice storm in early 2011. As the melt began the day before the start date, a large sheet of ice slid off our roof, taking our main power line down to the ground. We called Tom, worried about everything from power for our family in frigid conditions to impeding the project's schedule. Tom told us not to worry, that his electrician would take care of it the next day, no problem. And that is exactly what he did, which further bolstered our confidence that we had selected the right contractor. From that moment forward, the project advanced at the desired pace (fast in the beginning, since the tear-down is the quicker task; slower for the build, particularly when synchronizing events that necessarily must occur before others). Tom and his Team also worked with us to appropriately modify the initial plan to address issues that arose during the project (e.g. install new electrical wiring where frayed, old wires were found) and honor new requests when we realized that a new approach was desired (e.g. change from a dry bar to a wet bar, add bookshelves in the bedroom). In the end, Tom made sure each final detail was sufficiently addressed before the last payment was made. No other contractor could have accomplished this feat. We are overjoyed with the final result and will work with Thomas J. Pearson, Inc. again.

This was a simple job, not much to tell. Our first project was much more extensive and you can read our review of his excellent work. Bottom line was we called Tom, told him what we wanted, and it happened with no fooling around.

This is the 2nd project Tom has done for us and we were just as happy this time around. No one ever really wants to have their windows replaced, but Tom made the process easy for us. Tom is great to work with - very prompt and professional and up front about everything. The crew is equally professional, curteous and they do fantastic work. In addition, the follow up after the project was complete was also very prompt. Many people worry about trying to get the crew to come back and fix any problems or things forgotten. They had to come back only once and they did so right away. I plan to hire them again with any future work that is needed.

very well. They completely gutted the kitchen, moved the refrigerator to a new spot, and installed all of the materials we chose. He has his own cabinet maker, tile installer, electrician, plumber, etc.

He was very punctual. As soon as I finished calling him to get estimates, he was able to come right out. I've received other estimates from other companies (one company wanted $4400 just for basement repair, not even finishing the bathroom) that were very high compared to his bid, which was very reasonable. I'm considering using his services.

Tom came out to give an estimate which was about twice what others had given. He was very professional in his approach and inspired confidence in me so that I selected him over others. He communicated well on the day of the work since I was not there and the work is outstanding. A simple job but one that needed professional attention. He even came in under the estimate. A couple of minor issues with the folks who actually did the work--not related to the construction of the wall which I addressed with Tom afterwards and he was apologetic. I would recommend this company highly!

Tom was very helpful from the estimate to the completion of the work. The people involved were very competent and very careful with protecting furniture and rugs. We are very pleased with the way everything turned out. We would definetly use again for any future remodeling project.

Tom was very responsive. I really liked working with him. Tom explained what the options were, and gave me several price ranges. He was on time. He also brought out another person to give me a quote on a paver patio as well.

Thomas was uniquely interested in understanding and addressing our concerns and preferences for repair (e.g. we chose to install a vintage pedestal sink rather than a new model) and worked with us to solve any problems created by our preferences. He was always accessible to discuss the progress of the job. Based upon our experience, I have the utmost trust and confidence in Thomas Pearson and his work. I highly recommend him.

We selected Thomas J. Pearson, Inc. due to the fact that they gave use the most reasonable estimate for the work to be performed. They started and completed on project on time. During the length of our project they strived to keep our home as clean as possible even going so far as using the hole for and later the egress window to access our basement project. We are impressed with the quality of the work, and they even went as far as adding extra trim to some support coloumns and created an art niche without increasing the cost of the project just to give the room architectural detail. Everyone that worked on the project was friendly and respectful.

Great. Tom is one of the most thoughtful contractors that I have ever used. He is very careful to describe what he is doing and his crew has been with him a long time. I will certainly use them again.

Tom did an outstanding job. The bathroom looks great. Everything from the first meeting, scheduling, demolition to finished work was done just as he promised. I would highly recommend him for any project. He is a true professional!

My greatest concern was the difference in appearance between glaring new concrete and my 90-year-old porch concrete that goes with a vintage house. Tom was sensitive to that and did about as much as can be done to limit the "new" color of the replacement steps. He did all the things that we wish every service provider would: he did what he said he would do and more, did it when he said he would, was professional in working with a quote and a service agreement, provided proof of insurance at the front end and a lien waiver from the concrete supplier before final payment, and was a pleasure to deal with generally. His price is probably in the upper range for this type of work, but there is quality in the product and service in my opinion.

Currently they are redoing the ceiling in our master bedroom. We were very pleased. They did a sizeable basement finishing project from a very rough and open basement. We now have a bathroom, bedroom and picture windows. The basement project was $36,000 and the bathroom remodel was $14,000. We will absolutely use them in the future.

It was a good experience. They were punctual and professional. The price was okay. I would use them again.

It didn't get finished as fast as we would have liked. It is finished and they did a really good job. I have been in my own home for 60 years. It is a new place for me and it is really great.

Given the size of the job, I was impressed with how little time it actually took. Tom and his co-workers did an excellent job. The estimates were accurate and realistic, and did not change. They are all professionals. Given the other people we had come to give estimates, I have no doubt that we picked the right contractor. We personally knew other people that had work done by Tom, and their experiences were the same as mine, great. The work has been done now for a couple of months, and there are no issues, and I dont forsee that changing. If it does, I have no doubt that Tom will make right anything that a reasonable person would expect. If you want quality work done, Tom is the guy for you.

My husband has questioned how they did it because we had water damage on the other side of the house about 15 years ago and our insurance paid for that. They did it a little differently but as far as we know it was fine. They were fine as far as getting back with us. They put it off a couple of times but it wasn't a big deal.

I first contacted this company on 2 July to get a quote for remodelling. We played phone tag for about a week, when I left my last message. After hearing nothing and researching other jobs, I called again several weeks later to see if he was still interested in quoting my job. He said yes and told me to fill out the information form on his website. An appointment was set up for 18 August, and I filled out the form. On 18 August, Mr. Pearson did not show up for his appointment, and I never heard from him again.

Tom gave us a competitive estimate which was very detailed. He worked with us to give us what we wanted and keep the cost reasonable. He answered our questions and was responsive to our phone calls when we had questions.
