A simple phone call and I left my mower out on the side of the house during the day. He comes by while I'm at work and it's done! Great convenience and super price (even at full price!)

Description of Work: I assumed everything was done properly, but since it was for winterization, I didn't check until the first time I used the mower in the spring. All in all, everything was okay. The only part I was not satisfied with was that my blade didn't seem sharpened. I thought this was part of the deal? Maybe I was mistaken.

I had purchased a special through Angie's List and needed to wait a month or so to schedule the actual appointment. Mr. Arvin was very prompt in answering my emails when I requested an appointment for the following month. When I returned to town, I had no trouble setting up a time for the service. When he arrived for the appointment, he arrived on time and completed the service very promptly and professionally. I would use him again.

Description of Work: I use my Toro push mower to 'rake leaves' in the fall as well as to cut grass during the growing season. The mower has been a stuggle to start since the battery-operated 'on' switch stopped working in 2011. My mower is over 7 yrs old and Chris adjusted the pull cord and showed me a way that even I can start it, rather than replace expensive self-start parts for a mower that is too old.

The contact was supposed to contact us to schedule the appointment (and I even sent an email); I ultimately had to reach out again to get the appointment scheduled. Despite that early hiccup, though, we were very pleased with the work and professionalism of the service-provider. We would definitely work with them again.

Description of Work: Mow Better contacted me immediately after the purchase of the coupon to schedule. They came to my home to service my mower at my home, so all I had to do was set it outside the garage when I went to work. I came home to nice work and their card was attached to the mower. I would definitely recommend. This sure beats loading your mower up in your car trunk and hauling it somewhere.

Description of Work: I bought an Angie's List Big Deal for a lawnmower tune up. I have a new push mower. It is only one year old but I like to have the blades sharpened and it winterized every year. I made the appointment with Chris via email and he told me what days he was in my area so I scheduled it about a month out so I was done with mowing for the year. He showed up right when he said he would and was very professional. He changed the spark plugs, filter, oil and sharpened the blades. I had already run the gas down to almost empty and he noted that on the card he gave me. It was raining that day he came and he asked if he could work inside my garage. He swept up the area he worked in and left no mess which I appreciated. I loved the fact that I did not have to haul my mower anywhere, he showed up on time and did what he was supposed to do. I will definitely call him again next year.
