Chris was very quick in scheduling the appointment and arrived exactly when he said he would. He did the work promised and even though my mower is a little old he did not try to upsell me with extra work or add any hidden charges. The work was done in thrity minutes as promised.

First, Mr. Arvin, Chris, is one of the nicest gentlemen I have ever met. He is soft-spoken and very friendly. He quickly and quietly went about his business, taking my snowblower into his truck and had it working perfectly in a short period of time. I am very pleased with his service, and will ask him back again next year. This is a great service that he provides- coming out to the homeowner, and working on the machine in your driveway. Should he not be able to do the repairs on the spot, he would take it back to order parts, repair the machine, notifying you of the needed repairs and the cost. He tells you this ahead of time. No surprises here. Again, this is a great idea, great service, from a really nice guy. I'm very happy I signed on for this "Big Deal" from Angie.

Very responsive and easy to work with. Showed up right on time, loaded the mower into his truck, and had everything done with high quality and quickly.

I spent probably $70 or $80 on that service. It was reasonable because he came to the house and I did not have to pick up anything and put it in the car and take it anywhere. I actually called several places and their quotes were a lot higher if they had to come to the house. I like that he was very personable, very nice and he knew what he was doing. The garage is a different from the front door where he had his van parked and he my mother asked him to pull it on to the garage. He said that it was okay and that I would walk and push through whatever it was, so he was very considerate of my mother, I guarantee that. I will I use him again because u need to get my snow ploughed and he said he would do that.

It was an excellent experience. I was very pleased with the work. He comes with his truck and he comes to your house and puts your lawn mower in his truck and fixes it, so you don't have to take it anywhere. He doesn't charge anything extra to come out to your house. He explains what he is doing and showed me what was wrong. He is a very nice man and he was easy to work with.

I called the company and left message on his machine. Chris called back promptly and scheduled appointment. He came out and didn't have the part with him to fix the steering on the mower and had to order the part which took about one week.. He ordered the part and took the mower with him so that he could work on it at night . He returned the mower in less than a week and it works well. I also asked if he knew anything about snow blowers as ours had pretty much died the last winter. He was able to fix the snow blower on the spot. He was both curteous and professional and I'll use him from now on.

We contacted Chris and he was able to come to our home within two days of the initial call. We needed a John Deere push mower repaired and many mower repair shops refer John Deere repairs to the dealer but Chris said no problem. When he arrived, I had an additional mower that had lost a wheel and he graciously agreed to look at it as well. His truck is a mobile repair shop and he had both of our mowers fixed in less than an hour. I could not have been more pleased and will definitely schedule him for our annual riding mower repair in the off season since he told me it will save money to do it between Dec - Mar. Great experience!

I emailed Chris through his website (mowbetter.net). He emailed me back with the cost for what I wanted ($75 for blade sharpening and tune-up). He called me the next day to set up a time. As long as my mower was somewhere he could get to it, I did not need to be there, so he came one day while I was at work. He said he would give me a call if there was anything unexpected. He left a note with the charge and info for sending him a check. I used my mower a couple of days later and it seemed to be working very well.

I had a very good experience. The gentleman came to my house provided the services needed and came back the next day to replace a part that I needed that he did not have with him. It was very nice.

They attempted to fix my broken lawn mower. They sharpened the blade and adjusted it, but were unable to figure out the issue. They referred me to another service provider who could help.

Perfect, a phone call and an honest knowledgeable guy comes to your house and fixes your mower, If everything were this easy!!

He comes out every spring for me and he comes to my door. I have to call him as it is not an automatic thing. He sets up a time and comes here. He is always on time. He pulls my lawn mower out and takes it up to his truck. He takes it inside and does all his work. I could hear him all grinding away. He cleans it, sharpens the blades, changes the filter and changes the spark plug. He would then bring it back to me and put it in my garage for me. His price is good. He is very good and thorough considering the fact that it is a pain to take your lawn mower to the shop especially for a woman. You should rip the lawn mower up, put it in your truck, tie it down and drive it to wherever it is. They would take a week or two and then you will have to follow the same process in the reverse order to bring it back home. So, it is nice when someone drives up to your house and changes the oil. I don't have to worry about the oil as he takes care of that. He wipes the dirt and dust off of the lawn mower although he does not get the hose out.

They arrived on time, did the work, and the mower has run beautifully. And you can't beat the convenience.

They were extremely easy to deal with. A 5 min phone call got my appointment scheduled. No follow up calls were needed. They were here at time specified and now my mower sounds like it's brand new.

It went fast. Owner arrived ahead of schedule was finished in about 15 minutes. Very courteous and polite.

Chris is very reliable, punctual, and does a great job. I have used him for multiple years to service our lawn mower, snow blower, and to sharpen a chain saw. His prices make it not worthwhile at all to take equipment in anywhere to have serviced since he comes right to your door at a reasonable price.

I felt price was good considering that he comes to your house and does it there. This way I didn't have to take time out of my day to haul mower to shop and then go pick up at a later date.

The service was fine, I have no complaints. He wasn't here that long, he did what he needed to do. It was an all in one service and he had a truck that had everything on it. They came out to me, that was what was neat about it. He was good.

Came out as scheduled. Efficient; knowledgeable and professional. Gave additional information on care of mowers ie., how to check oil and fill with oil. Appreciate having the at your home service versus having to pay the pick-up/delivery charge have paid in past. Was finished in less than 2 hours versus being without the mowers for several weeks. Service is provided from a truck that came to our home. Chris finished both mowers in an hour and did an excellent job. Extremely convenient and effective way to get law mowers serviced.

Awesome! This polite, courteous gentleman comes to your door, is exceptionally knowledgable about lawn mowers and works on them from his truck equipped with all he needs including his own generator for power to get your lawn mower ready for the season. It is so very refreshing to see someone fill a niche for which he is well suited and to be so reasonable about the costs and the convenience is unheard of. I have lugged my lawn mower to places or paid high fees to have them lugged to places with lots of waiting in line. Never again. Using this business for lawn mower maintenance just makes complete sense. Thank you to the owner Chris for making my life easier!
