Leading up to the appointment time, communication was clear, and confirmed the appointment. The technician called when he was on his way. So far, the mower is working great. And I assume the snowblower will too...when that dreaded day comes.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Mow Better. I will use them again. Joe came to my house, tuned my mower and even cleaned it up. I have never had the mower tuned before and now it works like a new one.

This is a great service, they come to your house and quickly and efficiently take care of tune-ups and blade sharpenings. Very happy with the service performed and time it took.

They came here and it went real well. He was neat, clean and polite. When he was done he cleaned up after himself and I really appreciated that.

Technician arrived as scheduled, with all needed tools and equipment. He removed all blades (some over-torqued), sharpened them, and re-installed them, then checked to ensure that they operated properly.

It worked well. We had some schedule challenges primarily because of my schedule but they came out. It worked well. Once we were able to match up schedules, they came out and did the work. It was painless and hassle-free.

I called Mow Better to set up the appointment to come out to my home to sharpen the blade and change the oil in my push mower. The lady that answered the phone was very nice and gave me options of days they can come out. I called on a Wednesday and they were out on Friday. They called me on Thursday and gave me a time of between 12 and 12:30 that the repair guy would show up. He did the work and left my wife a invoice with charges of $80 to sharpen blade, change oil, change air filter and spark plug. The next day a received a call from Mow Better explaining that they noticed he charged me $80 to sharpen the blade, change oil, change air filter and spark plug when I originally only asked for the oil to be changed and blade sharpen which should have been only $60. They told me they noticed the mistake and said I can just send them payment for $60 which was what was originally quoted. I really appreciated the company's honesty and that they contacted me to correct the mistake instead of waiting and see if I just pay the invoice. For this reason I most definitely will refer this company to everyone and use them every year to tune up my mowers and power equipment.

I am very pleased with the professionalism and quick service I received from Mow Better! They did a great job. Chris had my mower up and going in no time! He arrived right when he said he would and serviced my mower. I especially love that he came out to my house because I have no way to transport a mower to the repair shop. His rates are extremely reasonable as well, and if I have any issues with my mower in the future, I will definitely hire Mow Better to take care of the problem.

Initially, technician could not figure out the issue with the tiller and stated that he may have to have the other truck come pick it up to bring to the shop. But he was persistent, and figured out the problem with the gasket valve and got it working that day. Andrea in the office was very pleasant to speak with to set up the appointment.

We've used Chris to service our lawnmower for the past several years. He always does a great job taking care of our mower. It runs perfectly in the spring when we first use it. The best part is he comes to our house and we never have to haul the mower around town for service. We would highly recommend using Mow Better.

As a senior homeowner, delighted to find a company that came to my yard to repair both lawnmower and rototiller. Mow Better arrived within predicted time period and within 45 minutes (or less) had both machines running smoothly. Repair bill was very reasonable. Will definitely use this company in future and recommend to my family and friends. So good to not have to transport to repair shop and not get the machine back for sometimes weeks.

He is a mobile service and sets up in my garage. All of his equipment is on his mobile device and he is able to do a complete service. He was able to do the tune up in about 30 minutes.

We have used Mow Better twice, once in the fall for our push mower and once in the spring for our riding lawn mower. We have been extremely satisfied with the services they provided both times. Scheduling an appointment is easy and it takes only a minute. Service providers come to your driveway and fix your mower on the spot. Arrived on time, was very professional, performed services quickly and left everything behind clean. Price is almost half of what we were paying an authorized John Deer service to maintain our mower and they had to take the mower to their facility and stored it outside, which we didn't like. We will use this service for all of our future mower maintenance needs, it is extremely convenient and very well priced!

Technician arrived right on time - professional, polite, and very efficient. Mower looked and sounded like new when he was finished. And might I add, it was so very convenient for me - no hassle in having to transport a too heavy mower. Will definitely be using again!

My only complaint is that the technician didn't have an air filter to fit my Honda mower. He had to clean the old one as best he could. I would think that he would have had a filter with him that would fit in my mower.

The first time I called I had an appointment scheduled for 9 AM on a weekday, which I took off from work. I expected the service to begin around 9 AM. At 8:50 AM I was in my living room waiting for the service person to arrive. By 9:40 AM I did not receive a call and a person did not show up. I called and was told that the service person had arrived at my door and called. I double checked my phone and did not see a missed call, so I rescheduled for two weeks later. I rescheduled for 9 AM and took another day off work. The service day arrived and I received a call at 8 AM from the service person saying that he would be arriving by 8:30 AM, which he did. He performed the service quickly and was friendly the entire time. My opinion of the work performed is very positive, however scheduling could be improved upon. I would use the company again knowing that they tend to run ahead of schedule and I should set aside two hours (one hour before and one hour during) for any work I need.

It went alright. I liked the fact that they were willing to come to your home for the work. There was a more or snow blower which I gave to them to have it serviced, which we don't have a vehicle to put it in is a big plus.

Chris is the model company everyone should aspire to. I purchased the deal on Angie's List for a snow blower tune up back in the fall. Chris's company followed up immediately to schedule the date for the tune up in November. He showed up exactly when he said he would, and performed the tune up on my unit which had not been serviced since purchased 5 years prior. It had been having some trouble starting up, so I figured the tune up would fix that. The next day after the tune up I went out to start the blower and it wouldn't start. I called Chris to see if he might know why (since he had it running the day prior) and he came back out to my house the next day. I wasn't able to be here on his trip back, but I called him after and he explained he got it started and talked me through on the phone that the carb was a bit gummy and may take awhile to work itself through. Skip forward 2 months to the first snow fall in Jan this year, and unfortunately the blower would not start at all. I called Chris the next day, just to ask his opinion and if he thought I should take it in to be serviced some place. He discussed a few things that may be going on, but offered to stop by over the weekend to take a look. He showed up, easily diagnosed what he thought the issue was (the primer bulb didn't sound like it was delivering the fuel, thus a dirty fuel/carb build up issue). Chris showed me how to open up the carb, and also the product he uses on the carbs to get them going. He cleaned it up a bit, put it back together, and the snow blower started immediately and ran like a charm. I've gone out weekly to test it by starting, and it starts up no problem each time. Chris did not have to come back over that day and help me, but he did, and I offered him money for his time and EXTRA service and he would not take it. In all he made 3 trips to my house all for the one low price, and saying he went above and beyond is and understatement. I did not think any companies like his existed anymore. It was an honor to do business with this honest and dependable person, and I highly recommend him to anyone for their mower and snow blower needs. I will definitely be relying on him for all of our equipment in the future.

I have used Chris for many years. He comes to the house on-time, does the job in a timely manner, is very professional, and always has my lawn mower ready to go for the next mowing season. I will continue to use him as long as I am mowing my lawn.

He was right on time and he was very nice. He worked on the lawnmower outside at the back of his truck; it took about 40 minutes. He sharpened the blades, changed the filter, changed the oil, checked it out for problems, and cleaned it up. It was nice to have someone come to the house so I didn't have to put it in the car and take it somewhere. It was convenient and a fair price I thought; it was so easy I would have him come again.

This is my third year using Mow Better and they are outstanding. Chris does such a great job tuning up my push mower. This has definitely extended the life of my mower. I would recommend them highly.
