I looked on Angie's List and found MowBetter/Chris Arvin and sent an email. He responded quickly with a reply and a phone call because he was going to be in Carmel that day. So we set up an appointment. It was raining when he came, but he was able to back his small truck into the garage where the snow blower was waiting. He did a fine job and gave me a tutorial on how to use the blower since my husband is ill and unable to get out of the house. Mow Better's Angie's List special was $63 compared to the estimate of $85 by another company (plus the other company was certain we would need parts, and also required that I deliver and pick it up.) I felt the convenience of Mow Better coming to my home and then the work that was done without the need for extra parts was really a good deal.

They were great! They showed up on time and got the mower running in no time at all.

Feel it went well as the snowblower has fired when needed especially w/the Blizzard of 2012

I bought the service from Angie's list and scheduled the service. The service was completed before I even hoped it would be. Chris called me to let me know that the blade on one mower had been bent beyond repair. He is ordering a new blade and we will schedule another visit when the blade arrives. This was so much better than transporting the mowers to a repair shop. I will certainly use Chris' service again next year.

Not sure what the and quot;Angie's Listand quot; question, and quot;Would you like to share your review with neighbors on Our Block?and quot; specifically means, or in other words not sure what would be required of me, so that box is not checked.

I've used Mow Better in the past and have been satisfied with the work. The best part is that Chris came right to the house and the service is done right in your driveway. No folding up the mower, dirt and grass getting everywhere on your clothes and in the trunk of the car, not having to travel to and from some service shop two different days. Chris had the service done in about 45 minutes and then told me what to watch for in the coming year. I would definitely recommend his service.

The owner came out as sceheduled and on time. Our snow blower had not been used for two years and would not start. He cleaned the jet on the carburator and showed me how to do it in the future. Excellent service!!

Everything went well. He was on time , completed the work in a timely manner, and seemed very knowledgeable. I plan on having him tune-up my lawn mower on a regular basis.

Everything went great from start to finish. Chris was very polite and efficient, and I felt his prices were reasonable. I'd used a local mower shop to perform my mower maintenance in the past and it was definitely over $100 as opposed to Chris' charge of $58. Plus, I didn't have to transport my mower to a shop since he comes directly to your house.

Everything went very well. He was on time, which in my situation was very important. I asked when making the initial phone call about how long it would take because I needed to be at a meeting the day I was scheduling this appointment. He showed up on time and completed the job within the specified time frame. Also, he was very courteous and did a quality job.

The work was done on site. It was done within one week of ordering the Big Deal.

I called Mow Better the day after the Blizzard of 2012. I spoke with Chris Arvin, the owner of Mow Better. He came out approximately 2 hours after I called. He came to my house and repaired my snow blower within 30 minutes of arrival. He charged $50. He was very professional and courteous. I couldn't have asked for a better experience or outcome. I highly recommend Mow Better!

Service was great. My mower is 11 years old and having problems. Mow Better found some big issues with the mower and explained them to me in great detail. When asked how much it would cost to fix these issues, he was honest and let me know that the prices would outweigh the price of a new mower and would not by me enough life on the old mower. I'll be investing in a new mower this spring. I found Mow Better to be extremely trustworthy and honest.

We had used Mow Better to service our mower last year and just as then the service and price were great. Chris always responds quickly and fits his service to our schedule. We will definitely continue using Mow Better. It's a pleasure to not have to haul or mower or pick it up for service.

Mow Better is a great service for those of us who do not wish to or do not have a means to take our lawn mowers and snow blowers in for servicing. I used Mow Better for the first time in 2011 and was so happy with my first experience using this type of service that this year I contacted Angie's List to see if Mow Better would be having another 'Big Deal' for 2012. The owner, Chris Arvin is a very nice honest gentleman. He was prompt, knowledgeable and just an all-around nice guy. This year, I recommended Mow Better to 2 of my neighbors and a family member, all of which used this service and like me were quite satisfied. I will certainly rely on Mow Better for all my lawn mower and snowblower servicing in the future.

Chris showed up promptly at the arranged time,diagnosed the problems, performed the repairs right out in the driveway, and was on his way in less than an hour. Very friendly and efficient, and I didn't have to haul the equipment anywhere!

Set up an appointment and Chris came out to look at my snowblower. It wasn't used at all last year and wouldn't go this year. He cleaned out the carb and got it running again. Fast work and a great to your door service. I'd definitely recommend him!

Worked quickly and efficiently, very good deal for the price. I would use him again and would recommend to others. So much easier for him to come to my home than lugging mowers around town in my Toyota.

It took a little while to receive the call back to schedule the service but when it was scheduled, the service was prompt and now I have used the snow blower and it has started every time and woks well. Thanks for the service
