In the past, I have taken the mower to a local shop to have a tune-up. I have had to call a friend to have help loading and unloading the mower since I cannot lift it by myself. The fact the Mr. Arvin came to my home to do the work was the major reason I chose him this year. In the past, my mower has been in the shop for 2 or 3 weeks waiting for it to be worked on. With Mr. Arvin coming to my home, it was done in an hour! The price was right too. I will definetely use his services in the future. Very convenient.

They responded quickly to my message, showed up on time, and performed the service quickly. It was extremely convenient. My only concern is that I don't think they do as thorough of a job as others I have tried. They did not even change the air filter, which I believe is a key thing to do in a tune-up. They did sharpen the blade but not sure what other tune-up service was provided as it was all performed in their truck. The mower came out as dirty as it went in as well - usually my mower comes back totally clean, or at least wiped down.

I did not need to be present since machine was in the shed. I found the company arrived and performed the work as planned leaving behind a card to indicate the work completed. I did not need to use the machine from Oct. 2011 until March 2013 and I never even fired it up in between. However when a big snow came late in March I got it out and it started right away!

We were pleased to have our lawn mower repaired at home rather than having to put it on a uhaul and bring it in for service. The person was courteous, prompt and knew what he was doing. We would definitely use his services again.

He is punctual, knowledgeable, and efficient. He has his own business and he is the only employee. He came out to our house to fix it and came within four days of when I contacted him. He emphasizes the fact that he will come to your home. He also works on the lawn mowers and sharpens the blades. I will definitely use him in the future and on his business card, I have put in with the instructions "not only for the snow blower but also for the lawn mower."

Mow Better finished everything on schedule. There was one thing I didn't like about them.

This was a great deal. He arrived at my house promptly at the expected time. He has a big truck that he does his work in. He took my lawnmover and serviced it and got it ready for next Spring. About 45 minutes later it was all done. So much easier than trying to take it somewhere myself. I will definitely use this service again.

Mr. Arvin pulled up in his truck and had everything in it. I didn't even have to make room in my garage for him to work in.

I had purchased this Big Deal the year before and had been very pleased with it. However, this year it was more of an average performance than the previous year had been. It was a little disappointing that the mower wasn't as clean as last year.

It was really convenient. I just left my mower outside and they came and took care of everything, cleaning it, tuning it up and sharpening the blades. It looked brand new when I got home!

I purchased this service as part of an Angie's list Big Deal Coupon. Prices were great because it's winter, after spring starts services obviously cost more. It was a simple process to schedule the appointment. He was punctual-actually early by 30 minutes- so I was not ready for him when he arrived. It all worked out ok. His truck is awesome and organized-all the items he would need to fix any problems he might find were at his fingertips. After he finished the tune up, everything was all cleaned up.

Repairman (owner) was courteous, knowledgeable and on time. He came to the house! A pleasure to work with and would gladly use his services again.

The service was purchased as part of the Big Deal and was pleased with how easy it was. All I had to do was leave my mower out so he could service it. It was cleaned up, tuned up and sharpened all while I was at work. Sure beats loading up the mower in the car and taking it somewhere!
