This was an Angie List Big Deal. The company responded very quickly to schedule the service. The technician was very personable and kept me informed. Apparently the carburetor was blown but he was able to remedy this without any additional charge. (I guessed at the cost because I couldn't navigate away from the page (without losing everything I'd entered) to check for certain)

Purchased the Angie's deal and informed him that our lawn mower was a zero turn mower. He subtracted the Angie's list price and I paid the difference since the coupon was for a self propelled mower. He showed up ahead of time and performed the work in the rain on Halloween. Changed oil in the mower and snow blower and sharpened the blade on the mower. Very professional and would use him again.

Chris arrived promptly. Explained the work he was going to do. After completing the job he told me what he did. He did not leave a mess and was completed in less than 30 minutes. I was very satisfied with the work.

Individual showed up on time at my house and within 30 minutes had completed the service. As a side note my snow blower was an older model at least 10 15 years old and he had no problems with parts or the repair. I will be using him from now on for my repairs on my lawn mowers and if needed again my snow blower. I like that he comes to my home and I know longer have to worry about transporting my equipment to a local shop. I am disabled and in the past I had to have friends help me with getting my equipment loaded and repaired. His Price was at least $20.00 dollars cheaper than the local companies.

Chis is very knowledgeable in care and maintenance of small engines. He's a true professional... arrived on-time in his rolling repair van, went right to work and did an excellent job. Now, we are scheduling Chris to come back to service 3 gasoline generators.

it went great. got a call the night before confirming the appointment and he showed up on time. he fixed everything on the mower that was broken. we had to buy a belt for the mower because he doesn't keep them on hand but that was no problem at all. he was very good and I would highly recommend him to all my friends and family.

My mother did wish that small repairs could have been made at the same time as the tune up, but everything went well aside from that. The gentleman did the work as promised, arrived on time, and stuck to the price.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went real well. He charged exactly what was on the coupon. I liked that he came to the house so I didn't have to take it anywhere. He had everything in his trailer and he pulled the trailer into the driveway. He moved the mower into the trailer and went to work.

I was able to leave my mower out for Chris and he did the job while I was at work. Very convenient!! They are always very nice and efficient. I love not having to haul my mower to a shop for service.

We found Chris from Mow Better this morning on Angie's List. We called because our John Deere riding mower would not stay running when the blade was engaged. We were able to get on his appointment list for today! We were told that he should be able to get to us between noon - 2. Chris called shortly after noon to advise that he was on his way to our house. We were out running errands, and I told him that he might make it there before we would, and that he would find the mower in our driveway. We arrived about 10 minutes after he did, and he had already diagnosed the problem! It turned out to be a simple fix! After speaking with Chris about his minimum service call (only $50!), we decided to go ahead and have him do a full service tune-up and sharpen the blades. We had neglected to do any service on the mower for a few years, and Chris has it running and cutting beautifully!! We will continue to use Mow Better for all of our future mower services, and will refer our family/friends to him without hesitation!!

Chris had been out to winterize my mower as part of an AL Big Deal. Then in July, I had to call him out again to replace the mower blade. He is very punctual, professional, and friendly.

I've used them a couple of times and it was absolutely fine. It's a single individual that owns the company. The fact that he can do the work right at my home since the snow blower weighs almost 200 lbs is very nice. He seemed very competent.
