Deck Pro

It was super convenient scheduling as I didn't have to be at home. I got a quote left at my door and the work began shortly thereafter. I was short 1 gallon of stain so they offered to pick one up on the way. The deck wasn't in the best shape to begin with, but it definitely looks better now.

Jason contacted me because it had been two years since he last did the deck (loved that he tracked that so I didn't forget). We had a slight weather delay but the work was done on time and well done -- same as last time. Gave me a nice discount for being a repeat customer.

They were reasonably priced for all the work they did. Showed up on time and did careful + quality work. Deck looks great and given its size, they were more than fair.

Actually came to wash the deck before the scheduled time as he was nearby and previous job was completed early . This alone earns an A+... We were out of town , so Deck Pro moved grill and plants off the deck and went ahead and washed without letting us know . The plants around the deck took quite a hit from the pressure which is expected , but I had planned to provide extra protection had I been home . This was in the spring . Now that it has rained a bit the last few days , I notice the deck boards do not have water standing on them although a clear coat sealer was applied . Also when wet, the top board that lies flat on the railing and visible from my kitchen window, looks pretty bad . I can see when the pressure washer left a squiggly trail on the board and it looks dark and unsealed . I was home when they came back to seal it . It was done so fast that I went out to offer a drink and he was gone ! I had to call to see if he was finished and if he even sealed it . Maybe this is the way they all go but for close to $400.00, I did expect it to look better . We own a pressure washer and usually do the deck ourselves but this year that wasn't possible . These days , having a company actually call back, show up and do the job agreed upon is great tho . And all involved were very pleasant to work with .

The work was done on time and the initial quality appeared good. It's now 18 months later (roughly I think), and the top coating is peeling. I will contact the provider to see if they can/will do anything about that.

Deck Pro 1. Husband contacted 09/11/2017 by filling out form on the website 2. Jason texted my husband 9/13 and asked if it was ok to come by that morning - it was 3. Jason came by 09/13, reviewed issue with husband, we asked for an estimate on fixing damage to railing + replacing all deck boards with composite 4. Said he would have estimate to us that very afternoon - he didn"t 5. Husband texted him 9/15, 9/18 and 9/19 6. It is now 9/24/2017 and we have heard nothing.

The washing was for the most part successful, but due to age or strength of the wash a number of deck boards were destroyed. This probably was to be expected, but that information was not provided by Deck Pro ahead of time which would have made it easier to assess project timing and additional cost for repair. The repairs were not possible by Deck Pro due to the size of the materials comprising the deck, so additional work had to be contracted. To maintain consistent appearance now with new and old materials comprising the deck, the original plan not to stain became a requirement to stain which required additional scheduling with Deck Pro. They were conscientious with staining several weeks later to try and make the new and old materials appear consistent.

Jason responded promptly to my request for a quote to stain my deck. The quote was good. He completed the power wash and stain within a week. He did an excellent job! He also replace a board. My deck looks new again!

Cleaning great. Stain for deck did not take on 6 boards in center of deck. Said would come back and re-stain these pieces but he never came back.

It was fine. If I had it to do again, I would probably choose a stain with a little more color rather than clear. That was my choice, not the providers.

The work was done promptly, done very well and at a very good price. It went a little slow for my taste. Everything was done when he said it would get done. I would like to have a little more responsiveness with communication and email, he did apologize for being late at getting back with me. I would like to hear back from people within 24 hours.

It went well, not only did they stain the deck, they also did a small retaining wall not originally in the quote.

The first interaction was poor and then I never heard back.

The deck looks great and they did a nice, thorough job with both the treating and staining. There was no over-spray or stain on the house (even though the deck butts up against it) and it looks 100% better! The cost included all materials and Jason provided an alkyd oil stain from Porter Paints - we'll see how it holds up, but for now we're very pleased with the results.

Used Angie's List discount offer. Deck is 600 square feet. Deck Pro power-washed the surface, tightened screws and replaced nails as needed, treated surface for mildew and fungus, and applied semi-opaque stain with two-year guarantee. Appeared on scheduled date, completed work in short time. Definitely would use again.

Very professional. Easy to work with, But could not do the work.

Jason did a great job power washing my deck and staining it. He also made an offer to power wash my driveway and front porch. Everything looks fantastic and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely hire him again.
