Deck Pro

Jason worked with us and removed some panels on our deck so that we could have our siding done on our home. We continually reached out to him as he asked us to when the siding was completed so that he could come back and put the panels back, while continuing the job of power washing and staining. He did not respond with our efforts, however I emailed him and he responded that he would add us to his schedule a month out. We were patient with this and waited. He comes to our home and places some of of the boards back on the deck and tells me that he has to leave to go get pricing and rethink measurements, but that he will be back later in the day. He never came back. He left several panels laying in place across our deck with many nails sticking up out of board 2 inches out of the board. We received an email the following day basically telling us he won’t be coming back because our deck measurements were off with our new siding and that it was too much for him to invest any more time. He didn’t even refer us or help us make any connection with another company that could have helped. He wasn’t man enough to tell me to my face to pound sand he had to do it through email. Very unprofessional and seriously lacks integrity.

I've used Deck Pro on a regular basis. Jason does a great job. He's very efficient and my plants don't end up splashed with deck stain, always a plus!

Jason pressure washed and stained both of our decks. This is the second time we have used Jason. He is great. The stain he uses looks amazing and he is lower priced than most.

Went great, Deck Pro quickly scheduled an appointment for the estimate, then was able to schedule the deck to be power washed within a week, and stained two days after being power washed. The deck looks great and their work came with a two year warranty.

Jason was always very easy to contact. He gave a detailed estimate, and did the job when promised. He replaced broken boards and repaired other boards on my deck. He washed the deck, stripped off the old stain, and restained. It looks great. Would definitely hire him again.

The work exceeded my expectations. The workers showed up on time, worked efficiently, cleaned up afterwards and the deck looks great. This was all for a very fair price. I couldn’t have asked for better.

These guys were easy to work with. Price quote was very competitive. They were very good with the communication of what was going to happen, and what dates they could do the work. They worked with us on the stain color we desired and made it work. The only drawback was that a couple of boards needed repaired that they couldn't address, but this was more related to materials not being available due to Covid...not their willingness to do the repair.

called them for quote and Jason promptly met me at the house and followed up with the price. they power washed one day and stained the next day. i like that they can handle the replacement of bad boards at the same time. Everything looked great!

Would not be honest with me about my project. Would not return my call. Expected more from this provider.

I work from home and he arrived to provide an estimate for the work, but did not call before arriving. I have 2 labs, and he left me a message that the estimate could not be done because of the dogs being in the back yard. I work from home, and would have brought the dogs into the house if he would have called. Also left a message with him about rescheduling, and did not get a call back. I've been an Angies List member for years, and provided nothing but good reviews in the past. It's very disappointing that Deck Pros will not reply to my email, or return my calls. 8/12/20- My response to Deck Pro's response: I provided Angie's List with email attachments and screenshots of my Outlook mailbox proving that the only reply from the service provider was on Friday, May 8th when my 2 labs were out on that specific day. I then responded with, "I'm very sorry to hear about that. Feel free to let me know approximately what time you will be by, or contact me directly by phone" within minutes of his email and included my home and cell phone. I also have a Ring doorbell, and there was no record of him ringing the doorbell Friday, or Saturday. No email or phone call from him since my last email was sent on Friday either. I tried leaving him a voice message a few weeks ago since the original request was part of an Angie's Deal and still needed my deck pressure washed, but still no reply which is the reason for my 'F' rating. Per my original review, I've been with Angie's List for years and never had a situation where the service provider did not contact me by phone. As someone who has been in customer service for over 30 years, it's imperative that you contact the customer directly by phone to setup the appointment, discuss the work that needs to be done, and build that relationship now and in the future. Unfortunately, this did not happen and Deck Pro's lost a customer as a result. Hopefully they learn from this experience and contact customers directly by phone in the future.

Very disappointed overall. After waiting a month between quote and work, representative came out this morning and attempted to power wash the deck. He left after 30 minutes and left a brochure for us to pick a stain color. I immediately called him after being sent pictures of the work by my fiancé, which I forwarded to him. He did not answer or return my call. He then sent me an email saying he was out of town and that he’d spoken to his brother and they were probably going to have to cancel the job as it would require too much work to sand and do the staining and that we said we wanted a light colored stain and that would take 4 or 5 coats to cover. I replied we were considering a different color and that I was surprised and disappointed in that he’d given us a quote having looked at the job and was now not wanting to do the work after we waited a month for him to do it.

He took an old deck and managed to make it look so much better. Great price considering it included deck cleaning, removing the furniture, and the staining. Would absolutely hire again!

Not satisfied with the work. It is already wearing off within 12 months. I feel that I was cheated with a poor quality of the stain.
