Description of Work: Purchased a deal from Angie's for a handyman. I needed some shelves put up and changing of some light bulbs (they are very high up). I needed some electrical done but, my fault, I didn't read job description, he dosen't do electrical. He was very professional and arrived on time. He give me a couple of estimates of things I need done. I will be hiring him to do those projects.

Description of Work: I purchased an Angies List coupon for services. Mr. Gadjen responsed very quickly to my phone call request. I had asked Mr. Gadjen if he did demo work. He said he did and we set a time for him to come over. Mr. Gadjen removed 64 square feet of old tile (that was embeded in cement) from my hallway. It took a little longer than the alotted time for the coupon (which was 2 hours), but I was very impressed with his work and gladly paid him extra for the extra time needed.

+ 2 moreHe's good. He communicates well. Is honest about what he can and can't do. Negotiated the quality level I expected him to achieve before beginning. Asked for clear feedback on the work as it progressed. Showed up at the stroke of time he agreed to. A good guy who's honest and cares about what he does. I'd recommend him whole-heartedly. Be clear on what you expect. If you want home show quality, get a painter or finish carpenter. But Rick did a level of quality that was what I would have done (I have pretty good skills) and stopped to check in whenever there were choice points.
Description of Work: I had unfinished work on a downstairs in which I had put up walls and done initial room building work. Rick came in and installed trim on floors and doors, and painted both walls and trim. He also did work finishing acoustical ceiling tile and frame that I needed completed.
