He told me he would respond within 4 weeks to replace a window but was busy with yard cutting and promised to do the job within 4 weeks if I would be patient. 6 months later and see him with yard cutting equipment all over town but he did not even attempt to contact me again. Do not trust him to carry out his promises.

Storm door was good however the caulking was bad. Turned black in a couple weeks and holes appeared where it didn't adhere and made more of a mess in the winder sill than it was before. Very unprofessional.

This was the second time we hired Rick to do yard work for us. He is a very fast worker! He showed up on time, did exactly what we wanted, cleaned up after himself, and was on his way. This job was trimming one row of overgrown bushes, and cutting back three overgrown areas in the backyard. One area included a healthy growth of poison ivy. He left all areas neat and tidy - and did exactly what needed to be done.

Did a good job! Will use again! He cleaned up 2 big piles of wood chips from trees we had cut down Mowed, trimmed, hauled some items away.

I live out of state and recently inherited a house that needed some minor repairs before hitting the market. Rick provided an estimate that was very competitive, but this written estimate had to be mailed to me (rather than sent via email), which delayed matters. Ultimately I chose to go with another handyman who was more adept at communcating with me.

This fellow is very courteous, friendly, efficient, punctual, and he did everything we needed him to do in a timely and efficient manner. We would hire him again.

it just looked bad when it was completed.....

I did not like him at all. He really is a former restaurant owner who is trying to make through hard times by doing this but he really doesn’t know how to do anything special. I had to redo almost all of the work that he did. I had bought two coupons and I didn’t use the second one. He also had an argument about the fact that I had two; he said nobody could buy a second one and I said, well I did but I would not use him again. He had a really bad attitude and was not pleasant to work with. He did very little for the time he spent, so it just didn’t work out well. He couldn’t figure out how to put up the bracket, I kept trying to show him what would work, it took most of his time to put that up, and it was not put up correctly. He didn’t do much and when I saw what he was able to do, I didn’t want him to do much to be honest.

The work was fine. I hoped to get more work done but he did get the project done and he worked hard to finish it. He even stayed over a little to get the work done. He did a very nice job with the work.

I made my to-do list prior to calling Rick (the owner). He came over and gave me an estimate for everything on my list, then suggested a few additional maintenance items to consider - small things, like caulking and repairing rotted window trim. Rick is very much into preventative maintenance, which I appreciate. Throughout the walk-through he told me explicitly how he was going to attack each task and asked for my feedback. By the time we finished we both had a clear understanding of what was to be done. With my to-do list in hand, Rick said he would pick up the necessary supplies and call me when he had availability. A few days later he called and we agreed upon a time for him to start. Over the course of two half days visits, he completed all the tasks on my list plus the maintenance items that he suggested. He didn't ask to be paid or reimbursed for supplies until the after all the tasks were finished. This made settling up a breeze. I'm very happy with the repairs. They were all completed to professional grade. Rick was a pleasure to work with - always friendly, prompt, and fair. I will definitely call upon him again.

I knew it would be hard to find someone to do these small jobs, as I didn't have a lot of work to offer. They did a great job, though! He gave good advice that it would be better to take patio doors back to the hardware store rather than pay him to deal with them.

What's Next Home Improvements were good. I used them before. I like that the handyman guy is licensed to do like electricity, HVAC and everything, one guy can do everything.

Definitely a 4 **** experience! Very personable, cooperative and "up front" about what he will/can do and what he will be able to do. We will be calling him for work this fall, more in the line of repairs and fix-ups. We are very comfortable with this company. Highly recommend, but don't keep him too busy-----------we need him in the future.

Very pleased. The only drawback is that he wouldn't do any plumbing or electrical jobs, even if they were relatively minor, like changing an outdoor spigot. Other than that, I was happy with the service.

Rick was courteous , fast and did a great job. He looked at the job on Friday ,met me and did most of the work on Sunday and came back to finish on Monday morning.

He arrived a little late but apologized upon entering. He asked what needed to be done and I lead hin around the house showing him. He proceeded to do the smoke detectors first then the light bulbs. Next I showed him the window film and him showed him where to put it. He stated he had never worked with window film before but he felt confident he could do the job. He proceed to read the instruction and applied the window film. Upon completion he went outside and cleaned my storm door and the windows next to the door. The job looks great! I will definitely use him again.

The jobs I asked him to do were done well. He is friendly, punctual and open to most work except electrical. He indicated to me that he does a lot of lawn mowing mostly in the summer and then indoor room painting in the winter.

He was prompt and efficient. No problem were encountered.

His name is Rick Gadgen. My husband hired him and he continues to do work for me. He is very honest and personable. He does a good job. He is clean, and cleans up after himself. He will go the extra mile if he needs to, and doesn’t try to get out of things. I trust him.
