He was very prompt, courteous and professional. He did everything he were supposed to do and more! He cleaned up after himself and did a great job. The stairwell looks great and it was inexpensive!

Brian responded to our request quickly and presented a detailed estimate for the work. After we accepted the estimate he immediately began working on the project. The work was completed in a few days and came in under the estimate.

Everything Hoosier Daddy Woodwork has done for me has been very good. I have more work for them coming up, putting up some trim. They were very helpful in providing a list of other people that they work with and have a good reputation in the area, as well.

I called Brian about 10 days ago to get an estimate on repairing two exterior doors in my recently purchased home. Both doors had large gaps at the top that we didn't catch at the inspection, letting light and air in. The first company I called (not Hoosier Handyman) suggested an adjustment at the hinges, and quoted a price twice as much as Brian. Brian's solution was to put on a new gasket to extend the seal without moving the door. When looking at the frame, I suggested he look at adjusting the hinges. He explained to me that while solving the top gap, it would create new problems, either a gap at the bottom, or the lock, or rub the frame on the opposite side of the door. He then thoroughly explained why the seal would work instead, explained the product that was available at the hardware store, and quoted me the a price around $90 for both doors (two $25 kits, and $20/door for labor). At that point, I could have said "thanks, I'll do it myself", but he was so thorough, I wanted to pay him for the work. He came out the next day (he was available the same day, but I wasn't), and began to work. After sealing the front door, he had only used part of the kit, so he offered to return the second one and just use the remainder on the other door. I agreed, saving me $25. He then knocked another $5 off because it didn't take as much work, showing me his honesty! After about 30 minutes, both doors were sealed properly, and all was well. Since he was here, I couldn't help but ask him to give me a ballpark figure on a couple other projects, since he saved me so much on this one. I will definitely be using Brian for those projects, and anything else I need done around the house!

Everything went very well. He showed up exactly when he said he would & came back when he said he would. He told us he would be here 2-3 days, but ended up finishing in 2 days. Again, we are very pleased with Brian. He has great woodworking skills. Our house is difficult to work in (tight space). He never complained & was such a pleasure to work with.

Brian was punctual, hard working and easy to work with. He kept a professional demeanor and did exemplary work. He made the whole job go smoothly and even finished ahead of schedule.

He went over and above what I asked him to do. He helped me shop. In general, he just did a really good job. The overall experience was excellent.

The representative from Hoosier Daddy Woodwork was very professional and punctual. I was very happy with the service he provided. Hoosier Daddy Woodwork went above and beyond on this project even doing some stuff that I did not even tell him to do.

I’ve used Brian for several projects now. The last job took a little longer than we thought it would, but it wasn't his fault. The wall had a lot more material in it than both of us thought. He has previously removed 2 walls, framed openings, installed attic drop steps, and made stairs for me. The framed opening was excellent. He is very knowledgeable, honest, doesn't cut corners and uses the best stuff. He is my main source for any type of home improvement needs I have. I will definitely keep using him. It can be hard to get in contact with him and schedule a time, but it is worth it.
