Tom arrived on time with a smile and a hand shake. He not only provided the "Preventive Exterior Pest Treatment" to my home, but also to my shed in the backyard. I told him about my new found carpenter bees and mud-dobbers, and he took car of spraying for them too. My dogs were no problem, I just needed to keep them away while he sprayed. Tom was personable and professional. I will definitely have them back.

They initially inspected the house to find where the mice were getting in. Then they plugged up holes behind the insulation in the basement and a hole in the base board of a kitchen cabinet that was a path for the mice from the basement. Next they set out two different types of traps, some with bait. I have not seen any mice since the treatment.

It was fine. They came out a couple months ago and I didn't spend anything extra. Nothing in particular stood out. They're dependable and they came when they said they would.

There were no troubles with scheduling and there were no additional costs beyond the prepaid cost of the deal. Everything turned out very well.

It went beautifully. The service person, John, was professional and personable. He did not try to sell me services we don't need. The indoor termite inspection was free and the outside spraying went well. The company ill be back in three months for another spraying. On top of everything, the dogs like Mr. John and he was kind to them. We highly recommend Franklin - and they are local.

It was easy to set up the first appointment and they arrived promptly as scheduled. We've had great results so far. We had some ants in the house and I haven't seen any ants in the last several weeks.

After following the Angie's list offer details, I purchased the Big Deal and was later contacted, via email by Janelle at KY Pest Control, that my info was given to Susan for further scheduling. After this email, I received another email from Janelle explaining that I was out of their service area. According to the Big Deal, Taylorsville was included. Janelle apologized, but if you look back at past feedback, this "zoning" issue is a repeat issue with KY Pest Control. Janelle explained that it was Angie's List that made the mistake. That may be true, but I would hope businesses would check to make sure their advertisements are accurate when printed/posted. My account was debited immediately when the Big Deal purchase was made, but it was approximately two weeks to see the money returned. Also, it became a use of my time to make the refund occur. Janelle was very pleasant and other reviews talk highly of their work, but be aware before you buy to make sure you're in the right zone.

I had an issue with a type of "stink" bug, they came out several times to try and take care of them. They were very responsive to my request

It went very well. We were happy with the service. We have signed up an annual contract with them. The guy who came and did the work was Mac. He did an excellent job. He's very thorough and trustworthy. I just really like him. The price was fine.

I originally ordered this pest control treatment b/c we were having a problem with what we thought were 'yellow sack' spiders (which they weren't). The technician arrived on the date/time promised. I showed him the problem...he was very knowledgeable on the subject and explained what kind of spiders they were and what he was going to do to fix the problem. He spent about an hour at our home spraying on the main levels and a good deal of time in our basement (unfinished). Then he proceeded to go spray the exterior of the home - removing cobwebs as he went. He was friendly, professional and I felt like he listened to our problem and did what he could to fix it. Since my toddler was home at the time...he took extra precautions, knowing that I had children, and explained how long the pesticides needed to dry, ect. We no longer have a spider problem! I will use this company again and again.

I took advantage of a special on Angie's list for extermination service. Payment was made in advance and the company contacted me right away to schedule the visit. When the serviceman came onsite he told me the service only included one floor (my house is two stories plus a basement) but he said "that was OK" and proceeded to lay down traps in the areas of the house where we had seen mice. At the end of the service he gave me a bill for $149. I explained that the service was pre-paid through Angie's list and showed the serviceman the receipt from Angie's List. I have received a bill each month from Franklin Pest Control for the service. So the service itself was OK - I have not seen anymore mice but the "special" has not gone smoothly as there seemed to be a breakdown in expectations as to what was included in the service and how the service would be paid. This is still an outstanding issue. Hopefully it can be resolved before the coupon expires on 3/27/14.

Had traces of mice in the house and called KY Termite & Pest Control. Scheduling was easy and they were readily available to come to the house. (thankfully!) The technician came out the next day and was on time and ready to get to work. The service was efficient and thorough. The technician was friendly and knowledgeable. He made us feel very comfortable about asking questions and took the time to explain what he was doing. All-in-all a very positive experience and have since signed up for their annual service contract.

Scheduling was prompt. The service was fine. They sprayed the exterior of my house.

He identified and fixed several "points of entry" and set out several different kinds of traps. He then came back a week or two later for follow-up to make sure we weren't having any new issues. We've also signed up for their quarterly service for pest control ($90 per visit). We haven't seen any more signs of rodent activity and find many fewer insects in the house. We are able to call at any time between visits if we start having a problem. Matt is knowledgeable, personable and nice to work with.

He was nice and answer ed all my questions. This application definitely helped a bug problem I was having.

We made our appointment 1 month prior. Matt was at our house right on time. He explained the inspection then went to work. After the inspection he explained the process and proceeded to apply the insect repellant. An area I especially like was the removal of spider webs and the closing of openings where bugs could go into the house. We were very happy and signed on to a quarterly service.
