Called in morning for someone to come out since my air conditioner stopped working. It was frozen up. Eric was at my house by that evening and fixed it. My house is nice and cool again. Thank you so much!!

Not good. I did not feel that the company made any effort to keep cost down. I have one rental house. the blower fan would not turn off. Made an appointment to have it looked at by Wayne Heating and A.C.. It was $96 for first half hour, $96 an hour after. The tech called me from the location to inform the motherboard was bad. It did not have to be replaced, but the blower fan would run continuously and cost a few bucks extra a month if not. I asked how much it would be. He told me less than $400. I assumed the part was the majority of the expense. I was wrong. Now the job did not have to be done right away. I guess the tech did not have the part with him. He could have went to his next appointment and finished later or another day when in the area to keep cost down. Instead, he went for a drive to the parts store to pick the board up and continued to charge me $96 an hour for the stroll. The bill came in with the part costing $170 and the labor costing $240 which is 2 1/2 hours. I asked a friend who knows about such things how long it would take to replace a motherboard. He said not long. So I guess I mainly paid for a truck ride at $100 per hour. I called and spoke with the owner who immediately took a defensive tone and when I said most places have a reduced rate for driving he said gas is $4 a gallon and wear and tear on the vehicle. It is less than 15 miles. mileage is maybe .75$ for a van? so $20 of $100 for expenses plus employee expense? We seemed to agree to disagree about the justification of the expense. I also asked about the quote of less than $400. He did apologize for that and told me to pay $400, but only because his service techs have been told NOT to give price quotes and he will talk to them. WHAT? How could I possibly decide to have a repair that is not necessary if I do not know how much it will cost? How could I make an informed decision? So, I paid the bill and this is my recourse. I strongly suggest against utilizing Wayne Heating. I would go somewhere else.

Came out for an appointment to give an estimate and was puntual and profeesional. Did the job on time and budegt. left my home as clean as when the arrived.

I have used them for over 10 years and I have referred them to my clients. The price I paid included the repair. They do excellent work and are reasonably priced. They are reliable.
