Description of Work: Premier did an excellent job. Ron (owner) came to our house to get measurements. We originally planned to replace multiple windows, but ending up doing only one- by our choice. Very professional and had no problem with changing contract within the 3 day period. Installers were great - knew what they were doing and performed the installation quickly.

Description of Work: This is a follow-up to my original comment about Premier Window Systems. A few days after I commented that I had been waiting 4 months for replacement parts for my windows, which were warrantied by Alside, I went to Premier's office to inquire. The girl there checked my file, couldn't find it, then checked in a drawer and found two bags of parts that she thought might be the kind that I needed for my windows. They didn't look familiar to me, so she said she would ask the window guy when he came in. She said he could come out the next day, Friday, between 12 and 2, or maybe even today. I said I would be in and out today, but would have my cell phone with me so she could call and let me know if the parts were the kind I needed and when the repairman could come out. No call on Thursday. I called around 10:30 on Friday and lo, she said he could come out that day around noon. He did, in fact, come at 11:30, and fixed the windows to my satisfaction. I thought the repairman was professional and skillful, but I wonder how long the parts had sat in the drawer while I waited for the office to call, and I wonder why the office never called me concerning the repairman coming out. I would give the repairman an A, but Premier's customer service a lower rating. I am very glad to have the windows fixed at last.

Description of Work: Tony and Ron took a great deal of time to understand our needs. They responded to countless email questions, and truly went above and beyond expectations to help us understand what we really wanted in our project. We ultimately decided on Andersen Renewal windows, which can only be installed by one shop in our region, so we couldn't work with them. We decided to send a consulting fee for all the time they gave us as we figured out what we wanted.

Description of Work: Our project involved a front door with a side light, a storm door, and patio door with shades between the glass panels.At the business end of the process, the salesman arrived with a presentation of materials, options, and prices. He was very patient and thorough in his explanations; he was especially accessible whenever I called later with new questions. premier was also flexible when I made a change in the design plan. All this created a very positive and accomodating atmosphere. As far as materials and installation, things also went exceptionally well. The doors we selected are obviously of high quality and are still as tight as a drum. Everything the salesman promised turned out to just as he said. The crew was friendly and very reliable. Also, we were very happy with their meticulous finishing pf details. They were clearly skilled and experienced. Service since installation has been prompt and cheerful, even though it was minor. For example, the door hardware on one door had an imperfect finish, and the company replaced it right away. No big deal, no putting us off--just good service.Premier Windows is a first-class operation every step of the way. My neighbor also had them replace a door,and some windows and had equally good results. We plan on contacting Premier again for replacement windows.

+ 1 moreThey were awesome to work with! It’s a family-owned business. They were very helpful and knowledgeable; what they said about the windows was true. They were very reputable, arrived on time, and did a great job with the installation. They got the job done in a timely manner. They were willing to work with us and their price was decent, actually the lowest that we received out of several other companies. We even purchased a gift for our kids; they helped us pick out the right door for them. It was a good experience overall; they really went above and beyond and I would highly recommend them! The windows also came with the lifetime warranty; we had a problem with one of the windows. They sent out a technician quickly to replace the window with no questions or problems.
Description of Work: They replaced some thermal-pane windows in our back sunroom. They installed three new panels and replaced some rotted wood as well.

+ -1 moreThey replaced gutters, soffit and fascia. My home is from the 1950’s, so they replaced the wood with vinyl. Overall, the experience was good. The job was done within 3 days. Their price was in the middle. They were very good with cleaning up after themselves. Afterwards, I had a few questions and issues; they quickly came out to take care of it. Almost a year later, just this past June, I had a small problem with the soffit, which they took care of within a week after I called. There were a few things that I would’ve done differently, but overall, they did a good job.

He points out things that need to be done or on’t need to be done, then comes up with the best ways to do them if needed. He also follows up and is very good with keeping in touch. + 0 moreTom came out to give us an estimate. He was very detailed and explained everything very well. When he was talking about all of the benefits of the windows and siding I was thinking this will be really expensive. It was not. The old windows were taken out and a new bay window was put in. They replaced all of the trim around the window and stained it along with the seat of the window. It was done in oak. They tore off the old siding, put up new insulation and put up the new siding. While the workers were here the owner came out to check up on things. Nice guy. The house looks beautiful. The work they did was awesome. The best part was they were much lower than the previous estimate we had, and we got much more for our money. Finally we hired a company that did the work in the time they said it would take and everything went smooth!!
Description of Work: We had our front window replaced with a bay window. We had them take off the old siding on our gables and put up new scalloped siding.

+ 0 moreFrom the time Ron came and measured and we decided on the types of windows I new I had picked the right company. He took his time and explained everything. There were 2 guys that installed the windows and they did a great job. They were friendly and had to work under rainy conditions. Cleaned up the sight . They were a down home company and did their work with pride and it showed.
Description of Work: removed 5 windows. 2 were big windows. Replaced with all new . Replaced entry and storm doors.

+ 1 moreI was very pleased with our previous roofing contractor's performance 15 years earlier, but Premier Windows outclassed our previous contractor in every aspect starting with a very thorough inspection and evaluation of needed work and the appropriate recommendations for improvements that were noted and acceptedby us. Premier Windows team was a very organized team, like a NASCAR pit team: everyone knew their jobs and were very efficient in their roles. The entire job was done in 2 days and it was as if they had never been there, for instance I found only 1 nail left behind. A couple days later Premier Window performed a final inspection with me and we noted a few minor items requiring touch-up, which were completed the next day. Overall I don't expect that anyone really looks forward jobs such as roof replacement but this time I feel like our money was wisely and well spent. In fact, Premier Windows estimate was about $1,000 higher than another estimate we received but I feel that we received attention to detail and quality that well justified the extra $1K.
Description of Work: Teardown of old shingles and installation of replacement shingles and related flashings. Improvements to roof ventilation. Also some new siding and replacement of rotted wood.

My next door neighbor loved what she saw & is having her roof replaced by Premier. In the future, I will call Premier regarding new siding & 6 replacement windows. Premier installed a bow window in my living room in 2009. It's BEAUTIFUL..... GREAT people, GREAT service, GREAT company!!!
Description of Work: Premier Windows is a GREAT company!! Sales personnel are extremely knowledgable, courteous & very pleasant. I have a tri-level home that needed a new roof, soffit, facia, gutters & downspouts. Premier fit the bill. The roofers laid drop cloths around the house to catch any nails & debris, tore off the old roof, replaced ply wood, added vents & cleaned up afterwards. This took a day and a half. Excellent work!! The soffit/facia team came, tore off all the old, including gutters/downspouts, replaced any rotted wood & had all new materials replaced, cleaned up & completed in a day and a half. Wonderful job!! The gutter team came in, installed seamless gutters w/oversized down spouts. No gaps, mitred corners, cleaned up & completed in a day. Superb job!! All the installers were prompt, polite, clean cut, dressed well, and drove clean vehicles. They worked efficiently with no wasted time.

+ -1 moreThe whole experience was great. The sales person knew his product, made suggestions to fit our needs & our window was delivered 2 weeks earlier than expected. The install team took extra precautions in & outside of my home. They were dressed appropiately, clean & worked together in harmony. After installatiion was completed, they cleaned up so well, I never would have known they were there. I was shown the operation of the window, given our paperwork with all information we would need & told to call if we had ANY questions at all. This has been the best experience I've ever had when dealing with contractors. They will be first on my list.
Description of Work: I had a 5-lite Bow Window with end operators installed in my living room. My home is over 30 yrs old & a new window would give more attractive curb appeal. I can't believe what a difference in & out a new window made.

+ -1 moreSALES REP CAME TO THE HOUSE FOR MEASUREMENTS, AND SAMPLES OF WINDOWS. VERY NICE PERSON AND POLITE. HE KNOW HIS BUSINESS. WINDOWS WERE ORDERED AND INSTALLED APRROX 3 WEEKS LATER. BEAUTIFUL WINDOWS. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THEM. THE INSTALLERS WERE CLEAN AND FRIENDLY. **Update on June 18, 2012: They?ve been fantastic. I?ve recommended them to four other people that live in my complex. They?re not the cheapest, but I feel like I get what I paid for. In the winter time, I don?t have any drafts coming through the windows at all.

+ 0 moreI was very impressed with the quality of R & J's workmanship. A few days after installation of my windows, the installer stopped by to see if any more caulk was needed. He recaulked one of the windows because it wasn't "perfect." About a month later, I purchased two storm doors from Lowes and since I had such good luck with this company, I requested that someone from Premier Windows, (R & J Construction) install the doors. They also did a really good job installing the doors. I'm very pleased with their workmanship and also their work ethic. The woman I spoke with on the phone to set up installation times was very accomodating and called after installation to ensure that I was satisfied with the installations. I am the secretary for a townhome association and I've checked into some fo the window installations. Some were more expensive and a couple were cheaper. However, the cheaper ones looked cheap...and were not triple pane. and the caulking was terrible. So, I'm happy that I selected Premier Window Systems (R & J Construction).
Description of Work: Installed two triple pane windows in my dining room and two storm doors.
