Working with Premier Window Systems was nothing short of a pleasure. The sales representative that responded to my inquiry clearly explained the work that would be done and made sure my wife and I felt comfortable with the process. Their crew showed up right on time, were courteous, and very detail oriented. They left my home as clean as it was when they arrived. I highly recommend them to any homeowner looking for similar services in the Northwest Indiana area.

They were very punctual and professional. The salesman Larry was awesome, and the installers were great. I had a wonderful experience with them and now my home is warm!!!!!!

My experience went very well. The staff was professional and friendly while visiting. Their pricing was reasonable and I plan on using this company again. I would recommend this company to others.

On my 1950's home I had wood singe pane windows I needed replaced. During winter I would get large amounts of condensation and ice build up. Also I could feel a slight draft and feel the cold radiating through the window. If I left blinds closed I would get enough water to start to mold on the windows. Then during the summer I could feel the hot sun heating up my home and fading my furniture and wood floor. Finally I had enough and decided to look for companies to do my windows. I had over 12 companies come out. Premier stood out by far from these other companies. Tom the sales rep was honest and available for all questions I had. He took me through the ins and outs of shopping for windows and didn't try to upsell me on anything, just gave me the options and info to go along with them so I could make a better decision. After having premier out I had a few more companies come out. One of these companies was willing to undercut premier on price but to my surprise I called tom at premier and he assured me they would match someone else's bid if they were using similar products. So after my research I had tom come out again and I asked more questions and signed a contract. I'm typically very nervous and apprehensive about spending money. Well for the first time when spending this kind of money I didn't have these feelings. I actually felt good about my purchase and the people I went with. I really like that they only have you pay half upfront and the rest after the install and signoff. It took about a month for the windows to be custom made for my home and as soon as they were ready I received a call to set up a install. They were very willing to work around my schedule and they came out on December 27 and finished on December 28. The crew that came out was just great, I was so impressed with there attention to detail and hard work I bought them each pizza and drinks on the second day. The guys cleaned up as they worked and before they left on both days. So the most important part of this review is, how are the windows? Well there AWESOME! On day one of the install they removed the old windows and set the new windows in place and added insulation. They said they would be back the next day to finish caulking and adding the outside trim.. My first night with these new windows, before the caulk and trim was even added I noticed a BIG difference. First difference is I don't hear every car that goes by on my street. Second is the draft is gone and the house feels warmer. Third is I had zero condensation on my windows and this is the middle of winter I remind you. Next is I noticed my furnace is kicking on allot less often. Otherwise less wear and tear on the furnace and less gas used. Very much looking forward to paying the gas company less. Another difference is I can actually open these windows with one hand instead of having to push and pull and pry to open them like my old windows. And by picking the double hung windows I can easily tilt in the windows without going outside to clean them. I will say in the seven years I've been in this house I've never cleaned a window lol. Also these windows feature the double locks where my old windows had only one. This additional lock makes my girlfriend feel safer in the home. Another cool feature is the night time lock. During summer my girlfriend wouldn't allow us to leave the house with the windows open because she feared someone slicing the screen and surprising her inside the home. Well the night time lock allows the window to be partially open while also being locked. With this lock system she says she's comfortable leaving windows open at night and when away from the house. In addition yet another difference I noticed is I don't feel the cold radiating through the windows. During summer I look forward to the windows performing the duty of not allowing the cold air from the ac to radiate out. And finally another thing I look forward to being able to do is have the top and bottom of the window open during summer to create natural air movement. (cooler air coming in through bottom and hotter air that rises leaving through the top half of window. WIth my old single pane, singe hung windows this wasn't possible before. Also with these windows come with a pretty good warranty that the manufacturer (alside) and installer (premiere) guarantees. Besides all the reasons I've stated above for going with this window and installer is I believe they will both be around for years to come. I feel very assured that if I ever have a problem with a window, I wont have a problem getting good service or a replacement/repair. Not to go into all the details of there warranty but I will name a few that stand out for me. First is if the screen ever gets a hole or any damage they will fix it at no cost to you. If there is ever a problem with a window they will come out and fix it. I remind you I had over a dozen window companies come out and I grilled them all on there warranty. Most of these companies offer warranties that sound pretty good. Well ALL of them except premier had hidden costs. For example most of them will charge you a trip fee for coming out to your house or will charge you labor. I asked these questions of premier and they were the only one to say nope we don't do that. To me that says they stand behind there service and product. The only hidden thing I found with there warranty is if a screen gets damaged it's the only thing they won't come to your house to fix. BUT all you have to do is pop out the screen (very easy to do) and stop by there warehouse and they'll fix it totally free of charge. I think this is awesome and none of the other companies offered to fix or replace for free. You may wonder why they won't come out to fix a screen. Well think about if someone has a dog or cat that constantly destroys screens. I can see how there free screen fix would be abused, with making you come to them it helps ensure the customer will at least try to take care of there windows. So to conclude this (small review) I suggest if your looking for a company this is the one to go with. I plan to have a few more things done to my house like a new roof and some siding over some peeling wood on the gable of my brick home. And premiere will for sure be at the top of my list!

We had several companies out to give us a quote on installing new windows. We decided to choose Premier since we felt the most comfortable with their price and presentation. Their sales representative, Tony spent the time to make us feel confident that they were the right choice. When we decided to make an add on after the initial contract, Ron the owner assured us it would be no problem and made the changes for us without any hassle. On installation days, Chris and Mario were very efficient and professional. They made sure everything was covered and left no mess at all. Overall we were thrilled with the new look the windows gave our house and will definitely call them back out for future projects.

Excellent job in explaining the available products and scope of service covered under the contract. The replacement windows were their Preservation Window line, built by Alside Window Company to Premier's specs. All windows except two narrow (~12" wide) had double locks. All are tip-in for cleaning both sides from inside the house. All had full screen option, solid vinyl, welded, double glazed, Lo-E argon, with interior grids. You really need to see the window to be able to compare it to others. I don't recall the R rating, but it was higher than any others. Lots of detail to sealing wind around all the edges. I even liked the design of the weep holes that were less noticeable than in other vendors (we looked at four different ones, including Pella). Lifetime warranty on glass breakage, seal failure of the glass, vinyl cracking/splitting, sliding mechanisms, etc. House is noticeably quieter (less outside noise), especially in high winds. Premier offered various manufacturers of the siding. We wanted double four with a cedar grain in a particular color. They looked to another manufacturer (PlyGem Variform vortex extreme) to find what we wanted. Interlocking system withstands 225 mph winds. Color embedded throughout siding (you can't scratch it off). 16'8" lengths reduces the number of seams over shorter pieces of siding. Rolled double nail hem. .046 thickness. 3/4" reveal at bottom edge (provides a bigger shadow like you would find in actual wood clapboard siding). 50 year transferrable warranty. - 100% first five years, then pro-rate over remaining 45 years. Fading guarantee based on 3 micron depth - most others measure fade at a greater depth. Exterior lights have a block mounting plate so light fixtures can be changed without having to cut or trim the existing siding Soffit - vent slots are inside recessed areas rather than exposed - cleaner looking. Gutters are seamless - 5" to carry more load, and 27 gauge material. The crew was very friendly and professional. I purchased new shutters and they installed them at no charge. They routinely cleaned up - including cigarette butts from a smoker (zero smoking inside the house). There was very little I had to do once they left. They were excellent at details, including laying the siding so the exposed butt end was not facing the street. Looking from the street, one length of siding blends smoothly into the next. Only issue was one window that didn't quite fit right and bowed slightly at the bottom. They came and trimmed it to lay flat within a few days - about a 15 minute fix. Neighbors were highly impressed, and one hired Premier to replace a living room double window with a bay window from them. Bottom line - Quality product that you have to pay a little more for, but is worth the investment in terms of what you receive. Outstanding customer service by not only the salesman who wants to provide what you want, but also the workers who pay attention to all the details during the installation. A contractor I feel I could trust.

We dealt with Tom Archibald and he was very thorough with his estimate. He went over everything and then went over it again to make sure that everything was correct and that he understood what we wanted. He was very good. He listened well. He got the estimate back to us in a real timely manner. He came in under what we had estimated. We thought it would be about $20,000. We are very pleased and the price is very reasonable.

Let me start by saying all employees I met were so very nice and courteous. Respectful, clean and hard workers. They had a huge job in replacing my siding and did it very well. They sent the same four crew the whole job. The crew chief was excellent in superivising and working hard himself. The company who made the siding delivered it and placed it in my drive very well and not putting it on my lawn at all. The start of the job was hampered by the rainy weather. The first three days of the seven day job they came at 7am and left at 7pm and it was humid and very warm out. What ever time they said they would be here,they were here on the money. How they worked so long with very little break is amazing to me. I picked a color and trim completely different from what I had and it looks wonderful. I have a some bad experiances with otrher companies and they made sure all along the way I was happy with things. Since this was the biggest expense I have ever done on my own, I was so nervous. The only thing that went wrong was two of my screens got small slits in them from tear down but they fixed them for me and they are as good as new. Yes i would use them again. If they keep such good employees, this company will be doing business for many more years. Oh, one of the things I was worried about were the nails, since I have a big driveway. They got every one. Also cleaned up very well the huge mess. Thank you. Udate: I did have to call them for a piece of siding that had buckled and within three days the foreman came out and resolved the issue. It was fixed to A ONE quality and I am again satisfied with the service and ;how fast my concern was adddresed. He also went around the entire house and saw a spot that neded recaulking and did it on his own. This company has employees with a quality work ethic. So glad I picked them. Thank you Angie's List.

I thought they were competitively priced and the salesman was very knowledgeable; we just went with someone we previously used.

They arrived removed the old window and had the new window installed in just over 5 hours. This is a big window and our house is tall so they had to bring the window in through our front door and set it in place. They sealed all around the window and installed trim work. It looks just great.

Tony came out to give us and estimate. What I really liked was that they worked with us. We did not have to pay all at once. We were able to pay in 3 installments.

They did really well with the siding and I would use them again for that but the windows were a different group of people and they had some slight issues. Premier Window Systems Inc was more than happy to resolve the issues created by the guys that installed the windows; they bent over backwards to take care of those. I got what I paid for and they used decent quality materials; it was upper-end products and that is what I ended up paying for. If there are any issues, their managers are more than willing to work with you. One of the pieces of the door came off, it looked good in the beginning but after two months, it came away from the bottom part of the sliding door. At that time the company that sold Premier the sliding doors noticed the issue and they resolved it, and in the end, it all turned out well. So both Premier and the company they buy their doors from corrected the issues as good as it could be. I don’t care which company they hired did it as long as it is corrected and it looks alright now. I was extremely happy with the siding project, that was done by Premiere directly, and it was a job well done. The installers were more than happy to resolve any issues I had with the siding, so I was very happy with that.

Seeing that so many of my neighbors had replaced their roofs, I called several roofers for estimates. The salesman from Premier Window Systems (7390 Broadway Avenue, Merrillville, IN 46410, Phone: (219) 864-7455, (888) 599-7455) provided the most impressive presentation -- explaining exactly what they would do, describing the differences between the qualities of materials they offered, assuring me that he would help me obtain the best possible insurance settlement to help offset my out-of-pocket expense. Even though other roofers offered to do the job for just the amount of the insurance settlement, with no cost to me, their proposals included only the most basic of materials. One other roofer quoted for the higher quality Corning roof products used by Premier, but Premier's price was a bit less. But that is not what persuaded me to hire Premier; it was the sense of caring I felt from my dealings with my salesman, J. J. Halpin. True to his word, he made sure that the job progressed as he'd promised it would, returning several times while the work was underway and after it was done to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. The workers themselves were punctual and efficient, and so cheerful -- they interacted with each other in a way that made it obvious that they were happy in their work. J.J. had suggested installing a skylight for my kitchen while i was replacing the roof (not to be covered by the insurance settlement, of course). Though I wanted to keep my out-of-pocket expenses down, I am so happy that he persuaded me to put in the skylight! It was definitely the right thing to do. I get enjoyment from it every day, and, as J.J. called to tell me a couple months later, I am even eligible to get an income tax credit for the skylight. The drywaller who framed out the skylight in my kitchen after the roofers were done was extremely personable and pleasant, in addition to being punctual, efficient, and skilled at his craft. I have nothing but praise for the people I dealt with from Premier. They provided me with a superior product and, at least equally important, they made the experience of having the work done both pleasant and hassle-free. The president of the company even called me a week or two after the work was completed to make sure I was satisfied. I highly recommend Premier and plan to work with them again when I replace my windows.

Premier is very punctual. Tony came to our home to provide an estimate the same day I called! The initial estimate was for gutters only. While in the process of obtaining competing estimates, we revamped our intentions to include all the aforementioned work. Premier staff are professional, punctual, polite, and perfectionistic (paying attention to detail). They aim to please. Our only frustration was the time it took for the job completion (several weeks). There was a mix-up, and the wrong siding was delivered. When the siding was swapped, there was an insufficient supply of the new siding. However, Ron, the owner of the company, went out of his way to accommodate us, by having Premier perform some extra touches for us, at no cost. Ron and Premier are truly committed to customer satisfaction.

The crew arrived early and completed the job in a matter of hours. They did an excellent job. They cleaned up and left. I was very happy with the service.

They did a great job and had a much better price than other estimates. The roof looks great and they were a pleasure to work with.

We liked them but we didn't have them do the work because we had a roof problem and the guy who did the roof did the window also. The guy from Premier Window Systems seemed to know what he was talking about; he had the materials with him to show you the options to tell you the advantages of this or that window, etc. And he seemed really down to earth and sensible. If we hadn't gone with the man who was also doing siding on the dormers, I would have gone with him because he seemed reliable.

We were overall very pleased with all the work, very professional, met all estimated project completion dates. We would recommend them, and yes, we would use them again.

I contacted them through Angie's List. I sent an email and was surprised that they called a few hours later. They set up a time for a consultation and arrived on that scheduled day. The representative, Tony, was very professiona, thorough, and knowledgeable. He went step-by-step explaining the process, the pros and cons of which product to use and didn't mind when our Corgi sat licking his leg for several minutes! He explained their other services, but wasn't pushy trying to get us to agree to more work. After the consultation, my husband and I agreed to let them do the work (especially since the second company never came and a third simply walked around the house and mailed an estimate with no explanations). Tony continued to work to set up the deal, even calling us on HIS vacation to see if we had any questions, and then emailing the estimate to the home office. I met with the owner who was very pleasant, giving me the same amount of attention and knwledge as his sales associate. When they ran behind schedule, the company called and explained (excessive heat and rain). When they were finally able to set a date, they came and completed the work in one day. The workers didn't make a mess and cleaned up after themselves. They did leave a garbage bag and some debris behind, but it was stacked neatly for someone else to retrieve. Then the owner came by for the balance and did a walk through with my husband. Didn't take the check until my husband said he was satisfied with the work. Then Tony came by a couple o weeks later to inspect and see what the experience was like for us. The house looks ten times better than before the work was done. It's a very old house (101 years old) in need of a lot work, but the work this company performed made a big difference.

I had other companies to come out to do estimates but the way they were talking about installation I was weary. I went on Angie's List to look for others providers and I found premier window system. They came out and did the estimate and Tom was very professional on explaining what he could do and how the installation would be done. The quality of their sidings and windows I would prefer.

It went very well. They were prompt and completed the job. One window leaked and they returned promptly and repaired it. Also an outdoor light fixture was broken but they replaced and installed it.
