It was awesome. They showed up bright and early as promised and prepared the area. We waited out a brief rain shower and they poured concrete that afternoon. They used precautions to make sure the wheeled carts they used did not destroy my lawn. They did a fantastic job of cleaning up the area when they were done, I ran the mower two days later and had no issues with debris in the lawn. He honored my Angie's List discount coupon of $100.

Went very well. Dean was great to work with. They installed my design to the precise measurements. Took great care to not damage surrounding lawn and left no trash or debris behind. I would definitely recommend.

Dean was very responsive and worked with our schedule to come out and look at what we wanted done. He provided us some great insights and provided a very reasonable price on the spot for the work. We ultimately decided to go with a paver patio instead of concrete, however, had we gone with concrete, we would have hired CD & Sons. Should we need concrete work in the future, we will be calling them again.

After consultation, we decided to replace the old concrete with colored and stamped concrete. Chris was very helpful in offering direction and advice in choosing color and pattern. Sometimes communication was not easy--several calls before a call back. But Chris was unfailingly polite and helpful and absolutely did everything he said he would, when he said he would, including clean up. The job looks great!

CD & Son Concrete did a wonderful job demolishing and re-pouring the front steps at one of my rentals. They were professional, quick, and left no mess behind. Great guys!

I called CD & Son to have an estimate done for tearing out my old dilapidated black top driveway. Dean came out to the house and met with me while I was on my lunch break from work. After getting the estimate, I was pleased that the price was reasonable so I went ahead and scheduled them to start the work. Dean advised me that he was about three weeks out before he could start which I was fine with. I was having 4500 sq ft of Asphalt tore out and replaced with 6 inches of concrete. Dean said he pours the concrete with the fiber mesh but I also upgraded and added wire as well. Three weeks later Dean and his crew show up to start. They brought some of their material out Sunday night so they would have it on the jobsite and ready to start work Monday Morning. They were wasting no time tearing out the old and forming and forming up the new. They worked all day Monday tearing out and forming. The next three days they poured the concrete (had to pour in three sections due to it's size). I would often come outside to watch them work and take progress photos ( I stayed out of their way but wanted to watch my driveway transform from the old eyesore that it was). Dean, his son Chris, and their helper "Somebody" were impressive to watch work. They stayed focused on what they were doing the whole time. The three of them worked great as a team and I don't think I ever seen them taking a break, even while I was outside chatting with them. If fact, they were there working one day for 12 hours, on top of their hour drive to my house and an hour drive back to theirs. They are very knowledgeable with the work they are doing, very efficient, punctual, and affordable. My wife and I are extremely happy with the work they done for us. We now have the nicest looking driveway in our high-end neighborhood and I wouldn't hesitate to call him again for any future concrete projects. Thanks again for the great work! Chris came out with his mother and spoke with us and performed the estimate on 9/3/2016. He called on 9/5 and asked a couple of additional questions and indicated we would receive the estimate the following day, 9/6. We have yet to receive the estimate. We called and left a voicemail message for him on 9/8 and 9/12 and have yet to receive the estimate or a return call. On both messages we left our phone number and an alternate email address but still have not heard back. Extremely unprofessional and very poor customer service. Would not recommend.

We had a new concrete stamped patio poured early this summer and couldn't be happier with our finished product. The team was courteous, they respected our landscaping (putting down protective boards over our grass to drive their heavy machinery on) and they were very efficient. We were glad that we had a variety of colors to choose from and were happy with our selection, as it looks just like tile. Definitely glad I found this business on Angie's List and I highly recommend them to complete your concrete/patio needs!

The results are beautiful! They knew my needs (I'm in a wheelchair) better than I did.

Everything was excellent. Dean and Chris do all the work themselves, so you know exactly who will be on your property the whole time. From when I called, Dean came out to give an estimate just a few days later, and he was perfectly on time. I described what I was thinking, and he perfectly connected the dots. He was also prepared with pictures of their work for comparison and idea generation. About five weeks later, they were able to complete the project. It took only two days, and they cleaned up very well after. They were professional, quick, and the work looks great! I would definitely use them again!

Not satisfied with service or communication. After the work was completed much of it bubbled up. We contacted the installer and he said he would come back and fix it. We called him three times and left messages and he hasn't returned our call nor has the office that we have left messages twice in the last Month. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

All service was being accomplished in one day. The service provide showed up on time for both the evaluation and execution and delivered a high quality service.

Started researching providers on Angie's List mid Feb. 2016. Contacted CD & Son Concrete and scheduled an estimate the same week for March 12, 2016. Most of my follow up questions were placed through the Angie's list messaging portal and were quickly answered by CD & Son's office. Phone calls were quickly returned as well, so this business scores very high in maintaining communications. I felt the written proposal was quite reasonable based on other Angie's List reviews as well as concrete industry info on the 'net. After meeting Dean, I got the feeling he is a man of his word, and so far he hasn't disappointed. I asked for and received a list of driveway replacements Dean has done in my area, as well as proof of insurance with contact information. Everything checked out and I signed and returned the proposal on April 18, 2016. With the seemingly endless Spring rains, it was impossible to piece together 3 dry days in a row so the work wasn't started until June 7. It was a Tues. afternoon that demo of the existing sidewalk and driveway began. The driveway demo was more challenging than expected as the 40 year old concrete was 10 to 12 inches thick so it took until dusk to get the first half of the drive removed. Work continued Wed. morning to set the forms for that area and concrete was poured in the afternoon followed by application of the curing and sealing agent. Soon after, demo was started on the bottom half of the drive and continued again until dusk. Thurs. morning, demo was completed, that portion of the drive was formed and poured, and finished with a cure/seal application, while the sidewalk forms were installed. Fri. morning, the sidewalk was poured, tooled, and pressure washed for the exposed aggregate finish, after which everyone packed up and moved offsite until Chris returned around dusk to apply the final seal coats to the walk. The crew consisted of Dean, his son Chris, and one recently graduated young man who provided support where needed. All contribute and help each other to keep things moving forward. It's quickly evident that they work well together and even enjoy their work. At the end of each day they organized their tools for the next day and gathered any trash they may have accumulated. At the completion, they even cleaned the street where their equipment had tracked out small amounts of dirt/gravel debris during the process. During those 4 days I saw commitment to family, to the job at hand, to each other, and even met Dean's wife one evening as they stopped by to pick up some equipment. And as an ex-smoker, I was impressed that I never saw any of these guys light up - no cig butts in the yard or bad examples for my grandkids or neighbor's children. Though I have never before had an opportunity to scrutinize a freshly poured driveway and/or sidewalk, I have received plenty of positive feedback from neighbors as they pass by on their daily walks. There has been lots of interest and I've been asked by several to pass along their contact info to Dean. Seems it has been a good experience for myself as well as the folks at CD & Son Concrete. I would absolutely use them again.

Entire process was super easy. Free estimate and they worked with us on scheduling around HOA approval and our schedules. Work was fast and they were very neat, would highly recommend Dean and Chris!

Dean, Chris and Taylor showed up bright and early and after discussing plans with us, got right to work. They are very professional and extremely good at what they do. They answer all your questions and make sure you are completely satisfied with what they are doing and the end result. They meticulously worked over 3 days and the results were exactly what we expected. We love our new pit area and can't wait to entertain guests. I am a first time home owner and was looking for a functional, decorative patio in the backyard. After a few quotes that were more than I was looking to pay for the size, I contacted Dean with CD & Son. On a Sunday evening mind you. Dean returned my call promptly and came out to my house within a few days to give the quote. I was floored at the reasonable cost to have the exact patio I wanted. Once the weather cleared, Dean and his son Chris, began the work. I was highly impressed with how quickly they completed the project, but the quality is fabulous. They are extremely careful in preserving the lawn and my sprinkling heads. I am loving my new patio and showing it off to friends and family! Several of my neighbor's have stopped by and in fact, one of them has their patio scheduled for next month with CD & Son. An overall fabulous experience!

Holy smokes! I contacted them on a Sunday, they called back and were out to look at our site on Tuesday. The work was complete by the end of the week. BEAUTIFUL job too. We're very very pleased.

Dean and Chris are the best!! They didnt want any money until they finished the work. They dug out the grass and staked off the area in our backyard that had never had anything there before. They brought all the concrete in using a wheelbarrow to make it easier on our lawn. They colored and stamped the surface. It looked terrific! We couldn't be happier.

Very responsive when scheduling the appointment, they came out on the next day to take a look at the job site and give me a detail quote on how much it will cost. Initially they estimated the job will start in 2-3 weeks. However due to the weather, it had been pushed out to 5 week before they actual start the job. Took them just 2 days to finish everything. Very happy with the steps and extended driveway. However, they could do better on notifying me on the schedule delay. I have no problem with any delay as long as they communicate it with me. Sometimes its hard to reach them by phone, but they are very responsive on Angieslist message.

Great. The work was done on time (before winter set in) and within our budget.
