+ -1 moreI had anticipated more than one painter to do my rooms since I was having the ceilings done as well. However, only one painter was here to do all the work. All the floors and furniture were covered by Ben and Rick prior to painting. Ben was the painter. He was very meticulous and did a fantastic job. However, I felt it was unfair to have him be the only painter on the job when I was originally advised by Rick Remaly that there would be move than one painter. I was advised to buy 2 gallons of each paint color because they would be painting 2 coats. I did not need to have 2 coats done but now I am stuck with 2 gallons of paint I can't return because they were made by the company's color swatches. All in all, my rooms look great and we only had to move the furniture around before and after the painting.
Description of Work: I had 2 bedrooms, living room, hallway, small alcove and all ceilings painted.

+ -1 moreTerrible communication (by terrible, I mean lack-of!!) Scammer. Tried stealing my money without providing a service.
Description of Work: Rick canceled on me the day before he was scheduled to perform interior paint work on my home. Rather than call or text my phone, he canceled using Angies List messaging system. Luckily I was bored in the morning, and happened to sign in, and was able to see he had written me to cancel. Had I not signed in, I never would have known he had canceled. But the biggest challenge with Rick was rescheduling the work for a later date. After several failed attempts to contact him, over the course of several days, I finally contacted Angies List explaining what happened. Angies List refunded my money, and were great to deal with. To this day, Rick has NOT contacted me to apologize or explain what happened. I would NOT recommend him to anyone looking for paint work. I work in a large network of blue collar laborers, and have explained what terrible services WEREN'T provided by Rick's company.

+ -1 moreSteve and crew arrived 10 minutes early and ready to start work. They painted the basement walls and basement floor. They finished and still had time so they painted four closets upstairs for me. We got the paint through Rick Remaly who passed on the discount for the paint job. We would use Rick Remaly Painting again. They did a great job and we were very pleased.

I have reached out to him a number of times and he has not responded back to me. I would consider looking for another company for paint work.

+ -1 moreWas an Angie;s list big deal and Rick contacted me promptly, was on time for the job (actually a little early), performed the services (plaster repair) and cleaned up. After he left the only way I could tell he was there was there were no more cracks in the plaster! Will definitely use again for painting as well.

+ -1 moreI had some older woodgrain kitchen cabinets. Rick's schedule is busy, because he's good and in demand. he arrived on time. He masked that area and painted the cabinets with a gun. He painted both inside and out. It took two days and it came out perfect. The cabinets look like new. I would give Rick my highest recommendation.

+ -1 moreThe two painters (Steve and Elias) arrived a bit early and I was ready for them with the paint. I asked them if it would take all day or if they would have time to get to a few other prijects. Steve said that it would depend on how long it would take for the garage since it was in bad condition and required a lot of scraping. He asked me to show im what the other projects were and I showed him the front door, the two benches and the very rusty handrail as well as the paits for those projects. Steve and Elias were able to complete the garage early enogh for them to take on the rest of the projects. The were prompt courteous and efficient. I liked them alot. They did good work and I most certainly would use them again.

His assessment of the damage was made clear and was able to make the necessary repairs. He covered the work areas and cleaned up after he was completed. Estimates for other work was given during service call. I will use this provider in the future.
