Looks beautiful, very professional

Arrived on time (Rick and Bob) and completed dry wall repairs quickly and professionally. Very satisfied with quality of work and care taken with post-work cleanup. Rick went beyond the work contract and offered to locate and calk the exterior mortar cracks were causing the inside leaks. Many thanks to Rick and Bob for a job well done! Highly Recommended!

Job was done fairly well. There were some large paint drips/roller marks on the walls in one of the bedrooms that are definitely noticeable unfortunately, and there were several dried paint drops on the carpet/baseboard that won't come out. At the suggestion of the painter we added on some repair/painting of the ceiling (the tape was peeling around some of the corners). The add-on work was a bit pricey, but this was offset by the original deal purchased on AL which was very inexpensive. Overall it was still a positive experience. Our painter was on time, polite, and honest. I would probably reach out to RRP again if I need painting done in the future.

First of all, I would like to say that I had reviewed Rick before, and gave him a good review. At that time, he had quoted me on the job I am reviewing now. Second, I would like to say that with this guy, you get less than what you pay for. I knew the quote was low, but trusted this guy to stay true to his word. He was to do knock-down texturing on a bedroom, closet area and stairway. When he started, he told me he would do one part of a wall, and then have me come up and see what it was going to look like, All he did was spray the texture on the wall. He told me that once I painted it, it would blend in and cover the flaws on the walls. I told him that it looked like someone had spit all over the wall. He hadn't even planned on "knocking it down" with the drywall knife. At that point, I just wanted him to do what he was going to do and get out of my house without confrontation. I should have made him leave. He didn't even bother to tape around trim, doors, etc. His helper Bob tried to wash the stuff off of the door. I now have to scrape the stuff off the trim, wash the rest of the residue off the door, and also try to get the specks off a dresser, not to mention fixing the crappy job he did on the walls. I'm sure that he knew he couldn't do the job good, so decided instead to do a quick, crappy job without discussing it with me first. Rick gave me new meaning to DIY.

Rick Ramaly scheduled service for Sun 10/18 8am, needed to reschedule due to "mechanical problems with work truck". I agreed to the offer of coming the next Sunday 10/125 8am). Sunday Oct. 25th 8am came, they were a NO CALL- NO SHOW. I called the company, left a VM and no returned call. After 1hr, I sent the following message via Angie's List and still have YET to receive a call back or response to date: "Hope Tolbert10/25/2015 GM, It is now 9:00amCST on Sunday 25-Oct and your company was to be here at 8amCST per your confirmation on 20-Oct. I have received no communication from you regarding this now 2nd missed appointment. I will be cancelling this order and requesting a refund of the amount paid from Angie's List. My feedback will be left accordingly. H.Tolbert" The Offer Assistance team was great in getting the amount I paid transferred to another, and hopefully more professional company to get my needs met. Not a great 1st Angie's List experience AT ALL.

Great! Very pleased with Ron who was prompt and professional.

My husband purchased the work from Groupon. It was for 3 hours of drywall. We had some minor drywall repairs around our door frames. It took forever to get a response. My husband had to call a few times. Rick was polite when he and my husband spoke. I spoke with Rick to arrange the date and he told me I would not be charged for the plaster since it took so long to schedule and that a special kind of quick dry plaster would be used so that it could be sanded the same day. Once scheduled, the worker was polite and arrived on time. However he missed plastering around one of the door frames and charged me $50 for the materials. He also did not use the quick dry plaster so it was not sanded.

The guys were on time and worked hard and fast. Did exactly what we needed and were clean and organized.

Went very well. Man arrived a little early and got right to work.

On time, excellent work and cleaned up completely afterward. Hope to call Rick to paint the interior soon.

Rick was very personable. He explained everything he was going to do before he did it. The hole was patched evenly and looks like there was never a hole there. Recommended how to paint bathroom walls, and gave me his card for a discount on paint. I will be using his services again.

I tried to contact him twice and he did not respond. I also asked Angie's List to contact him and he did not respond to them either.

This was very frustrating experience. Provider never called me. I called him. He did agree to meet at the building where painting was needed. Provider did not call on agreed date to meet. Subsequently, I made many calls. Left a message each time. Provider ignored all my effort to contact him. He would neither answer his phone nor respond to my messages. Will not answer phone since then. My calls were recorded each time, the provider ignored all my effort. He is terrible example for what Angie's List has advertised. I may not renew my membership. Both jobs were done very well.

Attempted to contact Rick Remaly Painting for an estimate on ceiling plaster repair and interior house painting. Never heard from them. Went with Paramount Painting out of Crown Point.

they were very responsive, courteous and inexpensive. For the price they did a nice job. It was not a really great job...we had to do several touch ups on our own afterwards. But for the price it was fair work.

Recently bought a home that required new paint in almost every room. Rick sent a crew out on very short notice and they have been bringing new life back into the house. Paint looks great and we are pleased with the services provided.

Rick and his partner were punctual, friendly and very professional. Our family room has a lot of trim and they took the time to prime, paint and caulk all the trim including the sliding french doors, windows, and bookcase. After that, they sprayed painted the walls. For the most part it was adequate coverage, but there are a few spots that I noticed that could have had an additional coat. I think next time (due to the type of paint purchased) I would ask for there to be a little more drying time between coats. These areas are minor so overall I think that they did a really good job.

Not great. There were a lot of spots that were missed. I think I could have done a better job myself.

I forgot about the initial date and Rick simply had us reschedule. He even let us use his discount for our paint purchase. He and his helper arrived on time (both times) and even finished on time. He even repaired some flaws in my walls and ceilings by spackling and sanding before painting.

They scraped the old paint off where it was needed, did a very neat job of applying the new paint They completed the work without asking you for anything except a dust pan and broom to clean up. I would definitely recommend Rick Remaly and his team .
