Was very professional in giving estimate. Gave two estimates, one with high end venting and one with middle of the line. Answered questions in a honest manner. Did not use because we had a contact with someone we knew.

They were on time, very clean, and just friendly guys.

These guys are great. Very professional. I received bids from 4 other ''A'' rated Angie's List companies. One wanted to replace the entire chimney from roof level to top (the house is only 15 years old), another wanted to tear out the top 4 rows of bricks to build a more elaborate chimney. Of course, the price was excessive and the repairs not needed. Tim was honest and did not suggest any work beyond the repairs that were required. He also did not ask for any money until the work was completely finished and he had had a chance to reinspect to be sure everything was OK. I was completely satisfied and would use them again without hesitation. I recommend that you get an estimate from Tim before you have work done by someone else.

The company's repair tech did things as Tim had recommended (my husband went on to the roof and checked after the repairs), and Tim was very knowledgable, thorough, and pleasant to work with. Besides the fact that Tim spent over 30+ min. w/ me explaining what he recommended after being on the roof, we picked his company because he is certified by the National Chimney Sweep Guild, Indiana Chimney Sweep Guild, and the Chimney Safety Institute of America. My thoughts: When you look at all the companies that can do these types of repairs, look on the web for certifications and you can eliminate many of the potential companies! Tim's company is highly certified, very capable and pleasant to work with, and the price was very fair (the other two free estimates we received were $200+; Tim's at $435 plus $315 for caps; and one for $2,660!).

One of only two suppliers that were interested in the job. I asked 6 or 8 companies to quote. The price was a little on the high side, but the work was done very well as much as I can see from the ground.

Seemed very trustworthy, marketability a good price. Did a good job.

The grades should speak for themselves.

Did not perform work that their offer claimed, i.e: cleaning the (entire) chimney. Recommended that a thorough video cam inspection of the chimney and cleaning of the entire chimney be done at an extra cost. Attempted to charge more than the agreed upon price (quoted two days before the service was provided,) claiming that prices had gone up and did not willingly extend the senior discount. Subsequently reviewed the service provided and the price dispute with the company owner who offered to refund the entire charge.

Overall I was pleased with the estimate and the detail of work to be performed particularly in comparison to other providers estimates. I was also pleased with the level of communication the company had with me prior to getting my signed acceptance and receipt of the deposit. I have been less than pleased with the companies communications since that time up until I got my deposit returned with a letter from the owner Tim Smith. After several weeks of sending the deposit, the company responded to a call I had made asking for information. They explained the weather constraints to doing the job correctly. I certainly understand this and would have had no issue with the delay if their communication had been timely. After requesting my deposit back until a later time when the work could get done, we received a very nice letter from Mr. Smith apologizing for the delay and explaining the weather issues.

HE DID A GOOD JOB. I EXPECTED THAT HE'D DO THE WATERPROOFING WORK, BUT HE SAID HE DIDN'T HAVE EVERYTHING WITH HIM ON THE TRUCK. HE GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE, AND TOLD ME I'D HAVE TO SCHEDULE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT.

CONTRACTOR WASN'T EVEN AVAILABLE TO VIEW THE PROJECT AND PREPARE AN ESTIMATE.

CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT CHIMNEYS IN GENERAL. I HAVE ALSO USED THEM FOR A CHIMNEY CAP AND WATERPROOFING.

WORKED WITH THE OWNER AND EMPLOYEES. PERFORMED CAMERA INSPECTION OF CHIMNEYS AND PROVIDED QUOTE IN A TIMELY MANNER. LIKED THE FACT THAT HE DID NOT ONLY PROPOSE AN EXPENSIVE RELINE OF THE CHIMNEYS BUT AN ALTERNATE SOLUTION WHICH ENSURED PROPER DRAFT AND SAFE OPERATION AT A MORE REASONABLE COST. WORKED WITH ME ON MY TIME FRAME. WAS VERY PUNCTUAL AND PLEASANT TO WORK WITH. REPAIR WAS NOT AS EXTENSIVE AS HE HAD FIRST ANTICIPATED, SO HE LOWERED HIS ESTIMATE TO REFLECT THE WORK HE HAD TO DO.

THEY WERE ON TIME AND VERY POLITE. WE HAVE TWO FIREPLACE FLUES SHARING THE SAME CHIMNEY. HE TOLD ME THAT ONE DIDN'T NEED TO BE CLEANED, SO HE SAVES US SOME MONEY BY NOT CLEANING A FLUE THAT DIDN'T NEED IT.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THEY WERE PROMPT AND THE CLEAN UP WAS EXCELLENT.

THE WORK WAS DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER AND THEY CLEANED THE GUTTERS AFTER FINISHING THE JOB. THIS PROBLEM WAS DETECTED WHEN I HAD THIS COMPANY CLEAN MY CHIMNEY. MY ROOF IS EXTREMELY STEEP AND THEY HAD NO PROBLEMS ACCESSING THE TOP OF MY ROOF. OVERALL, A GREAT EXPERIENCE AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS.

THE PRICE FOR, AND QUALITY OF, THE WORK DONE WERE VERY GOOD AND THE WATER REPELLENT USED WAS OF TOP QUALITY. SEVERAL OTHER COMPANIES HAD RECOMMENDED THAT I HAVE THE CAP REPLACED. HOWEVER, THIS COMPANY SAVED ME MONEY BY REPAIRING THE CAP BECAUSE IT STILL HAD A USEFUL FUTURE LIFE VIA MAKING RELATIVELY SIMPLE REPAIRS. THE OWNER AND HIS ACCOMPANYING WORKER IMPRESSED ME AS BEING HONEST AND HARDWORKING.

OUR EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY WAS VERY GOOD. WE FELT THEIR ORIGINAL ESTIMATE WAS FAIR, AND THEY DID NOT EXCEED THIS ESTIMATE. THEY DID EVERYTHING THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO. THEY WERE CAREFUL TO PROTECT THE EVES WITH THEIR LADDERS AND THE ROOF DURING THE PROCESS. CLEAN-UP AND HAUL AWAY WAS EXCELLENT. WE WERE KEPT APPRAISED OF THE PROGRESS, AND THE WORK WAS COMPLETED ON TIME.

DID GOOD WORK, PLEASED WITH RESULTS, VERY TIMELY. OWNER WOULD SUPERVISE AND FOLLOW UP, WHICH WAS APPRECIATED.

I CALLED AFTER SEEING THEM WORK FOR A NEIGHBOR. THEY RESPONDED QUICKLY. THEY DID A GOOD INSPECTION & QUICK ESTIMATE. DID THE WORK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. WORK SEEMS GOOD. VERY PLEASED. HONEST ENOUGH TO SAY THAT IT DIDN'T NEED SWEEPING OR A NEW CROWN.

THEY WERE ON TIME, POLITE, AND SEEMED TO DO A GOOD JOB. THE PRICE WAS VERY COMPETITIVE.

TIM SMITH WAS ON TIME FOR BOTH THE ESTIMATE AND TO BEGIN THE JOB. HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN THE PROBLEMS AND HOW TO BEST REPAIR THEM. WE WILL USE HIS COMPANY TO CLEAN OUR CHIMNEY EVERY OTHER YEAR.

THESE GUYS WERE EFFICIENT, KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND FRIENDLY. THEY WERE ALSO VERY NEAT! THAT IS SAYING A LOT FOR HAVING TO CLEAN OUT AN ENTIRE FIREPLACE.

THEY INSTALLED THE CHIMNEY FOR ME ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO AND HAD SOME DIFFICULTY GETTING AHOLD OF THEM BECAUSE THEIR RECEPTIONIST WAS OUT OF TOWN. THEY WERE VERY POLITE AND PLEASANT.
