It was a wonderful experience! You could never tell anyone had been in the house - they were very neat and even swept up after themselves. The work was done exactly as promised. Tim even burned a small fire to make sure everything was as it should be before he left. I only wish we had another fireplace in the house so we could have more for them to do. I would recommend Tim and Chimney Sweeps of America without hesitation to anyone. A+ all the way!

It took me six weeks and 3 different companies coming out giving me estimates before I had the work done. Every company I called wanted to charge me $900 to repair it b/c they said it was too high for them. They said they were going to have to rent a ladder truck to get up that high. Chimney Sweeps of America said they could do the work for $125. The guy came out w/ a ladder on his back, climbed 3 stories and repaired my chimney cap. Thank you Chimney Sweeps of America. I just so glad there are people out there who can do this type of work.

They were courteous, prompt, and they answered all of my questions concerning bats.

They were prompt, professional, and clean. They also did a great job of cleaning up afterwards.

Tim Smith, the owner of the Company spent extra time to try to find the part. The fireplace model has been discontinued, but Tim persisted and found the part. This was a difficult repair as the space available to work was very limited. A week after the repair, a small gas leak started at the pilot, Tim came back immediately and had to take the system apart just to get to the problem. He was very concerned and said to call if any other issues arise. Tim is a real pro, and great to do business with.

I needed two flues relined and called for an estimate. Tim arrived promptly and gave me an estimate. I agreed and he asked if he (due to cold weather) could do the one flue immediately, since it was mostly inside work, and the other when the weather was better. I agreed. He finished one flue the same week. A couple of weeks later his crew came to do the other flue. When they got into it they found some damage they weren't expecting. It took them much longer than expected and also took more materials than expected. Tim, however said he should have seen the damage when he did the original inspection and stuck to his original estimate. I was very impressed.

Did a excellent job. Cleaned up. Identified problems and wrote them up for me with estimate of charges.

Late by 30 minutes, did not call in. Explained work thoroughly.

One of the chimneys had a bit of mold. After they were done they were supposed to add some sealant but they were still green. They told me they cleaned as much as they could but couldn't get it all. He didn't apply the sealant because the chimney wasn't really clean. I was disappointed because if I hadn't of followed up they would have applied the sealant even though my chimney was still green.

Tim set up an appointment for 9:30 and was running a little late, but called to notify me of this. When he came I told him my concerns and he went up on the roof to inspect the chimney. He also reinspected the inside of the fireplace and made some suggestions of caulking to be done by us or them. While he was on the roof he took several pictures to show me of some things that needed to be repaired that could possibly be causing a water leak. The pictures made me feel very comfortable with what he said needed to be done. He said he would send me an estimate of costs for repair. I was very impressed with his professionalism,friendliness and concern for me as a customer. I would not hesitate to call him again.

Tim was very prompt and knowledgeable. He stated that the chimney cap had fallen because the base is crumbling and our chimney needs to be rebuilt (bricks falling). Provided estimate for future chimney rebuild.

This is one of the most professional companies I have done business with. The owner, Tim Smith, is capable of doing any kind or chimney repair from small to complete chimney rebuilding. I had three other companies out to do an estimate and Chimney Sweeps of America is "head and shoulders" above other companies in the Indianapolis area. Tim arrived on time for the estimate and delivered an estimate when promised. Although this estimate was higher than others I felt confident that this company had the talent to do the repairs correctly. I was right and they showed up on time and delivered as promised. They met and beat all my expectations. I will use them over and over again.

It was great. They were very responsive and were flexible in writing the contract, to where I was comfortable. I checked with 3 different companies, and they were in the middle. They cleaned up the area very well, for such a messy job. The only issue I have (and it's probably more a preference) is, that I would have liked to have been notified when they were coming. I just knew it was going to be done by the end of the month. They just showed up one day, when I was at work (my sister was at my home) and did the job. They wouldn't have been able to do the job, if someone wasn't home. I don't have an outside electrical plug, so they can run their grinder.

I called and made an appointment to have the chimney cleaned. On the day of appointment, he had a cancellation and called to ask if I could move my appointment up from 3:00pm to 12:00 noon. I was willing to do this. He came and put paper shoes on when entering my home and laid down a work cloth in front of the fireplace before beginning work. He vacuumed the fireplace chimney out with long poles and was done in about 30 min. I was surprised at how quickly it was done for $124.00. I told him about a possible ceiling leak near the fireplace, and he gave me some information and an estimate of applying a ''chimney saver'' heavy duty water repellent for #275.00 Not sure if this is necessary, as he did not climb up there to inspect it. He said he used some kind of magnifying binoculars to look at the chimney caulking and said everything looked alright.

Tim and his crew did an excellent job. Tim was very professional during the estimate, spending time explaining what needed to be done and how he would accomplish the work. Tim spent extra time trying to get as close a match as he could to my 40+ year old brick. His last minute efforts actually found a better match than what we had agreed to during the estimate. His crew was very easy to work with and kept a clean and orderly job site. I would highly recommend Tim's company to anyone needing masonry or chimney work.

Tim was pleasant, courteous, and on time. He recommended replacing the back wall of my fireplace at some point but said I could still have a fire in it as long as I didn't make it too big. It was nice to not have a hard sell. He also recommended getting it cleaned every two years based on my use, which I appreciate, as it will save me money. I will use this company next time I need chimney work.

Mr. Tim Smith was a bit early on the day he was to make the recommendation and estimate, no problem. He proceeded to examine the chimney and prepare the estimate and discuss it with me in a professional, friendly manner. I had several other people give recommendations and estimates with prices varying from $200 to $900. Chimney Sweeps of America's recommendations and estimate were in my opinion the best. Chimney Sweeps two man crew arrived early on the agreed on day and proceeded to work. They were most professional and craftsmanlike in their work. They took pains to not disturb a TV dish antenna mounting and wiring system on the chimney and still get all the mortar joints repaired. They also cleaned the place very well when completed. (They also replaced a brick on the house which was not part of the deal.) All things considered, Chimney Sweeps of America did a very nice job and I would recommend them highly.

CSofA front office returned my call inside 24hrs to learn details of my needs, and had an appt scheduled inside 48hrs in the near future. Tim, the owner personally called to confirm the install date, and a next day rain date. The job was done to perfection. His staff was neat and courteous, and cleaned up great! One of the best contractors I've ever worked with.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE VERY PLEASANT. THEY ARE EXCELLENT CRAFTSMAN. EXTREMELY EASY TO WORK WITH. TELL THEM WHAT YOU WANT, THEN LET THEM DO THEIR JOB. YOU WILL BE WELL PLEASED.

They were very flexible in terms of scheduling. They had to work around other contractors' schedules. Friendly, seemed honest. Did a nice job for what seemed to be a reasonable price.

Mr. Smith was on time, very polite, and gave me advise as to what to do with the fireplace since it was not built properly. He gave me suggestions as to installing an insert. The price was affordable.
